they really haven’t said anything about having LA destroyed for china’s release. they will most likely start from the start, before LA was destroyed with every event that we’ve had in the past.

No offense but I hope the drum is never introduced bedcause it is the most annoying griefing instrument ever made to be put in a game, 10X worse than the infernal bell.
too late, they just put it in the game.. let the DRUMS of WAR COMMENCE! ( i love it)
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
I started the Drums of War while everyone was killing the boar in queensdale… it felt awesome

can i get a cow mini and a cow backpack anet?
i actually don’t understand why people want housing especially in guild wars, maybe it’s just me.
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
n_n i found three of those from running and killing scarlet’s knights
~ i rather have a small cow that lifts me up and has a jetpack
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
it’s actually quite fun on my end to see them
~ what i usually do when they’re on
me: “pssst Anet dev (i actually call them by their name instead of anet dev), give me super powers so i can fly”
them: “no”
me: " darn"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
me: " pssst, Anet dev… give me a hug"
them: “hugs”
me: “oh yeah”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
me: “pssst, Anet dev. let me get a peak of that dev menu so i can give a champ 10x my actual damage so i can feel like a super hero woman”
them: “no”
me: “darn”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
me: “pssst, Anet dev – will there be sab this year?”
them: “hey look, shadow behemoth is up”
me: “hmm…. and darn”
Obviously, I know many people worked hard for it, but to think that someone could just run a Queensdale champ train for 4 hours a day for a month or two and then just buy a legendary speaks volumes about how the system doesn’t quite work.
there is absolutely no way you can run a queensdale champ train for months and have enough for a legendary. that train is only good for exp for low levels, rng 1g exotics, and a few t4/5 mats. it would take almost 1-2 years to get enough gold from that horrible loot from that train.
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
i highly dis-advise anet doing this, not only i have a bought several 8k gems for personal use to buy quite a few gem items. though in giving a discount to those that do buy 8k could convert it to gold to buy any legendary super quick.
either work for your legendary or waste about $400.00+ from converting gems to gold to deter people from buying them outright.
how about posting your mount ideas in those other mount threads instead of making new ones.
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
So with the new 50% off the game at the moment i told someone i know to pick up guild wars 2 he did so and loves it all good so far, How ever when he told me he got the DIGITAL DELUXE EDITION of the game i was like yeah so did i now i got it at launch.
Now here is my issue with his digital edition he gotSuit of Legacy Armor*
Mithril Box*
10 Experience Boosters*
Summon Mistfire Wolf Elite Skill*
Miniature Rytlock*.
Golem Banker*
Chalice of Glory*
Tome of Influence*
Now i got for twice the price and on launch daySummon Mistfire Wolf Elite Skill
Miniature Rytlock
Golem Banker*
Tome of Influence*Now i know that the extras that have been added are to get more people playing and that is great but we the players that have been playing from the start should we not also get the extras as well?
actually, i also bought the digital deluxe version of the game before launch and i also received everything listed except two additional items that they put in:
Suit of Legacy Armor
Mithril Box
are new to the deluxe version
there is simply no point in having a mount, besides waypoints being used the majority of players have certain skills that let the player move way faster than a mount ever could.
would i want a mount? ~ only if it’s a cow or a quaggan
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
it sucks? really? ~ i thoroughly enjoy it. ~ i also beat the enemy quite quickly.
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
running dungeons to get the enough tokens to purchase their gear ~ log out and in again with a different toon (do a ton of crafting) forget to log back in with the right toon that i wanted to get the armor piece, so i bought the armor with wrong toon. logged in and out with the right one only to find that the gear i wanted is soul bound to the wrong toon ……. -_- sad cow.
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
sure, it can be great for a lot of things ~ though i see the majority of players will be using this as a means to spam, promote guilds, selling things outside the tp, other useless things. i see this more on the cons side that pro, sorry.
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
having low level areas for only low leveled Won’t Ever happen, there are tons of players that have a few lvl 80 toons who have yet to complete low level maps. i have a few myself that have yet to complete low level map completion. Why? well because not only have i already done it with a few of my other 80 toons and it’s boring, though i would like the option to revisit those areas. i also have lvl 60+ toons that still have to do their story instances in those low level areas, so do tons of other people.
having high leveled player in low level areas will always be there. while i do agree that certain people in chat get rather crazy over these trains (whining, rude, and just people being people) you always have the option to block these people from chat. besides the horrible loot you get from high level places, there’s no real big incentive to stay there. so these low level trains will stay.
~ these trains are also a great way to level up and to get mats
2. Learn to flip the TP -> Make 10k-20k gold a month -> buy what you want
where are these people?.. i need to talk to them
the loot from champs wasn’t always so bad, they did get nerfed quite badly. since world bosses would now be scaled up quite a bit, we do expect better loot from them though i still doubt that.
i was also really hoping for Sab, my girl and i were really looking forward to it. though do to the high frustrations and whining over last years Sab, i wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t do it this year.
~ and as awesome as it was that Lord Vanquish was communicating with the fans of Sab and talking to the community, he’s been told to stay quiet which is quite a shame. he was one of the few devs out there that actually communicated.
What is a “Glowing Mask”???
it’s the new skin helm that goes on your players face 500 gems. it’s a mask with glowing eyes, it’s quite nice.
If you can’t find humor in this, then there’s something wrong with you. the dev team decided to entertain us with someone funny, yet those people who complain constantly over such trivial things shouldn’t play until these minor event is over. yes, there such always be an option though this won’t last at all ~ since there’s no point in telling you to just enjoy it ~ then don’t play the game until then. quit being mad and get over it.
hahah this is the best thread man if u laught from stupid things it doesnt mean that others should do so and I would say if u think that stupid things are funny, so maby u have problems not me the only thing most of others said, that why not to make an option for those who dont like it to tunr it of? And if therer would be such option, i bet 80% of heads would be switch off !
i can’t even understand you….
i’m surprised that they’re still in game, i haven’t seen a gold bot seller in almost 8 months.
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
i wasn’t sure if the entire post was sarcastic…
champ train exploit? please explain ~ one champ dies, you go to another champ on the map that spawned and kill it too, then another one spawns, and you do the same. these are map events meant for people to do. it’s a great way to level up and collect materials along the way. besides the useless nerf that they already gave the first time for the bag loot, they will again nerf the loot again along with the champs. ~ nerf useless nerfs ~
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
this is one of the silliest things to nerf, ~ we barely make any copper from these champ loot. a few of you stated that people farm this event for the gold.. it’s impossible to farm gold from these events without obtaining the other items in the champ loot. t5 mats, rng exotics, and leveling toons are what people do these events for. taking the very few copper that we get now (since it’s already been nerffed horribly) it’s just ridiculous. the quantity of the mats, ores, and other items obtainable from these loot bags should be increased.
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
rip ~ town clothes, i also loved to mix and match. why Anet why…?
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
As a person that has been playing since closed beta and still doesn’t have a legendary… thank you. i have enough for 7 eternity atm, though i rather still craft my first one ~ it goes from leveling my other toons, doing dungeons, doing world events, and gathering materials. i get side tracked way too quickly and easily, so thanks to for making legendary weapons account bound.
I mentioned that as part of my Hand health features suggestion:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Hand-health-features/first#post3783636
Please have a look if you have any ideas on how to reduce stress in our hands while playing.
We really need to reduce the clickety-click in this game.
We don’t “need” customizations, or skins, or new skins, that’s just nice things to have. But keeping our hands healthy? That’s a must. We need them hands for many stuff, all of which have their merits.
oh ok, great ~ i didn’t notice your thread. thank you, a merge would be nice
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
there are certain items that require endless clicking, essence of luck for one. i know you can go to artificer and shorten the amount of clicking that you have to do. though, there really should be this option for these kind of items.
Despite the amount of sunk in gold for getting those dyes and not receiving them as duplicates when the update goes live. though, we’ll be receiving them as just unidentified dyes instead is a little unpleasant. i am though quite more overjoyed that i won’t be having to buy the same dye’s anymore time and time again.
what is silly is that unidentified dyes won’t drop anymore ~ they do drop from mobs, though quite barely. there’s no reason to take them off the drop list. how about raising the percentage of keys instead since they don’t drop at all. i’ve had better luck with getting a precursor from random mob instead of getting keys.
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
i absolutely love my ranger, i’ve taken down tanky geared people quite often in WvW ~ when i used to play just to lvl since i actually hate WvW – though that’s not the point >.<
i switch to great sword/sword/horn – longbow/great sword – sword/horn – short bow
etc… the thing is i switch weapons when they need to be switched. though as some have mentioned having the pet separate from the ranger is just sometimes a must. while my pet sometimes lags behind, if it gets hit i automatically get slow.. i absolutely hate that.
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
well, yeah, you need that gift of blades to make your exotic backpack into an ascended one. but that’s not why thy told us to keep the shards. We keep the shards to turn in to some future merchant for some unknown loot.
i know about the future merchant coming and i know that’s not why they told us to keep it. though, as far as i know the gift of blades recipe is the only one that actually require blade shards.
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
not sure if someone already posted this… please merge if they have.
so i was looking though my crafting recipes to see the things i could craft and sell though i noticed that i could craft ~ Gift of Blades ~ with blade shards.
Blade Shards: 250
Elonian Leather Square: 15
Pile of Crystalline Dust: 10
Watchwork Mechanism: 1
i guess that’s why they didn’t want us to delete them, i’m sure more recipes will involve blade shards being a part of it.
i’ve played ESO – it was painful, it’s even worse when i saw that it was for a monthly subs fee… no thank you. though good luck to those that do enjoy it and like it.
i’ll stay here. leveling toons, doing world bosses, and dungeons. like we used to play before they changed to bi-weekly updates.
not only was she the captain for the red night with the heal-o-tron, though she also rez’d as many dead/downed players as she could with the heal-o-tron during the knights fight and scarlet’s holo fight.
Blade shards and found belongings - really?
in Battle for Lion’s Arch - Aftermath
there was a topic about people deleting their shards ~ Anet responded by saying not to delete them because they were be used for something else.
i managed to craft back piece quite quickly when the event was on though i wasn’t sure if i should delete the extra shards. Anet has been known to add rewards/things to the game when we get more than enough of the same items through these events. i knew not to delete them. ~ glad i saw the thread when i did and i’ve been saving them since then ~
though you shouldn’t be too upset since it’s your fault for not turning in your items, you had more than enough time and it only takes a a minute or two to turn them in.
- level an alt with this event.
- do other things.
entirely up to you
I have levelled 3 alts to 80 from level 20
Even tho I’ve only gotten greens from the holo chest every time it’s been (mostly) fun
i agree, i managed to level up two alts to 80. though i’ve been more than lucky on the rewards from the chest, it has been fun.
that’s actually a good question:
i’ve never tried it, though i’m pretty sure you would have to remake the spinal back piece in order to get those other colors. i shall check tomorrow.He is correct.
she* :P
so i did try it and it doesn’t work, you really need to create another back piece in order to get that other color.
So how do we all rate the end of LS season 1
in Battle for Lion’s Arch - Aftermath
Posted by: Klonex.4562
i give it a 7.8
sure there were bugs and a couple of game breaking glitches. though they patch them pretty quickly. i enjoyed scarlet and her tricks throughout a lot of these events even though people don’t like her at all, i did enjoy her.
~ I taught cows how to Moo! ~
wow, as much as i would have enjoyed seeing that and participating in that event. i have to admit it’s quite funny seeing 1 lonely mender do so much healing on a knight. this is why i only stick to the red knight.
its not botting to afk.
It IS botting. I’ve seen players in the Scarlet fight afking without wearing armor and die constantly. Then other players waste time ressing them and getting themselves killed. Are these afk/leechers not getting rewards? Their toons are getting rewards without player intervention how’s that NOT botting?
If you ever see afk/leechers just report them and hope anet does something about it.
sorry to say, though you may not understand botting at all. botting is when someone uses an external program to do or make certain things happen. the person standing around without any armor isn’t botting, they’re leaching off of the event. that’s why they’re afk. if they were botting from the event they would most like stand in the back and use a program to dodge the lightning from time to time or just dodge around like crazy like a chicken with it’s head cut off >.<
