I really like the cultural T3 Armors and the price is fine. Buying these armors shows that you are willing to pay so much for the looks, what is a good way to seperate myself from the players who just want the best armor, no matter how kittenty it looks.
Good that you had a nice experience with the enemies crawling these ruins.
I got knocked down a Wall by a Gendara guardian kitten on purpose and got to do the whole thing again.
Well, this single airship we destroy and the people we kill don’t have to be the only sky pirates in whole tyria, maybe there are more.
Hello Community,
Sky Pirates of tyria is an awesome patch! I love the content and the setting, steampunk combines my favourite genres, fantasy and sience fiction, I love the Dungeon and plot seems very promising!
But… The name is Sky Pirates, but we don’t see much Sky yet, only pirates. I know this is probably just the beginning of this Storyline, but that doesn’t stop me from speculate.
How awesome would be a dungeon where you have to board a pirate skyship with your own, fight with them and all that in the open sky! That would be so awesome, and we know it works from Arah Storymode.
What are your ideas how this could continue?
Hello Community,
Since you have to solve several Jumping Puzzles in order to complete the achievements of the sky pirates, I recently did them. And the ones I did where SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome!
That’s exactly the kind of Detail and Challenge I enjoy! So much little detail there, you get to areas other people don’t even know of, for example, Fawcett’s Bounty. A Big Ship in a cave (I wonder how they managed to get it in there). And because there is no message popping up what you have to do, it makes it much more attractive for me. I love when I have to figure things out for myself.
People go in Angry CoD Rage Kid Mode day in day out, but I sit there on top of the tree in the hidden garden, look down uppon them and just shake my head.
So much hate, where there could be so much love!
Well, now I went from jumping puzzles to a anti hate thread…
Anyways, thank you Anet for this awesome little things you put into your game!
I enjoy everything you bring up, no matter how much those WoW Fanboys or Gw1 Nostalgics hate you!

Why are people constantly trying to make gw2 their second WoW?
I don’t really mind temporary content, as it provides the feeling of a changing world, but they could do a “Portal into the Past”, where you enter the Mists and you are able to replay all Dungeons and Instances from the Living Story and your personal Story.
Hello Community!
I’m planning on going to hunt some achievements the next weeks, but I don’t have much motivation to do achievements that don’t give me anything but those useless points. I also see alot of People with like 6 to 7k achievement points.
What’s the matter behind them but to show other players how long you play or how much you did already?
So I had a thought, inspired through another MMO.
Create a Achievement Shop where you can buy Party Stuff, colourfull Stuff, shiny Stuff, a few unique armor sets for the different catigories, weapon skins, and maybe some weekly Item sells that you otherwhise had to buy from the Gem Store.
That would give Achievement-Points a real purpose and a motivation to hunt them for others. And as they are limited (Except for Daylies and Monthlies), you actually would have to think about what to buy, as the prices shouldn’t be to low and maybe some more people would be exited if new achievements come available with an update.
Sometimes I wanna know what the guys at ArenaNet are thinking… or is NCsoft the problem?
Hello fellow adventures,
I probably talk for alot of people if I say: Gw2 needs the Ego-Perspective.
No, not the one from Shooters or TES, the simple one every other MMO has, including the original Guild Wars.
Why? Because it gives a better sense of space, you get a better feeling for how big buildings actually are, because you look through the eyes of your character, and not from a camera far away. Because of the 3rd Person camera, most buildings don’t look this big and because of that, not that impressive.
Another reason: At Festival Events like the Fireworks in Lions Arch, you constantly have to look at your characters butt and you don’t see that much, with a Ego-Perspective, you could enjoy such events much more.
Just give us the Option to zoom in until you have the Ego-Perspective, just like in gw1, it’s that easy, and seriously, it’s weird that this option hasn’t been available from the beginning.
oh Sorry about that
I don’t know if this kapitalism comes from ArenaNet or NCSoft, eitherway it makes me so angry
So, I got that Helmet and when my character wears it, his beard disappears, and he doesn’t look good without his beard. Please fix this, I like the helmet, but I don’t like my character without his beard.
Create a group of minstrels at the grand piazza who sings that song, I remember such groups in Lotro (NPC ones, not the player groups) and they give so much atmosphere with so little effort its not even holy anymore.
Good to see I’m not the only one, they really need to improve this Minigame.
Hello Adventures and hopefully someone from Arenanet who is reading this,
The Dragonbash is here, as we all have noticed, with it comes a new game, Dragonball (No not the anime).
I’m playing it alot at the moment in order to complete my achievements, I have already played 30 games, and won 15 of those, sadly, but I think thats enough to give out some solid Feedback, as this is what ArenaNets needs to improve their game, not those whining and crying threads.
First, what really needs to be improved is the music. It downright sucks, there is almost none, only some tracks that play in your personal story when you do something stealthy, it just doesn’t fit the spirit of the Dragonbash or the Dragonball itself. Why don’t use the regular PvP music that encourages you to fight and gives this Match Feeling.
Second, the rewards are crap too. If you win, which is a matter of the skill of your team, you get a Dragonchest, the ones you drop in masses in a few minutes when farming Events and Hologrames and you have to open hundreds to get something usefull. Except for the achievement there is no reason to do this with this kind of reward. (only if its extremly fun for you)
And if you lose, you get one single piece of zhaitaffy, like the game says “Haha, you lost, here’s a piece of worthless candy so you don’t cry”.
The Short Version:
- Improve Music
- Improve Rewards for Loss AND Win, more Dragonchests for winners, or a special Dragonball Rewardchest with a higher chance of getting something good and more Zhaitaffy for loosers, like 5.
So far the Event has been alot of fun, although I killed over 300 hologrammes and opened over 400 Chests without getting a ticket and I hate games where Victory lays in the hands of your team, not yourself, but still its fun and I’m looking forward to the upcoming parts!
If they really had to do this, like TESO is going to do it, you have to get those console players a seperate server. I know a lot of Console Players, most of them are either children (10-12 There is seriously a 11 year old child in my school playing Halo) or kittened. A small amout is normal, but I switched to the PC years ago for a reason, and I don’t want this filthy rats in my genre.
I talk for myself when I say: I can only recommend this spot, with 300% Mf I drop often very expensive things and I get a lot of money. I don’t count how much it is per hour, but I don’t care anyways as it is a lot!
I cheated by using both Vigil and Priory armor…
But it looks nice!
You could have turned the graphics up, atleast for the photo :P
If they gonna do Emote Packs and sell them in the Shop, I’m gonna burn something…
(edited by Justdeifyme.9387)
Used to be able to bind /slap /smack and just spam the two handed thwap-fest in CoH :P
My Guild and me sometimes did Slap Raids, where atleast 10 people assault Bree and slapped the crap out of everyone. The only thing you heard were hands hitting naked skin for 10 minutes.
And in Lord of the Rings Online, even a /slap emote, that I used on every random player that walked by.

C) Write it in your native language then translate it with http://translate.google.com ; afterwards edit your first post and it should be more readable.
No, don’t let him do that, that won’t work very good.
Oh you mean Items :P
It happens to me sometimes at CoF p1, but I don’t mind, it helps them leveling their alts, and I like helping people.
I’m sorry, what are Itens?
You could possibly have it automatically cast on the mouse location; kinda like quickcasting.
That could be an option, since you already can change target skills to be castet on the location of your mouse.
Uhm, I think you missunderstand me. Skill 1 of the Grenade kit IS A SKILL THAT NEEDS A TARGET AREA, so you can’t do auto attack on it because you need to aim first.
Well, in Dota you can create your own Weapons and Skins and Stuff and upload them via the Steam Workshop, so other players can download them and use them on their Heroes. And he suggests to make something similar in gw2, to provide players new custom skins, made by the community.
But using other peoples creations to make money themselves wouldn’t be so good, so they should be free for everyone.
Well how do you want to do auto attack on the Grenade Kit Skill 1 if you need to confirm the Target Area?
Well, I thought, since my Warrior must be a Berserker for PvE, I better dress up myself like a berserker. Berserkers deal heavy damage but can’t take hits for themselves, so this fits the philosophy quite well I think :P

In the long list of promises I recall how we were promised that mobs wouldn’t just popup that they’d fall out of the trees, come running up from a far location to get into their normal position, and that they’d have about a ten second window before they’d aggro. That would have been great had they done that, but no POP instant aggro every time. Especially in Orr.
Well, I saw this a few times, often with centaures. They come from somewhere and ride to the location I killed their friends a few minutes ago. But for other mobs, they often just appear with a animation that wants to look reasonable. For example the Bandits fly out of the ground like they came from the shadows, or Flame Legion Soldiers appear with a smokegrenade out of the ground. But that isn’t very well done.
You are not alone in the world. Okay, the respawn timers might be a bit too low, but respawning is a feature every MMO needs to have in order to provide the same content for every player.
Yeah Thanks, then I can’t play my main character for a week just because some elitist idiots only take heavies into dungeons.
I fight this behavior with a simple strategy. I simply search on gw2lfg for farmruns, BUT every class is welcome. Thats my way to make the community a bit better.
Especially after the last time I do that even more. We seriously had a guy who flamed another guy, because he picked the first trigger of the gate, instead of the one in the back of the room because he is faster. “we lose seconds if you do kitten like this”. FOR THE LOVE OF BALTHASAR WHAT IN THE KITTENS NAME!
Because… well… they are kittycats, and Cats always land on their feet, right?
So why do Charr get damage from falling?
Sylvari are said to fall in love with those who “inspire” them, regardless of gender and I would assume species. Sieran for example I am convinced develops feelings for your character….before she you know…..gets annoyingly killed off.
Well, I’m playing through the Durmand Priory Storyline at the moment with my Female Sylvari and I have to admit, the voice acting and how she is that curious and adventurous explorer makes her pretty cute in my eyes :P I don’t even want to continue my personal story when I get to Claw Island because I don’t want her to die. And I probably won’t continue.
Maybe they farmed their gold together to buy one or they got a precourser with enough worth to sell and buy the one they need.
I wonder why nobody brought this up yet:
HUEHUEHUEHUEHUE
You don’t have to get to the dungeon, if somebody else starts who has the waypoint, you get ported inside instantly. Also you can guest on high Populated Servers and check if its more clear there.
Hello Adventures,
I wondered if there are possibilities in the Guild Wars Universe that some Individuals from different races can have feeling for each over.
For example, the Norn have the same biology as humans, can a Human then fall in love with a Norn and it wouldn’t be wrong?
The Sylvari are imitating Humans, so maybe some guy with a weird fetish have feelings for a Sylvari or can a Sylvari find a Human or Norn so interesting that he/she creates feelings for him/her?
Gaming PC’s for the win! I don’t need consoles, can’t even play my favourite games on them.
try gw2lfg.com, you find people for dungeons quite easily, and as long as the servers are in the same Region, EU or NA, it doesn’t matter on which you are, you get onto the server the person who started the dungeon is on as long as you are in it.
And you don’t need storymode, if somebody else in the group has done it, he can start explorer mode for everyone. Of course its a shame ignoring the story modes, but you can’t find people so for storymode so easily these days.
I would not hesitate prepurchasing any expansion in a second.
I love this game, I love playing it and I have so much fun, regardless of the bugs and problems this game has. They aren’t so important for me if there is more content that I enjoy than I dislike. I believe in ArenaNet getting the job done and making guild wars 2 even better, it just needs time, and I’m a patient person. In the meantime I have fun with mostly everything in the game.
Yeah sure, and it would be cool if you get 10.000 tokens of every dungeon instantly if you hit Level 80 so you don’t have to work for anything anymore at all!
Expressing critism without solutions is like telling a person who got shot that he is gonna bleed out if nobody helps him in time.
Exactly, on the right side of the purchase window is a second button you can click on, that’s the tab where the armor is in.
I didn’t want to start a discussion here, but as it already started, I may take part in it aswell.
I’m not into the mechanics of the game, so I can’t tell what build is most efficient, what you have to pick and what you need to do, to be fast and efficient. But I don’t even want to be that. Of course I don’t want to spend most of the time reviving People at the bossfight because they can’t dodge, but also it isn’t fun for me to run with a group full of “Pros” who sucked out the last bit of strategy out of the mechanics to create the most efficient way to solve the problem. I want to do it my way. Fast and Fun. Being as efficent as a fun group can be.
This applies on other dungeons too. If I wouldn’t get groups for my first time dungeons who skip everything to save time, I would kill all monsters, explore everything and solve bossfights without a guide. With the current community I have to read guides to not get flamed in groups, skip the cutscenes and run as fast as I can, because I have to be “efficient”. It’s like every player is a little asura, Efficiency over all. But Efficiency isn’t fun for me.
But after all it is fun melting down boss in a few minutes, even if it shouldn’t be, CoF is a great way to get newcomers started for dungeons because it is that easy.
I am not expierenced enough to have a solid opinion about the dungeons, they are fun to me, but even more fun with the right people, thats why I’m searching.
