You aren’t reading the forums enough, I see just as many Jade Coast posts antagonizing the BG forum trolls. If everyone would just stop trying to troll one another, maybe there could actually be a “fair” tournament.

Instead we get BG chest thumping posts which lead the Tarnished Quarry posters to antagonize BG with the kittened #BGTears posts, which just starts the whole two part cycle over again.

Unfortunately this is never going to stop due to the anonymity of the internet, but one can hope. I just hope JQ/TC win this tournament and get over this grudge they have against BG so we can actually have a fair match up next tournament, instead of trading wins with each other.

Eh, actually I do see JQ and TC answering to the BG posters… I just meant I don’t see them flooding the forum with so many threads… I do troll the crybabies myself, and I’m not even part of T1 anymore (Since January 2013)

The big difference is that I have guard buffs on all of them now.

I don’t think having Favorite commanders qualifies success or prosperity, what qualifies success and prosperity for any commanders is: using good judgement, having positive attitude, common sense, good communication with the group… being confident to any circumstance, sincere, respectful, humility, focused on the goal, cooperative in getting everyone working together to attain success, helping and providing strategic support to the group, and most importantly, cooperating in getting along with everyone: no matter what.

That to me is a Commander

Just because we choose one to be our favorite, doesn’t mean we think all other commanders are bad…

No one out there is perfect. People have flaws based on how they deal with things… I’d stick with the one I belive that deal better with each situation. But it also doesn’t mean he is perfect, and not everyone in my server agree that he is the best just because I think he is…

Thieves – Stealth, picking off targets, venom share
Engineer – Grenades

I agree with necros and mesmers, but thieves are about as useful as a ranger (picking a single target and kill it, sharing venon is the worst excuse I ever heard) and nades condis will be cleansed by the guardians/warriors on the oposing zerg even before they reach the ground…

So, Ranger/Thieves/Engineers in a zerg is a big NO.

TL/DR for the whole thread:

• Rangers are good in small scale environement (ranging from solo to maybe 5v5)
• Rangers are meh in a pug zerg… But then again, everyone is meh in a pug zerg…
• Rangers are subpar in the organizated guild raid scenario, just as Engineers and thieves. Because they can’t give you as much boons as a guardian, give a lot of cc as a warrior, have high damage aoe and still be able to set down fire and water fields as a elementalist, and they don’t have boon striping like necros… That’s why every guild runs GWEN or even some running GWEM (Mesmer instead of Necro).

I would have no problem if they made the upgrade cheaper to build but it would also have to be more in line with the +5% kill xp boost which only requires economy III and 500 influence. If disciplined maneuvers was also 500 influence and required art of war III (or IV) then sure I’d build it all the time.

Also, all the wvw buffs (the ones you can put on claimed objectives), all cost 200-500 influence, have a 16-24 hours build time and last 12 hours. Why this one isn’t par with these?

I don’t think they are going to do that since the WvW abilities system is more like the skill point system and not like the trait system… You keep getting them everytime you rank up, and at some point, you’ll have all the abilities.

It can take up almost a fourth of my display at 1080p.. In the heat of battle or while operating an arrow cart it is often in the way of targeting T_T

kitten dem guardians and all their boons and that hero banner buffs, plus food and whatever other nourishment s/he have…

Exotic is no longer best-in-slot, that part is true. To be substandard though, a majority of other players would have to be in Ascended gear. Considering the price, I’m not sure we’re to that point yet.

Increase mortar range to somenthing between 12000-15000 (treb range is 10000). Sometimes i don’t even bother in ordering a mortar in a tower since i can simply build a treb in a better spot (Not in the middle of the wall like mortars are) and that is going to be much more effective.

The problem with OS is that only one GvG can take place there at a time and it can get queued just like every other WvW zone. Adding Obsidian Sanctum to the Megaserver list would cause a lot more problems than it would solve.

I was wrong in my original post too. WvW gear costs Gold plus Badges. Gloves, the cheapest, costs 80silver and 120 badges. Buying gear straight out with badges costs 213 Badges, but the gear if I’m not mistaken is only level 75, and I believe you can only get Soldiers that way.

If your toon is 80, all badge gear is 80.

After seeing the Reward Tracks, and how they dont require you to run the same dungeon path hundreds of times to get good skins, I was mighty tempted to start spvp… but then i remembered that with my staff ele i might as well just jump of an eotm island and get it over with..

Eh? I see quite a bunch of staff eles on sPvP… If you have someone to keep the people under cc, you can just meteor shower your way to victory (pretty much like in wvw)

I don’t know if there are many groups like this in silver range… You should problably try NSP. They have some good small man guilds… (Get details from someone from NSP)

Actually, the rewards from season 1 wasn’t much different except for the limited use finisher and a few more greens and blues…

And don’t come saying to me it wasn’t. I have a friend in Blackgate (which was top gold season 1), and I’m from Eredon Terrace (Which was dead last bronze season 1). And I’ll tell to you, I got much better stuff (cuz i was lucky and got more liquid wxp) than my friend.

Also, trolls aren’t necessary people from other servers… There are people who don’t care about their own server and just have fun seeing people raging on whatever they are doing.
