Since its now impossible for DH to loose, I would like to thank all the commanders and players who made this upset possible. Everyone did some really great work these past few weeks, and hopefully tonight we will get a good reward for our efforts.

Yes, upset. SF beat us week 1 of leagues and from that point on was the favorite for second (and some people thought first). 90% of people, when asked, said SF would take 2nd (again, after leagues began). I refer you to the bronze league thread where nearly every prediction places Dh behind SF.

So yes, it was an upset. Also, rankings meant nothing kitten had placed higher against FC then Dh did pre-season. Even pre season it’s arguable that SF was the favorite for 2nd, once season started it’s not even debatable.

No I meant in that particular instance. SF had placed higher than Dh against FC and so were favorites over Dh, thereby making it so rankings were not considered accurate even at that time.

Face it man, you guys got upset. Don’t fight it. Your server may not have felt like you’d win, but everyone else (cept for some HoD folks) did.

Are you reading my posts? I gave you facts to back up my assertion. SF placed higher against FC than Dh and so was viewed as a favorite over Dh. You’re ignoring my points, repeatedly, it’s dishonest.

To repeat:

-SF placed higher than SF against FC pre season.
-SF beat Dh week 1.
-SF beat servers like FC far more than Dh did, and thus was viewed as stronger.
-SF had been higher ranked than Dh until 2 consecutive losses to HoD.
-SF was repeatedly predicted by many people in bronze league thread to be number 2 over Dh.

Those are the “facts” that you’re ignoring to preserve your world view. I suggest you shape up and stop letting wishful thinking decide your opinion. SF was the favorite, Dh was the underdog.

Fixed the end part for you… I’m the only one on [HSSS] that do duels (Not that we have many members anyway… We have 3 active players on ET and 1 on BG atm), and the only one that usually run with [BS].

BTW, I’m terrible on 1v1. I’m more used to Command people on Eternal Battlegrounds (as we hardly have a commander there) but because of some recent issues I decided to take a break (I think the leagues are taking it’s toll on me). And that’s the reason I don’t really care if I get merked or not on it (Be it on the windmill or while roaming). Also, I bet that’s the reason I’m not [BS].

Anyway, I’m always up for duels (Except if I go back on commanding). So whenever someone want a fight, you can just whisp me and choose a place.

So, we gonna get a fight night this week? Last week was lame…

And, occasionally, they trade kills with the enemy behind a windmill.

From my perspective the difference this week has been the efforts of ET. This is not to discount the fantastic coordination, turnout, and effort of DH. Truly this win is yours and is one to be celebrated. I wish I had a screen shot of the end of Monday evening to back this up so take this with the grain of salt I know it will.

Monday on EB I saw our squad fight off Zergs alternating from the DH side and then the ET side. We would stop the threat, and minorly take back a few of the losses before the zerg from the other side would come sweeping down. After a few hours of this action it seemingly becomes obvious. The pressure asserted by ET certainly prevented our ability to focus our attention of whom we consider the the point leader. Monday also closed with ET pushing SF totally off of EB. A review of the map at that stage saw the SF borderlands riddled with color while the ET borderland was mostly untouched. With this kind of effort by ET why are they still behind in the point count. I leave this to speculation. I will say that one snapshot moment in time does not represent the whole.

Truthfully, this may be a small element of the composite of what has SF (in second this week).. not losing. A big part of this is what seems to be a focused effort by the two servers we are playing. It is hard to play against two servers that are on their “A” game and focused on a single objective.

I do not see the anger you see. Merely the reality of the fact that we won 3rd place in the bronze league. We will learn to be better yet IMHO.

AR is a lot different, trust me. We recently fought them and they put up a serious fight. Totally different server. I’m not at all surprised they’re giving GoM a run for their money.

I have no doubts that AR is a stronger server than when the leagues began. But still I’m sure GoM is suffering from the lack of people due the new PvE content (This is old already)

GoM is problably being “Fractured” atm… It happened a lot in the past on other major PvE events. I won’t be surprised if even DR surpass GoM this week.

There were some awesome, awesome fights tonight in SF BL. BS had a ton of fun fighting both DH and SF. Star = 10 warriors, 10 guards, 1 necro, 1 ele or something. With permanent stability.

I think we angered that [StaR] zerg, because they rushed through the DH group at Briar Tower to go straight to us almost at our spawn doorstep… Then, they went back to bay and left all the non-StaR to die… Poor SF pugs…

In all seriousness it isn’t a step up, its a sad spectacle, there is a reason I’d take another week of HoD over Darkhaven, you wanna know the difference? HoD actually, I dunno… fought, didn’t matter we were losing, they were winning, they fought us. Didn’t try any bullkitten field siege.

I miss having those fights with VLK or MU on any given night, and actually being fought with, not seeing twenty nameplates retreat into a tower.

And while the last thing I expected was those two guilds really even caring much about the match-up, their presence is interested in any regard.

I dunno I just loved how Darkhaven wanted to say they’ve stepped their game up, when I’ve had better fights with ET’s groups than Darkhaven, so step up or step down? And this is in all disregard for PPT, cause in Coverage Wars 2 its a fools game.

You can say we didn’t step our game up all you want, doesn’t make it true. You are having better fights with ET because you two are fielding a more balanced number of players, its hard to have a good fight when its just us running over you over and over with a 700 ppt.

Don’t forget the ACs…

Its a clip from a documentary. A wild raccoon had repeatedly pestered monkeys in an exhibit at a zoo stealing their food etc. The monkey at this point has had enough and tossed the raccoon and then immediately walks off disregarding the raccoon. A sentiment that closely reflects how I feel towards that user. I can PM the source if you like. The problem with this guy is that he does this every week… He (and his group of 4) contribute nothing of consequence to his server. Then he comes to the forums and talks crap about guilds that rolled his face because his group of 5-8 killed a straggler from a good guild group that was destroying his server. The problem here is that even after beating SF and doing your chest thumping, HoD (or more specifically MU and VLK) keep comming stalking SF to keep talking crap about them… Maybe if you left SF alone, you wouldn’t “have enough” of the people that YOU are calling out.

EVERYONE knows that SF is no perfect server… They win by overwhelming numbers during the prime time, but they fall when facing a server that have a sizeable force on their enourmous coverage gap… Anyone that deny this is an absolute blind fool.

So we don’t need some Tier1-Tier2 try-hard to come down here on the slums to talk about how we live play. If you can’t handle the forum war, stay out of it.

We’ve dropped abit no matter why, but I honestly prefer it this way, I enjoy being an underdog and having to fight for every tower a hell of alot more than waiting for somebody to cap something so I can take it back.

I never seen FC have 695 ppt so you would have to wait for people to cap somenthing… Really doesn’t make sense.

Someone commented earlier about how DH runs away from fights with SF or whatever. But I have had the opposite happen to me. I roam alone a lot in my BL. I have had way more better fights with ET roamers than SF. Almost every SF I see, runs from me. =(

SF – Go Big or Go Home… It always been like this… Too bad that DH came big for you this time (unlike week 1), so you had to go home. But hey, at least you have 0 chance of losing your second to ET.

DH – The underdog is running it’s show. An all-round coverage is what it take to win WvW… If the SF prime time were spread across the whole timezones they surely would be a much harder opponent… But that’s not the ocasion so DH have it’s well deserved victory.

ET – We’re just here, capping somenthing over there. Trying to defend other over there… This matchup has nothing to do with us anyway unless we can beat SF to 2nd (which I find Highly improbable)

They were favorite to finish second before season start and obviously at these times SF has barely anyone online. 420 is quite low actually. If we can end the weekend with less than 10k difference in PPT we still have shot. They also had us beat in coverage on reset night, but they did that too during the first week. Right now, no one is worried. We’ll worry if they can keep it up on Monday.

BS is looking for practice gvgs in the new OS arena. If interested, please message Avatar of Belle.9623. We’ll do 5v5 up to 15v15. The 15 is iffy since the entire guild has to show up so it might more of a 10+ practice gvg.

At least we know that we will control OS, unless CoSA some other SF guild come zerging us.
