I’m got to 200 something on Tpvp also doing solo joins before solo queue. This pic was just to point out Im fighting the best this game PvP has to offer and its all poor quality foes. Much better players in WvW GvG/duel side of the game.

I just get annoyed when commenting on PvP some low rated kid calls WvW all zergers when in reality WvW population is so much larger then PvP that a sub culture GvG community is full of better players then PvP.

PvP conquest is fail its a dead game mode it will never be esport EVER, but Anet still tries to revive it and is killing the other game mode GvG in a bid to pull players back into PvP. Not going to happen.. Even deathmatch with PvP amulet only stats would be too little it would die out in a few months due to limited options.

the whole system and the whole “structure” of pvp should be reworked and redesigned… less grind, more rewards. of course you look for alternative ways to farm glory when you need 75k only for one level and chests from tournament give you 150.

so many ideas and so many things they could do… sadly they don’t give a kitten :/

Sorry, but a well-played P/D thief is kitten near unkillable. Maybe they don’t fill an obvious roll in a 5v5 setup, but when you have all the tools to roll through waves of opponents, taking on multiple at a time…I kinda feel like there’s always a role for that on any team.

I think it’s intended to help hs spamming thieves since their build is so hard to play…you can just press 2 fifteen times regardless of timing always getting a nice smooth hs spam now….and then you die obviously…they just want to level their skill cap with sbow rangers who don’t have to press buttons at all….

the fact is that this kittening mechanic should not even exist in an MMORPG. For god’s sake, this is not an FPS game, I can’t decide where to shoot, I just target a player and use my skill

dueling is useless when you face classes/build that you will never kill in a duel, such as glass cannon thief vs bunker guardian, non sense.

Every thief rails against these silly personal anecdotes /w screenshot when they’re used to “point out how OP thieves are” with some giant backstab crit. The blade cuts both ways – this personal experience does little to prove “how bad thieves are”. While I’d love alot more spec diversity on my thief, they currently have at least 2 TPvP effective builds – they’re not the best in game, but they work enough to be a valuable member of the team.

2 Viable specs is what most classes boast at the moment – sure, thieves could be better, but at least we’re not warriors.

there is only 1 viable build for thieves…. just to say.

another question: can you get laurels from both pve and pvp dailies?

ele and thief are 2 profession with lowest hp, ofc they need just a lil bit more mobility/survival oriented downed state…

as devs said, you must look at it from a team view, not from your own selfish view… from team view, thief and ele are useless in downed state, they just can evade 1 stomp and get a bit away from that place… but engineer got pull, which can save him or even his mate, next is aoe pushback, very good for team if you last on ground long enough… guardian even better, aoe pushback imediately after downed… etc… this is team game, not 1v1, some downed states are better then other in one aspect, but not in another aspect…

if you left in October the only real changes that have happened are a few balance changes.

we are obviously playing another game…

main change is that tournaments were changed to only 1 round, no more waiting to the death…

second is we have some kind of invisible rating and tournament matches are no longer purely random, so at least my games are mainly balanced…

invisibile leaderboard is a point of interest too, but question is, how working it really is? because only thing we have got is information that it is in the background and not visible for now, nothing else…

You said you needed a week for making leaderboards visible. Well, 9 days have passed and there is not even a clue of how the work is going, you just keep saying “soon/when it’s ready/blahblahblah”, but people are getting angry (and you saw it from the forum spam today), so please, do us a favor and tell us when you are going to release leaderboards, or if you are having technical issues or whatever. Just make us know, a lot of people are still playing the game just because of this stupid leaderboards, we are already frustrated enough, come on.
