Even at 100 hp/sec, I think that isn’t that bad. 1k health every 10 seconds is pretty good to have going on in the background. I think mine heals me for around 118 and my pet gets 200-300. It is more useful for the pet.

Why does everyone chase me across the whole map XD

ok ok ok… it was obvious that those guys at ANet have no idea wtf is goin on in this game, but simply imagine this: 5 superior ACs, maned by 5 guys with maxed Siege Might and AC Mastery rank traits behind a door. The question is: HTF do you get near the door without being instantly killed????

Ballista? Catapults? I LOVE this change. it makes siege weapons actually dangerous. Looking forward to it.

Yea really good ranger changes. Hopefully the F2 skills can activate WHILE I am running now. Really excited.

Nice vid. I love when people chase me in WvW thinking I will be an easy kill. Especially most thieves. Then I stop running and turn around and take them out.

Thank you everyone for coming to Fight Club, loved the fact that people came in an hour early to come, sadly, the new build interrupted us and some did not make it come back; however, It lasted approximately 5 hours and about 50-60 people attended. I hope everyone comes next week, and new faces will be honourably welcomed!

FOV is not visual though. By visual I mean textures. It doesn’t increase arrow cart functionality range, but it does increase the range of where you can see. Thus allowing you to place the aoe over walls like shown in those screenshots. The rules may not be specific to illegal game actions such as speed hacks, or flying. However it does specifically say right there, CHANGE or MODIFY OPERATION of the game. Changing fov, speed, etc falls under that. So it will get you banned if caught.

Just for kicks, try playing GW2 on a tv screen 50-60 inch, without the “mod” you can see the same visual range as with the mod on a smallr screen. It isn’t a hack since it is built into the game for a different screen size and resolution than is normal for most people. Complaining to Anet won’t change that.

Well sounds like it falls under one of those ‘moral’ things then. They can still warn the offenders and if they continue to do it, punish them. Not sure how evidence would be collected though. They can track them and if they don’t see a third party program, but still have evidence of them doing something they shouldn’t be doing, I think that would be good enough evidence to send a warning.

Do you have a link to where it says that?

It should be obvious that I agree, but I cant actually provide evidence that it is bannable. :\ The terms and conditions are far too open to interpretation. The comments on one of the videos even says “people should be banned for using it” not that they actually are. I am hoping for something like “using third party programs such as gZoom is against the terms and conditions and will result in an account ban.” I am hoping to specifically find them saying that using the zoom hack is bannable. Honestly, some of the stuff is pretty benign (like first person view).

edit: The fact any of this is even possible in a modern MMO is pretty shocking to me.

gzoom is software that modifies/changes operation of game. If it was something that changed VISUAL things client side, like texmod did with GW1, I don’t think that would be in violation.

I always roam. Problem is I am one person. My guild roams with me if we are all online. However some are new to gw2 and some are new to WvW. Only have a few 80’s in the guild. We have gotten wiped by you before XD

I forget the guild tag but I fought a really good Necro from DR in DR BL last night. In the back of the SW supply camp. You were staff and dagger/horn. Really surprised how much you were moving around. Those chills were deadly. Our duel was cut short when some other people arrived and you all got me. Best necro I ever fought so far.

I was the norn ranger.

What’s even better is if a player jumps at you and then you use point blank shot. It knocks them right out of the air and on their butt.

I’m still using the Fellblade. Partly because of nostalgia, but I also just really like the look of it.

Nooo! I love this map. The secondary objective is probably my favorite out of all the maps.

I feel the same about Blood Magic. I wish we could sacrifice hp to support others or do damage. I liked that alot in the first game.

GW2 is a different beast compared to WoW. Just play GW2 for what it is. Don’t play it expecting it to be like WoW. With the ‘end game’ you are used to. That is my advice to you.

Karizee laid out a lot of good info for what has been released.

Point blank shot on longbow. That skill alone is the key reason why I use it for sPvP and WvW. Proven way too useful in so many situations.

Unless the target has stability of course :P

Fun duels last night in IoJ BL with [Edge] from DR!

Maybe it is because I work in the industry, but I am having a blast with this update. I think it is so cool that they had a small team put this together. I am 25 years old btw.

Yeesh people look for things to complain about I swear. All I do is WvW 90% of my time in this game. I LOVE events like this.

I agree. The cripple on this skill would be very useful for me since I lack that condition. If they allow this while moving or speed up the animation, that would be helpful

They are viable. I still play mine the same. It is going to be difficult to get used to pet skills not recharging on swap as well as quickness just feels so slow now. However, I think these were fair changes. Gotta adapt.

Do you think pet skills recharging on swap was OP? Do you think the class was too difficult to beat because of this? That pets were OP? I’m really curious if people thought this nerf was necessary.

Yes. It was necessary. I can pet swap every 15 seconds. Which means a knockdown from my wolves and the wolf fear is 15 sec recharge instead of 45.

Just a warning if you laugh at my dead corpse while beating me 1v2, I will make it my top priority to hunt you down and annoy you the whole night. I may not always be able to beat two people by myself, but I will bring friends and spam laugh your dead body.

I don’t like people like that. I never taunt a person I kill. However this is PvP so what can I expect right.

Good points by all. I started with mostly cleric armor as well and have slowly been taking some of it out for berserker. I have 25 in BM and use two wolves. I think starting with cleric armor is a good start. Start taking away healing power when you start to feel comfortable.

Also I think siege weapons should be SIEGE WEAPONS. If you come to a tower with arrow carts lined up on the wall. Those should be a threat. You should rethink your attack strategy and think of a way to take down those carts.

Siege weapons are just not threatening enough for siege warfare.
