At least now I can see people on PvE… And I no longer need to guest on Blackgate everytime I want somenthing done because my server is a complete wasteland…

Jade Quarry lost week 1, and won week 2 and 3 (1+5+5) = 11
Blackgate won week 1 and 2, and lost week 3 (5+5+1) = 11
Sea of Sorrows won week 1 and 3 and lost week 2 (5+1+5) = 11
..Coverage is more or less okay…

With no incentive to specifically finish #1 instead of just top 6, the system discourages server stacking, meanwhile matches are more meaningful because a bad loss could knock a borderline server out of contention entirely.
Wouldn’t work… People would just stack on the top 6, while the rest would rot… All you did was give more options for people to stack.
I don’t need a commander to set up a superior AC and farm bags from Overgrowth all day… Problably would be better if I had a partner or two, as 2-3 Superior ACs would meltdown the zerg even before they realize they are under AC fire.
Being on Frostreach for that is awesome because the Kodan keep have some nasty spots to place an AC an farm the people bashing their faces on the gate. And also, Frostreach seens to be always outmanned which mean extra wxp+magic find.
Please leave EotM as it is, so i can keep laughing on how pathetic the people that only want to karma train are. (Also keep getting these phat lewts)

FA & TC had a good rivalry at one time when we were both in T2. Although we most likely won’t be facing each other for awhile, our hate still runs deep towards them.

What if all camps were buffed to EOTM levels? and there would be twice the number of ranged/caster NPC’s in all towers by default.
Why? because then bugging through gates/walls would be pointless as the NPC’s woud wipe the floor with you. And nightcapping would be more fun, even when alone.
I will already give you ahead some of the responses you are going to get:
- “We want to fight players, not more NPCs”
- “Keep your PvE out of my PvP”
- “If killing mobs was fun, I would be doing dungeons, not WvW”
- “We don’t need anymore PvE in WvW… Keep those things in EotM”
As long players can attack the gate without siege, its hopeless…
I wonder if the legendary defenders get to see a therapist during the small downtime while the match up resets. They have seen so many suiciders end their lives, day after day. Must be one of the toughest jobs in all Tyria.
I’m sure a Sentry Guard need a therapist much more than anyone else in wvw… It’s problably the worst job ever…

Does it suck that you happen to be on the only server in the top 11 ppt servers in this game to not get a mistforge weapon? But you have to remember, we in DB had the opportunity to throw ourselves into silver if we really wanted, and us core wvw’ers decided to grind ppt hard to get better and more consistent fights in gold league.
Neither SoS/Mag/FA wanted you on Gold, and still you made to it. Don’t come regreting your choice because FA will get a shiny mistforge weapon and you will not. You knew from the start the consequences of your decision of making it to Gold…
These days there is absolutely no point to these Badges. Anyone who plays WvW regularly has thousands of them, and no need for any of the things you can purchase with them.
I’m pretty sure that people that set down lot of sieges (specially commanders) have a use for them… But of course, for zerglings and ‘we play for fights dudes’ siege doesn’t matter.
Ever since i finished gearing up my 8 toons, all my badges of honor are becoming siege… I think the OP doesn’t use much siege, since he think its a useless currency…

People play in overstacked servers and complain about skill lag… Really, I didn’t felt any skill lag ever since I left Blackgate 14 months ago.
We’ll see if Blackgate is that demoralized now that TC is getting out of the matchup… Really, I predict a easy win for BG, with JQ having no chance…

It’s not new. And I’m sure it’s not intented.
I use Exotic armor with ascended weapons/trinkets, and I have from little to no trouble with being par with people on WvW. And except for the weapon, you can get all that from solely WvW.
Also, the gear isn’t salvagable, because people would just keep buying it and salvaging it for ectos/dark matter, screwing the market (That’s the same reason why temple gear isn’t salvageble). I don’t know why I can’t dump them on the mystic toilet tho (you can mystic toilet temple gear).
If you problem is the runeset on your armor, I remember that you could transfer the runes using transmutation crystals to you new gear. But now with the new patch, I don’t know if this is still possible.
You do know knights was also nerfed as crit dmg got lower, right?

You’re getting better prizes than the servers stuck at the bottom of silver/bronze league, because even if you finish last, you’re 6th… If my server finish last, I’ll end up with 9th place rewards… So, you have a fair advantage over the servers being roflstomped down on the other two leagues.
I’m all for implementing dimishing returns and removing stability. There is just way too much class bias going on with that right now. When it comes to crowd control we need a system which works at least somewhat evenly.
Hmmm yeah, i guess removing stability if there are diminishing returns is no big deal… We should keep stunbreakers tho…

Hmmmm, I did said ET was a complete wasteland while I was on Darkhaven, and I keep that quote. After all, We have outmanned buff up like 95% of the time on EB, and everytime a enemy blob-zerg show up on our BL we get outmanned aswell. But other than that, I’m sure I never trashtalked ET.
Now about after DI left…
I wasn’t in contact with anyone on ET during the following month (I was on Maguuma at that time), and I was experiencing the shattering of the BS that moved there (Now [FcTR]) to worry too much about what was happening down here… I was impressed when I was told that AKD left and never heard of them since (I think they are on Wagonbrand? I don’t know).
And my feelings about BoM are on my other post, but really, I think my major issues were just with Gilfirkin which ended up reflecting to the rest of BoM since he was one of the main members (I don’t remember actually having problems with Elderlight, Aggie and others…)
Yeah, that quote is mine, and I keep it: I never liked Gilfirkin anyway… To not say the many times I stayed up late to try hold things togheter until the night crew kicked in and they never showed up (Some of my friends on other server even joke saying that our night crew was fairweather).
You can’t make me love them for that. Just as I’m sure they don’t like me either… But that’s my personal feelings.
But then again: Why would I love a guild from another server? Once out of ET, you’re just another red name that must be eliminated.

I don’t. I’ve seen transfers after posts like that in the past. People usually like to know what they are getting into and talking to people on a server is a good way to do that. I’ll also answer PMs, in game or here. We have fewer people than the top-tier servers but we still have a broad variety of play styles from solo roaming to zergs taking objectives and talking to different players can give different perspectives.

I’ve been between T6-T8 for the past 13 months, and I haven’t heard about skill lag… It’s a issue that affect only the servers that field up mega blobs (T1-T2, and maybe T3).
There are free transfer to T5 T7 and T8… It’s your choice to stay where there is skill lag instead of moving out of it.
I posted in another thread about skill lag and that thread seems to have been deleted. It really ticks me off that threads are getting deleted about this issue. It needs to be addressed!
Stop stacking on top tiers and you won’t have skill lag… Problem solved.

Free transfers will only work for T8 servers when they’re the only options that are free.
Its funny how they didn’t learned that the first time they openned free transfers to ET/FC (T8) and HoD (T7)… Everyone just left ET/FC for HoD, and they were forced to increase the T8 ratings to finally move SF out…

How about increasing the HP of Gates and Walls for the outnumbered server? We know siege is the best way to stop a bigger force, but sometimes the outnumbered server don’t even have the time to get a single arrow cart up because the gate melted to 4 superior flame rams (and you only need a 20 man for that… Imagine what you can do with 50).
I know some people will say “Oh, but why didn’t you built the siege beforehand and blahblahblah”. In a server that is already lacking numbers its hard to find someone that will be willing to sit back refreshing siege over and over… Hell, I’ve seen siege decay on high populated servers (like Maguuma). And the siege that will be build is limited to the supplies you hav ein your hand and on the tower, so if you didn’t upgraded the tower, you won’t have much to build and try save it.
That would give more time for outmanned server try to build a defense, and would discourage Karma Trains over the outmanned server stuff (since it won’t be fast and furios).

Anet’s attempt to handicappaing is to adjust the transfer costs to the servers.
Which ended up just moving the problem from one server to another…

GoM shot itself in the foot, despite warning; we proceeded to try-hard and thus we went up in rank, and thus we felt into a 800 gem category, which nobody would pay 800 gems to go to an already low server. Regardless, the WvW community has restarted to rebuild, we have a [not so recent] return and transfers of new guilds, some of them small but organized. Right now we are just looking for coverag since we are all aware that it is night coverage what wins games.
We don’t tank, even if it means passing on an opportunity for free transfers. There’s plenty of servers in need and trying to skirt the system just wrecks things for everyone.
Wagons stop and break once it hit a wall… I expect HoD and DR to be teared apart at some point after the leagues…
