Luckily for Anet and it’s Gem store, ESO isn’t out until next year (and now they seem to be aiming for a subscription fee, less likely to get so many switching over).

as much as i’ve spent on the game (which i don’t mind because it been great and fun for me) though if subscription fee’s do start, i will definitely be one of the many first people to just leave..

these predictions/problems now are what a ton of people said would happen way before the patch went live. you’re quite late on it, though i do still agree with a lot of these problems. this is still an mmo, all mmo’s require grinding in order to get good things, and teq’s loot is slightly better than what it was before. for me, it’s really not worth doing over and over again.

as a fellow FC home world person, i completely agree. the server does say that it’s highly populated though during the event i could see an estimate of roughly 30 to 40 people trying to do this. i just went off in search of a server to guest on… BG

Not to worry, after two weeks no one will be fighting Tequatl, everyone will be off completing the next living story and it will be impossible to achieve the required number of players to fight him.

this is exactly the problem, that why people tend to do events like this super fast. after a little while people loose interest and get so much harder to find people to do this with. people have found out that if they don’t do new events ~ such as this one ~ or other ones down the line super fast, then it’s just frustrating as heck to go out and find people for it.

most servers won’t listen to strategies or can’t play with well others, so unfortunately most servers will end up giving up rather quickly. that’s why i’m guesting, not only will you (maybe) have a better chance to win, though the mentality of that group can be better towards this fight. people tend to do things like ~ achievements, things from new patches, bosses, dungeons, and other things ~ super quick because in the following days people lose interest in great content like this quite fast. people say “it’s only the first day” in which i completely agree, though it gets super hard to find people later on to do these events with.

great, he’s an awesome guy. it’s good that he was able to participate and kill him. from now on when new content involving a timer or something that is rather hard to do.. i’m guesting on blackgate. my server is way unorganized to do events like these.. heck, i might just transfer.

i also agree, i know this is only the first day. though people scramble like crazy to do things on the first week. after this, the place becomes a ghost town. quite a shame too, it’s great that he’s harder to fight but with only a few servers out there that will eventually kill him later on other servers won’t even try this event anymore. it’s also a shame that i have to guest on other servers to attempt this, people on my server are too unorganized to get him down to 90% of his life, they’ll give up on him after two or three days max.

no no, you’re doing it wrong. you have to blow kisses to teq every 25% HP that is drained. he’ll then just get mad until he shrinks and appears in the chest.

you loot everything first, then look at how many things you managed to get while the timer is counting down. the timer for world 1 zone 1 is a bit short though i think it’s perfect, it’s entirely your fault for not looting the chest. if you ever care to do this mode again then message me, i’ll be more than happy to run this mode with you or anyone else.

Josh is a great person, even more amazing for being to respond towards the problems/bugs/fixes for this patch. these people on here that complain about every little thing (tribulation mode being hard) – (can’t jump on the water jets because it goes down too fast or it’s too hard) – ( why can’t i have this and that for doing things) are usually the ones get the devs responsible for this great patch in trouble, so a lot of unnecessary changes are made to the content. in no way was this content a failure or a disappointment towards the people who have played and enjoy SAB. devs should be able to post and respond toward their audience and not be blocked off by the company. having a great relationship with the consumer will have a better impact towards the company, this is just silly on their part. people should also not post his blog, it will more likely get him into more trouble or maybe something else that would be bad.

we should get unlimited backpack space or at least get as many backpack expander as we want. with so many updates coming out and more things going up on the gem store that people buy, it’s quite silly (putting it nicely) that there’s a limit.

it was actually fixed, i know it was because i did it a few days ago and it actually worked. unless having to do it 23 times before it counted did the trick >.<

you should have known of the countdown counting towards your achievement when finishing world 1 zone 1 (aside from the various of threads on here about it) though yes, you have to wait until the countdown is over with. not all achievements do this. so just to be safe, always let it countdown.

1-1 you can cut some time after the last checkpoint by running along the ground just to the right of the row of trees. The whole length of ground there is solid and untrapped, so you save a couple of jumps (which are slower than running)

i was going to say, if they updated the chest for taq then i’m pretty sure they did they same for the other bosses too. though, with anet, you really can’t tell until they actually mention it. so yes, i’ll agree with him.

it does look pretty light, even if you don’t like the upcoming content at least give it a try. i for one don’t care at all for WvW though i do tend to give it a try from time to time. with the upcoming seasonal event, i’ll definitely give it a shot. things might seem disappointing though try out the world bosses again with WvW mixed in. these updates can’t all be about the story, have some fun.

I got 2-1 yesterday. I don’t think there was a hotfix that has changed that.
Maybe you just missed a bauble, that’s even possible when you’re using a guide.

i’ve ran it more than 10 times, 2 times each with different completion guides (in case the guide missed one, which is weird because i see them get the achievement. so i know i didn’t miss any) i never got the achievement. a lot of people are also having problems with it. i’ve also ran it several times today, i still don’t have it.

edit: i got it this time… 23rd times the charm i guess, they must have fixed it.

i know world 2 gets you the yellow weapons skins, though i just absolutely love the color green so i’ve been running world 1 in TM quite often.

i also have a couple of yellow skins, they’re nice.

yup, i’m pretty sure we all know that after getting all the baubles we have to kill the boss to get the achievement. though for some reason it’s not giving the achievement to quite a few of us.

i knew i would end up dieing a lot in tribulation mode, so i also bought one. i do wish i could trade or email my normal continue coins to people who need them.

yeah, i ran it twice today. i also didn’t get it.

world 1 zone 3 – getting the achievement for all the baubles there is still bugged, without it i can’t complete the meta.

that’s why there’s an easy mode, how can people not complete it normal mode. sure, it’s a bit tough in some parts though that’s where the fun is, that’s where a bit of strategy comes into play, that’s where planning how to proceed through the level comes in. as bad as a player that i am, i was able to finish word 1 and 2 with a few deaths here and there alone. quit complaining over something so simple. if you’re having that bad of a time then don’t do the event, i’ll even help you go through it if you really want to though just can’t.
the dev team made it even easier on the places that’s suppose to be extra fun and a little hard.

my only single complaint about this is that the continue coins can’t be tradeable, i would have loved to give a couple of them to the people that tend to run out of them.

shame, it was perfect the way it was before the patch.

this happened today to me too, the gong right before the polar bear boss (i think it’s a polar bear) i got stuck in the log, good thing i was able to get the check point and i was in a party. i got out by re-logging into the game.

yes, the rest of the zones are connected though because you’re still zone 1 the other zones don’t have their music loaded/playing when you get under the level

Thinking outside the box for tribulation made me go outside the box, of course i tried this in the normal map so it wouldn’t have so many traps. i have also yet to go to the end of the map and see if i can get there by going up this way.. lots of traps avoided >.<

i saw the continue room and a couple of random items under the map like the friendly alligator and a couple of sets of tables (i tried flipping one, it wouldn’t work – i have table insurance so don’t worry) then after going here and there i found myself under/under the map.

this led me to hopefully ask the dev team to think about a few under water levels.

yup yup, i got mine too. i did with my ranger (sylvari) though since my guardian (asura) is almost in level 80, i ended up crafting the great sword for her.

you shouldn’t even try this as a ranger, i tried farming him to somewhat of a success. between thieves and guardians, farming him as a ranger is so much slower. i farmed him for about 1 1/2hours – i honestly don’t how people can just stay there for more than 2 hours (made about 14 gold) seeing thieves and guardians take half the time i took to take him down was even more daunting to stay there even longer. after that, i really couldn’t just stay there.. i needed/wanted to do something else.

i absolutely hope not, even though i did this with 70+ attempts and finally did it. the feeling was absolutely great, the reward of getting the mini is well deserved. people should not be getting this mini at all is they didn’t beat her. yes, she’s annoying though i highly suggest watching a few vids of your class beating her along with changing your build/armor and weapons in order to make things easier for you. ~ i’ll even go to your server to revive you for about 2 hours and suggest a few things if you’re up to it.

i can’t farm this because i main ranger and it’s my only lvl 80 class with decent gear, but even i don’t care about the people who did/continue to do this. i’ve made a hefty 40+g (plus more to come) by killing the champions from time to time and of course from all of the great crafting things that they drop. just let this "deadeye farm nerf* thing die…

it’s a rare bug, i’ve tried this numerous times when i was starting out in the gauntlet. even if by some miracle you do stay in when the floor gives away, the npc should completely vanish if you don’t do it in time.

i’ve also witnessed two players go in the gauntlet. when the person dies inside and the next person is up and he/she suddenly enters quickly leaving both sometimes inside or what happens is that the dead player gets out but the person next up has nothing to fight at all. he/she has had to log out and log back in to fix it because clicking on the waypoint to get you out wont work (it’s congested) by what they’ve told me.

i’ve also seen unintentional bosses staying in the arena when the player that went up failed. this usually happens with subject 7, i’ve had my share of fighting subject 7 with liadri and other bosses. it’s quite funny to watch and participate in though the player goes down extremely quick.

Worst update ever. All in my guilds are saying a normal player cannot do this, and I agree. Fortunatly Anet stated GW2 was for casual players….woooooot!?!?!?

a casual player will NEVER do this. most of hardcore games too are having serious problems.

i think you guys are actually worse than casual players. as a player that started GW2 in close beta and only have 2.8k achievement points with only about 52% of map completion at this point of the game. i know i’m below the average casual player though i tried her myself and after 80+ tries i did manage to beat her with mildly decent gear. a TON of casual players have tried her with only a couple that have won.

there’s no reason to nerf her at all, she’s annoying to deal with though it’s very possible to beat.

i used the barrage aoe for the orbs during the first phase. i also went in a counter clock-wise rotation during her second phase and didn’t even bother with orbs during the second phase, i used point blank shot to get her away from me from time to time and switch to my short bow for a short burst of movement speed and to cripple and daze her for a bit, switched back to my long bow to shoot her away again and rapid fire.

- her cripple attack is just so annoying

- i decided to take a huge gamble during the second phase of her fight and not bother targeting those orbs because they’re a waste of time trying to get, her clones are always in the way, and you sometimes attack her clones instead of her.

- those orbs did pull me in during the second phase twice and under those shadow orbs that come down and instant kill you, though you can always just dodge out of the way the second you get back up from the pull of the orbs.

as annoying and frustrating as she was, it was absolutely worth it. i know you can’t sell the mini (wouldn’t want to) – my hands are still a bit shakey from the fight. i haven’t had that happen in a long long time, grateful for that.

• i can also honestly say: “screw going for that 8 orb achievement, i’m never fighting against her again” and i’ll definitely salute to those players that attempt and get it.

at least you’re with a the last boss, try getting to her with a ranger.

as much as i love my ranger, i wish i could go back to when i created her. events such as these which i also love require other classes in order to beat (well, trying to beat it with them) or at least having a bit more time with my ranger.

they mentioned either getting scraps or the claim ticket, you’re the one to blame for opening them.

will the skins be tradeable? if so, there will be tons of people stockpiling. even if they do sell them, they won’t be worth much for quite a while.

although my asura can hide under the skirt of char’s armor when i’m scared. i’m voting for Kiel.
