yeah… that wasn’t exactly what I call an “awesome” suggestion.

That is Norn cultural Tier 3 Pants, Named exotic chest armor from the TP, Norn cultural T2 Shoulders and some random boots.

I always level with map exploration, it takes longer but is a lot more fun to me, even after the 10th time. And if you’re quick and do every event you come across you can do quite a bunch of levels a day. On the side you can also run things like CM and AC storymode to get another quick level. But it’s true, patience is your biggest virtue.

I can say that Jade Quarry and Blackgate are very populated, where Tarnished Coast and blackgate are often full, Jade Quarry is more balanced and available. If you want to be part of this community to WvW one day, just delete your chracters which are probably not very high yet anyways. If you have no interest and you’re sure you never will, just guest.

yeah let’s just nullify one of the strongest marketing aspects of gw2.

The best way to go is with weapon kits, the grenade kit is very strong and good for roaming because you can stay very mobile while throwing your grenades. Turrets are only good if you’re doing a defensive event or you stay at the same position for a longer time, otherwise they won’t be very useful. Engineer is generally a lot more fun to play than other classes but needs more effort than a warrior or a guardian.

Well I use the same system and in my experience the courser won’t change position after it disappeared, so once you get used to it and know where your courser disappeared, you also know where your skill will go. Also I just don’t move the camera when I’m targeting.

Well no except the healing skills, combo fields and skill combinations of waterfields there are no other ingame healing options except some foods that give you passive regen and sigils with healing aspects. That’s why you have to be careful with using your skill 6.

If it’s a champion, golden frame, or a legendary, purple frame, then they drop what is called a “champion box”, that scales to your level.

If they don’t drop such a box, then they’re either just veterans or you didn’t do enough damage to qualify for loot, which is known as ‘tagging’. To be able to tag a monster for loot, you need to do a certain amount of damage compared to the others around you. The more people are there, the higher the HP of the boss scale and the higher your damage must be to ‘tag’ it.

Every class has healing spells. Your healing spell is always bound to the key 6. Depending on the class and race you can have 3 or 4 healing spells for different situations.

Specific classes and combo fields can also provide you with healing and are very useful but a bit underrated. Guardian and Eles are the best classes to give your teammates a bit of healing when their healing spells are on cooldown.

There are usually some bugs and problems with the nodes after builds and updates, I’d recommend to wait a few hours after a new update.

My tip is to don’t listen to kittens like this one ^.

Another tip is that you need to run around and dodge while fighting, the most fun experience of leveling up is doing map completion and every event you come across unless it’s a “GROUP EVENT”, fill hearts and buy weapons and armor from those heart vendors. With this you should be able to have fun just fine.

Sanctum sprint, southsun survival, keg brawl and crab toss are on a daylie rotation. You might see Crab toss more often because you hate it, and it’s human nature to remember bad things better than good things.

Technical Limitations.

Move around while fighting and dodge. Don’t just stand in front of the enemy and hammer your skills down in a specific order.

I farm the orichalcum and ancient wood nodes on all 4 maps with my 3 80’s in 1:00h to 1:30h. Gives me 12-15 gold a day.

Give us centaurs as a playable race. Then people will stop asking for mounts.

Anet doesn’t want to add it.

People who aren’t deaf don’t know how it is and hence don’t know how to help you. You’re deaf, don’t you know how anet could help you? Think about it and get some ideas, they will be better than the ones from people with normal hearing abilities.

Elementalist
Yes, they’re the squishiest class of all, but they’re very versatile and if played very well, deadly and fun as hell. I don’t know what you refer as lategame, but the entire game is built around Level 80, so I don’t think the term ‘Lategame’ is usable in this game at all.

Warrior
Warrior on built on zerker stats have really high DPS with Greatsword and Double Axe, but if you’re not good at dodging or generally a little bit aware of what’s going on, you’ll die with that build.
They can also be build to bunker and can reach the highest health pool in the game of over 35k, but in PvE people won’t like you that much if you’re a bunker warrior, if you mind that. I wouldn’t, people suck anyways.
And the condi build can also be chosen with double sword, but since condi builds aren’t very good at the moment, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Guardian
Guardians are very strong and easy to play, they can be build on multiple ways to either support, dps or straight up take hits to the face and do very well at all of that, you can’t do much wrong with picking this class, but it isn’t exactly exciting to play

Engineer
As an engineer the best way to go is using weapon kits, especially the grenade kit is very strong, but also very damaging to your fingers and your mouse. They’re fun to play in my opinion, but are in a weird spot at the moment. But for PvE you can do what you want anyways, and nobody would mind you being an engineer.

Ranger
Rangers are like warriors with stronger bows, they’re easy to play and you can’t do much wrong, but not as effective as other classes unless you choose the right build and know how to play it. If you don’t follow such builds, you can choose what you want as a weapon.

Necromancer
The Necro is the only class a condi build is really really good on aslong as nobody else in the party has one. If played correctly and well, you can stay alive in most situations your partners die.

thief
Thief has the highest burst DPS but really hard to play on berzerker builds, I’d not recommend those. They have a lot of blinds with Dagger/Pistol, if you’re skilled you can solo most veterans without getting damage. In PvP and WvW aspects they’re also the strongest of all classes, and the most annoying.

Mesmer
In the early levels mesmers are a pain to play, but once you can finish a decent shatter build, your illusions will do a lot of damage. Illusions like the Berserker(Greatsword) or the duelist(offhand pistol) do constant amounts of damage and they have a lot of support abilities like Mass stealth, the portal and AoE quickness that groups enjoy to have.

What you’re experiencing here is the so called “Queensdale Champ Train * choo choo *”
That means, a large group of players, also called ‘zerg’, follow a certain rotation of champions around the zone to gain easy EXP, Karma and loot with very little effort.

The Boar spawns north of the Point of interest ‘Hunting Lodge’
The Troll spawns in a cave close to the waypoint ‘Vale’
The Spider spawns up on the hill south of the ‘Hunting Lodge’
The Oakheart/Oak spawns directly at the Point of interest ‘Greatheart weald’ near the Waypoint ‘Phinney’
The Bandit spawns inside of the Bandithaunt Caverns near the Vista there.
And the wasp that is sometimes done too in the forest between the ‘hunting lodge’ and the waypoint ’Ojon’s lumbermill’

but I wouldn’t exactly recommend following this train as a new player, it’s very boring, you see little of the world and you won’t learn to play your class as good as if you explore the world the normal way.

Well inform yourself better before buying something like that next time. It’s not Anets fault, nor is it ours.

Well everybody can dodge, mesmers have a lot of decoy, deflect and blink around stuff, but are light armored. If you want to be able to take hits directly, either play a Power, Toughness, Vitality (PVT) guardian or a PVT Warrior with shield and axe and the right traits.

You can play Guardian with Staff and Scepter.

Just for the record, I enjoy doing dungeons, especially the new TA Path with those awesome mechanics. The atmosphere of certain dungeons like AC and CoE are just really enjoyable, like my human warrior tells me at the end of it: “An experience to remember”.

Because I like slaughtering everything without giving a skritt.

You can hover over the Region name on the map to open a little window that shows you your process of map completion there. So just open the map and hover over every region name to find the area the missing waypoint is in. Then you can use the link above to locate it.

Of course there are organised WvW servers. http://mos.millenium.org/matchups

But a transfer to Tier 1 Servers costs 22€/$ or hundreds of gold.

Well you could always play the game the fun way and explore around, do all events you encounter and do map completion…

There are more teams working on the game than the Living story teams. Living Story updates always come with balance changes. Stop being ignorant and inform yourself.

Zeranos buried the blade deep in the chest of his brother, it pierced right through the plate armor and the spell still stiffened his body.
“Believe me brother, this city has already been corrupted a long time ago”.

The City of the Gods

‘Hail Zeranos!", the crowd cheered as he raised the scepter in his hand towards the sky. From the high balcony, he could see the green palms of the beautiful beach, far behind the stone streets which were filled by hundreds of people, cheering for him. Now all of their lifes belonged to him. He laughed, a laugh that shook Luranos’ spine.
“Brother!”, Zeranos said cheerfully and turned away from the crowd towards him.
“This is a great day for our family and you sit in the back, with a face as dark as the king’s mirror! Can’t you be happy for your brothers success, atleast for one day?”.
“It wasn’t you alone who accomplished this, Brother”. Luranos’ face was like stone.
“I know, and I’m truly grateful. I will show my gratitude soon enough and then you will be as happy as I am, my beloved brother!”. His last words carried an ordering undertone with them, but as Zeranos left the room and the noise from outside abated, curiosity in him grew stronger than suspicion.

Since his father died and Zeranos, as the firstborn son, inherited the families trading company, Zeranos and Luranos worked kitten gaining control over the trade in the sacred harbour. But while they worked together for years, they also drifted apart, rivalry got stronger than love. And now, with a house full of gold through the latest contracts, Zeranos acted much friendlier and more generous than he ever did. And Luranos didn’t like that, it scared him becaue he wasn’t able to foresee his intentions.

He locked himself in his room for the rest of the evening until nightfall and prepared, knowing his brother had something planned for the festival tonight. The people were already frisky outside on the shore promenade when he put on was ready.
A light and robust platearmor has hidden under his tunic, a dagger in his boot. The blade he carried with him wasn’t a dull ritualblade, it was a sharp sword. He left his room confident. He was prepared for his brother.

“Ah, Lord Luranos! I’m glad you showed to up to celebrate”, The master of the Golden Fleet Company, the strongest competition his family had, welcomed him, opening his fat arms widely to show off the expensive tunic he was wearing. It didn’t impress Luranos a single bit and he moved past the fat trader without a word or even a look.
Long tables left and right, elonian wine served and consumed like water, he worked his way up towards the stage on the big xebec at the docks. On the deck there were illusions of charr and orrian heroes fighting with each other and the crowd cheered whenever a charr illusion wkittentered. Luranos stopped between the last two tables directly in front of the ship and observed.

After the Play was over and the illusions of the orrian heroes danced and sang, his tall brother stepped up to the railing of the ship.
“People of Orr, descendants of the gods themselves, I welcome you tonight to celebrate my achievements and to use my wealth to make you happy!”.
The crowd answered with loud applause and cheer.
“The people of orr are smart, wise and skilled in the arts of magic, how could one possibly fool them into a trap without them noticing? It is impossible!”.
The air thickened and electrified, without time to react, everyone was unable to move, the entire party was frozen in place, including Luranos standing in the middle.
“Now that you’re all gathered here”, Zuranos teleported himself right behind Luranos and continued his speach, the eyes of the people arround followed him, they were listening. And panicking inside.
“Now that you’re all gathered… you made it a lot easier for me to finish the job. After long years of fighting, all competition will be blown away with the snap of my fingers. You were foolish, you were stupid to even come here. You’re no orrian schollars, no wise sorceres, no skillful fighters. You’re traders and not even good at that. And today, you’re gone”.

But then anet wouldn’t be able to sell you transmutation stones, and what’s better? Happy players or money?

I’ve heard of the term “Archangelus”. I think it’s a high rank at the ASA. I think the inquest is behind all this.

I think the intention of Anet was to have believable character looks and not ridiciously ugly characters who would break the overall style of the game. They achieved that, by simply cutting out a lot of customization. Now every 5th character looks nearly identical.
