Wasted effort bruh, there won’t be new weapons in the game as that requires too much effort and it won’t be a skin either cause Anet only goes for simple and easy designs or edits of existing ones.

People have been asking for the return of bunny ears for years now, it’s not gonna happen, gaile is just leaving some posts here and there to calm the masses.

Pvp in its whole is wrong, but Anet desperately wants it to be an e-sport and thus they fiddle with it way too often, resulting in buggy/broken/unbalanced and unfair gameplay

Nightmare tower from season 1 I think? Farming those key pieces and fighting evil tybalt, since then this game has been really bland. I’ve got like 5 precursors and I just can’t be bothered to farm the same t6 junk over and over.

Lol ofcourse sales went up with that nasty pre-purchase scam going on, not that some fancy graph on a random site should be taken seriously tho.

The gemstore has too many returns of old junk and offers little original content, and what little new content we get is really awful, the outfit idea as a replacement for skins was pretty dumb too. I think people would throw their wallets at the screen if they would just put individual armour pieces on there, and not just helmets and gloves, we never got chests or pants for some reason, tho how many people would buy individual skin pieces?

And what about more hair, face, charr horns, asura ears, variations of human and norn bodies, big small, fat, skinny? For a fashion game there’s awfully little customisation going on o.o

The current gemstore is like a physical store trying to compete with the Internet. It’s just not gonna work.

You’ll never get an honest answer to this question, but it’s no secret that the current situation isn’t anything praiseworthy, it’s probably the lack of communication and proper leadership that’s making it stand out so obvious. Just make sure you’ve got your popcorn when beep hits the boop :p

Fractals are still as good as dead.

Raids are toxic.

Revenant is dead.

Elementalist is dead.

Many other classes not worth playing.

Pvp still not separated from pve.

Shatterer is a visual mess after all those skill visual effect nerfs in the name of clutter. If you’re gonna mess up this bad atleast make it an toggle option instead of removing it at one place and adding it to another :/

Gliding through 3 year old content is fun for a few minutes but not worthy of being called a big update.

Ad infinitum still not available, and will probably have an absurd collection.

Current HoT legendaries have an ridiculously high goldsink and the part on how to get your precursor into the legendary is unclear in the game.

Teamspeak is not a part of Gw2 and shouldn’t be forced upon you when joining guilds/events or raids.

There’s a serious lack of real content.

New classes, races, faces, hair, customisation would not hurt the game in one bit, I would throw my wallet at the screen just to make some more pretty charrs!

More interaction would calm the community, show us what you’re working on, explain to us why you do a thing, teach us why certain things are done a certain way, show us you still love Gw2 and not just the money it makes you.

Tldr: the update is disappointing, they all feel like downgrades.

Why even care about such miniscule thing?

I just found out about this while trying to make astralaria, which is a lousy messed up and incomplete collection on its own but holy moly when I saw all the junk needed to get that very last part down I alt+f4’d in complete disappointment, this is so absurd, there’s no legendary journey at all, or do they mean the path to the trading post and back? My interest in the new legendaries is completely gone.. I’ll stick with my cheap trading post axe thank you

Such a flawed statement, just because pro league is the most successful doesn’t mean it’s good, it just means that the rest of the game is a joke, ofc he’s gonna try to justify it, it makes the best income, pve doesn’t so they don’t put any effort into that..

They disabled stacking on a stick in the swampland fractals, that’s all they did XD the rest is still a big mess, how amazing :’)

But I don’t think tech has anything to do with this, the Gw2 engine is just ancient crap salvaged from the good old gw1 era, it’s bound to go wrong someday, Anet is just making the best out of it, adding ducktape to things usually does the job :’)

They scrapped everything tengu related years ago, just forget it, next expansion will be overhyped again and contain the exact amount of disappointment as hot. But atleast we have esports and a rehashed shatterer!

So much content in Gw2 is dead cause no one is doing it anymore, so much for mmo, single player options should be a thing, honestly it should be a massive thing, this game isn’t successful enough for everything to rely on multiplayer gameplay.

HoT is a fluke, the next expansion will probably also be a fluke, Anet had chosen a poor direction and it’s very sad

I think they want to milk Gw2 with expansions like WoW and hope to also reach the 10 year mark, who knows they might release a new original game. Probably a moba cause they really seem to crave for dem esports XD

Login and afk, even dailies have become too much of a chore really, maybe if a friend is on we poke a few world champs, and the afk again

Aside from the dailies and shard farms fractals is pretty much as dead as the dungeons are. Lvl 77 is the highest level worth doing and even that is only done once or twice. I haven’t even bothered doing them after I got unbound, adding more and higher levels won’t do much good, and the gold isn’t all that special either.

If this topic gets enough pages of positive discussion we might get an automated post from gaile saying they appreciate our feedback, and like the ideas :’)

Honestly tho this should have been added since launch seeing how many traits and sigils and whatnot there is to fiddle with. Why is this still not a thing…

Guild halls are cool and all but both the updates and insane prices have made the whole guild system useless, small guilds are dead, big guilds are just there to make profit off and fun and loyal guilds are like myths. Although Anet likes wearing rose tinted goggles and pretend everything is a-ok, the previous guild system was a lot better than what we have now. And that says a lot….

They are really stubborn about pretending that esports is successful, which it isn’t really, but splitting it might actually do it good cause the main pvp fans don’t care about pve and vice versa, but oh well, atleast we all get to suffer together
