Well where do I start…
1. The Atmosphere of the World, I love it’s feel and its beauty keeps me in.
2. The Fun I have with the community keeps me in
3. Dungeons and Fractals are awesome and a lot of fun, now with the new features I can find more people for different dungeons.
4. World vs World is a lot of fun.
5. I have many things to buy so I have a lot of money to make
6. The Living Story content and the Activities are fun to do if you get bored of above
7. I need to level 5 more classes to level 80
8. PvP is also a lot of fun

They never said to stop the Living Story, they said to add more Permanent Content with the LS Updates.
On the Overflow I was in there was a conjured Greatsword at the waypoint, I have no idea how it got there, but we managed to kill it by trapping it inside one of the Doors and get 10 People to stand near it with retaliation. After 20 Minutes, it died from killing itself.
It dropped nothing. But it should drop precoursers, seriously.

Tho some of the Voice acting in the game has gone wrong, many things went good actually, I don’t know who this Jenny is you’re talking about but I really like the Voice acting of the Sylvari Female how it is at the moment, it’s kinda cute.
But the phrase “It burns!” when you are set on fire actually sounds more like the Asura Female, and one Shout of the Guardian isn’t Voice Acted somehow.

Actually, my opinion is constructive, as I am a potential paying customer. I am giving clear reasons why I’m disappointed in a companies product.

Also, I bought the game, but I regret it. So those statistics don’t prove anything. How many active players do they have?.. that’s the question.
Enough to fill up all 24 NA Server Populations to Very High, on Primetime 3 of those are Full. Enough to Fill up half of the EU Servers to a Population of Very High, enough to support the Living Story and enough to keep Anet alive. You don’t need to know more.
Also it is stated on multiple Game News Websites and by Anet themselves that this game to this date sold nearly 4 Million Copies.

I am the target audience for this game. I’m an MMO fan, that uses microtransactions often. I’m equally as important to Anet as any of their current customers. I have a voice.
No you aren’t. This game isn’t meant only for MMO Fans, it is a game for people who have never played an MMO. If you would have watched the Manifesto Trailer before actually buying the game you wouldn’t be here probably.
I may quote one specific sentence:
“If you love MMO’s, you wanna check out Guild wars 2 and if you hate MMO’s, you really wanna check out Guild Wars 2”.
You are a traditional MMO Player who doesn’t like change, and this game tried to change everything, that was clear from the beginning.
Your mindset on this game and MMOs in general is wrong, so you either need to realize that this game is for playing to have fun, not playing to be more superior to those who play less

If you think Geargrind, Hardcore Raiding and grinding in general, the typical WoW Endgame, is Fun, then you are not the target audience of this game. And instead of realizing that, you try to change the game so it suits you better while ignoring the hundreds of thousands who enjoy it the current way.

Now that they appear in the Sky when an Aetherblade Attack Event near the Hot Air Balloon towers appears, I always die because I look in the Sky to watch those things.

It’s awesome that we fight on one of those in the Arah Story Mode Dungeon, but we seriously need more Content with those Ships.
Like a Airbattle between the Airfleet of the Pact against the attacking Aetherblade Pirates, shooting down Enemy Airships with Cannons, boarding the enemy Airships and Fighting an entire Instance out in the Sky. Rr maybe a big Airship Attack as a new Meta Event where you have to build Flak Cannons and Stuff.
This Concept really needs to be expanded!

I once read that every Profession uses some kind of magic. Rangers may use the kind of magic that generates Arrows out of nowhere without the need to load them on the string.
I’m living in Germany, but I play on an American Server. That means, Noon for me is night for you, which also means that all my efforts in WvW would be reduced.
Servers with a active WvW Playerbase that conquers even in the middle of the night should be rewarded for that.
So in what situations do you need to tell what class a player is?
Before a Dungeon? There’s enough time to look closely for that.
During a Dungeon? Watch their Skills.
In PvP? You get hit by the skills right in the Face, it’s easy to tell then.
At open World Events? Why would you care?
1vs1 is probably just a fun mode. PvP is like League of Legends or DotA 2 A Teamgame, where some Champions/Classes can outplay other Champions/Classes more easily than others, and it all gets balanced because there are 4 other Players.

The whole story of the Elder Dragons is boring. Good vs. Evil god we saw that so often. Interracial Wars and Conflicts where you can’t clearly decide for which side you fight are much more interesting.

They welcome the asura peacefully, but the asura feel insulted and challenged, so a small group of them tries to steal the Matter-Core in the Heart of the Planet, who keeps the Planet alive as his Magnetic Field has faided long ago. They can’t steal it because it’s of course huge and massive, so they destroy it. They manage to flee before the Planet gets hit by a sunstorm and the empire of the Nine Skritt Highkings is burned. After a few years the Asura still didn’t manage to close the wormhole, as fire, heat and radiation travel through it. They start an operation to change the directon of the Wormhole from the Planet to another dimension, ripping apart everything but collapsing the Wormhole with the suicidal Bursting of the Core-Reactor of the Research Lab. Since then creatures appear randomly in the area.
Now go ahead Anet, make this fractal a Skritt Fractal, not another Inquest Fractal.

I remember in an interview a guy from Anet answered the Question “Is the Money you got from the initial Sales and the Gem Store enough to support the Living Story content efficiently?” with “Yes, It’s more than enough”.
No Source though, just something I remember I read on the forums few month ago.
Everything you have accomplished stays. I’d recommend Jade Quarry, all Dungeons and most temples are uncontested most of the time and jormag goes down in three attacks.
It isn’t called Guild Wars because of the ingame Guilds either.
You don’t have to do the Living Story Content, it gives you no advantages, just some Fun Minigames and activites, Story Details which will be available on the wiki afterwards and lots of cosmetics.
No Trinity, No Tanks, no Aggro.

Unlikely. Logan’s a Guardian. Only Warriors have the Rampage elite.

It’s a pain for me to level my mesmer, somehow I don’t deal any damage so it isn’t fun. The Most fun class for me is my Warrior, I like the mobility and head on fighting without needing any kind of stealth or heal.
Breaks are needed anywhere you spend much time on. You can’t eat your favourite food for two week without getting tired of it. Eat something else for a day or two, and your favourite food will taste awesome again.

With the trait to rally after you kill somebody in Vengeance you are nearly undefeatable as a Warrior for normal and small group PvE content. And with the overall damageoutput of the Greatsword and the Mobility of Double Axes I’d say Warrior is the best solo class for PvE.
No trinity doesn’t work in this game because there’s no support, everything is DPS which means that the higher the damage of a class, the more important that class is to PvE. Which, in turn, makes other classes obsolete.
That’s one of the Issues, you’re right, But it shouldn’t be solved with a classic trinity which defines your playstyle completly. There have been suggestions to make classes stronger for certain thinks like Damage-Support, Damage-Control and Damage-Damage. To get to that point you don’t nerf the ability to deal damage, but buff the ability to heal, provide Condition cleanses and drasticially increasing the usefulness of CC, which is useless at the moment because most Bosses have “Defiant”.
No trinity doesn’t work in sPvP because there’s no synergy between classes. No synergy = no teamwork = no competitive play.
So you want sPvP to be some sort of Dungeon against other players where one tanks all the damage while others heal him and others do damage? That’d be boring to play and to watch, and Gw2 tries to get eSport attention. With the current system it would be possible, because it’s fun to watch and to play, it just needs more balance between the classes. PvP is about smashing others together, splitting and attacking from different angles, that is teamplay in a PvP Game.
Resurrecting doesn’t work because the game doesn’t offer enough punishing mechanics to warrant Downed State. Therefore you either limit the amount of people actively able to resurrect a person at any given time to one, or you drastically reduce the amount of health a person has while in Downed State. Dying in GW2 results in you being transformed into a static turret.
The Downed state is a good mechanic for solo playing, because if you die and your enemy is low, you can kill him and get up again. It’s against frustration. In Dungeons it helps getting players back up if they did a mistake, but depending on the dungeon path it takes a big risk to revive a downed player and that balances it out. In PvP it’s a annoying if you kill somebody and a teammate runs by and just revives him while you can’t do anything against it because they heal faster than you can do damage, they should nerf that.

Of course Gw2 needs to improve on many things, but is adding the Trinity an improvement? Hell no. Improving the actuall class system is better than just adding a darn trinity that I’m so sick of. I play gw2 because it has no Trinity and I don’t need to do exactly THAT in Dungeons to be good. If many people are telling you you want a WoW Clone, maybe it’s true? Or you just express your thoughts wrong. No Trinity and the resurrecting mechanic are 2 reasons I play this game, for you those are 2 reasons to rant about, it’s your opinion, not a thing that needs to be changed entirely.
