with reaper runes, you can get up to 12 more bleeds than without them. (factoring in that one shout is replaced by BiP for max bleedz)
Bleeding duration or condi dmg increasing runes should still end up with way more bleed dmg.
Our shroud gains are static. Due to this, we dont get shroud back fast enough to sustain ourselves in PvP, where enemies do ten times as much damage as enemies in PvE. Our defense mechanic is based on PvE, where it’s good enough to avoid the damage we would take without it.
In PvP, the enemy damage is absurdly high and easily gets past it because we dont generate more for how much dmg we take.
If we had a static 6k shroud for example, the mobs in PvE wouldnt get past us. The 30k dps dudes in PvP would break it incredibly easily. This is exactly the issue necros have and the root of the devs immense difficulty with balancing us- just in more easy to understand text.
So, the suggestion here is to make it scale accordingly so we dont die too fast or slowly anymore unlike how we die too slowly in pve n too fast in pvp rn. That way, everyone wins. So, as the first comment said..

if you chose the wrong one, wait a (real) day, visit the pale tree in the omphalos chamber, then find ridhais in your home instance. Throw your caladbolg form and 1000 unbound magic at her, choose the other wrong one. rinse and repeat until you cycled through all of them and got the one you want. Now you have the original caladbolg skin and the 5 ascended skins, one of them being your ascended weapon.
they’re probably gonna throw an ICD at it soon and make it worthless like chilling darkness.
Btw what is meant with “passive trait”? all traits are passive.
Before the deathly chill buff, i had to press about thrice as many buttons to get about 3/4 of what DS 5-4 does now.

It’s insane. Before the patch, i had a bit of a struggle getting to 7k bleeding dmg on a single enemy. Now, i can literally press 2 buttons and do twice as much.
Character select your way into a new instance.
Unless protection starts giving 100% damage resistance and cleanses return all power damage dealt within the last X seconds, condis are at a disadvantage. If condis get nerfed, power should, too.
Note that condi users need precision to trigger on crit traits/sigs for a big chunk of DPS. Ferocity is just a thing to make power be better than condis DPS-wise, when not counting in cleanses and resistance.

just stand outside the centaur camp and watch the very top of the tower. Keep going back to character select and then to your character to switch instances.
If there’s a nasty bloodstone shroud at the tower, the Harathi High Sage is chillin up there. When you spot that, start a squad in LFG and run up there with everyone. Attack the sage and the event starts, i think.

PvE: Necros never die. We’re gods.
PvP: Needs a good team to do well; you won’t be able to carry with Necro. You should be able to beat most classes with the right skills&build, but generally we aren’t too good.
If you’re ignored and your team isnt all glass cannons, you can wreck a teamfight with epidemic and all the boon corrupt.
Raids: Sometimes taken for the condi dmg. No real worthwhile purpose or buffs, so very stingy people will send you away. In some raids, epidemic is awesome though, so groups doing those raids will likely be OK with a necro in the squad.
WvW: I don’t know. Some say epidemic is incredibly overpowered here though, and i believe it since i’ve used epi in pvp a lot and that tends to kill all enemies within about 3 seconds.
(Epidemic copies up to 25 of every condition from one target to 4 foes around the target.)
Having condi dmg and normal dmg be two seperate things is fine, i don’t see why anyone wants it gone. Power builds can inflict conditions too, so “they’re op because they have side effects” is no valid reason. Condis are good against a toughness tanks, in which case it’s the one counter. if there was no condi dmg stat, toughness tanks would take far too long to kill- or take forever. Vitality tanks on the other hand, get to use heals which dont fully heal them, but die a lot slower to conditions so they can kill a condi user, so that’s balanced already.
There is no reason to turn condis into power-based DoT, except to buff their DPS- and consequently wreck every level 80 ascended condition dude and make toughness tanks the unquestioned gods of survival.
Also, cleanses exist, so condi damage’s strengths and weaknesses are amplified.

Yes, people who don’t buy the game will likely remain at a disadvantage.
And older players who only bought the core game and ended up having to pay twice, so they could get HoT, too. And everyone who has HoT and has to pay again for the next xpac. This system should really be changed..
I’d hate to see mounts in this game.
But I think it’d be OK to ride Aurene in some big story related fight once.

And Belinda’s greatsword skin- i never even knew it existed, but after seeing it on the wiki.. pls gib. I don’t know of any other katana greatswords, and it reminds me of Kamina so i’d do anythig to get that.
New players don’t make legendaries though,
and legendaries are supposed to be hard to make; this DOES include the process of unlocking everything to male them.
If you want the hurdles to be removed, you might as well go all out and ask anet to sell legendaries for 200k karma.
i hope condi warr gets a bit of a nerf.

This, really. We need a general buff, not an epi buff to be viable in raids.
i don’t understand why people would leave or never get a gemstore thing just for not liking the expansion. If ya don’t like it why not just stick to the core maps or just not get HoT? they’re not forcing you to get it.
I’d like see a new way to delete items in your inventory that doesnt come with a ‘are you sure?’ box to save time + the marked as junk idea.
This way the world doesnt run out of minor sigils & runes and we don’t have to take an hour to delete all of them while salvaging our stuff.

If you need to go fast the sigil of speed has your back. Just kill a few random white mantle dudes and voila u got 3 minutes of swiftness.
After killing them we take all the hide launched off of them by to the laser/sword/arrow massacre from the ground.
(good) necro beats most classes except DH(just harder) and warrior.
To de dude who said ranger beats necro, you haven’t seen one using cpc.
I enjoyed the new episode and immediately got map completion and the mastery achievement. It was a bit short, but overlooking that, i only had one issue.
Why is the caudecus mask so much easier to get than the white mantle elite guard mask, when the caudecus mask is more detailed? It would make a lot more sense if these items were switched.
+i agree with a previous post: stop the powercreep. A white mantle lackey is a more potent mesmer than THE PACT COMMANDER can ever hope to be?
Lastly, why is saul d’allesio so tall? And sabetha?

It looks like a pretty cool albeit near-useless stat combo.
I can’t really see what it would be useful for, but at the same time having condi dmg and concentration in one stat set is something i was looking for.
Btw, for anyone trying to get mender’s in PvE:
Wear Zealot armor, a zealot amulet, and the rest of the trinkets Clerics. That way you’ll have mender’s (but the vitality is toughness)

DS is empty because everyone is on one or two maps and to get on those you have to join their squads a while before the meta. DS is just one big meta event.
the strongest breakbar breaker available to us would be flesh golem. So to break a breakbar:GS 5, 0, F1, 3 3, 5, (4)
golem’s cripple spam plus our chills also makes sure the breakbar stays as low as you got it.

This isnt a problem with GS or reaper. The title is misleading. Anyways, we have lower dps because we have 32k hp without vitality, and the dude working on this class thinks that makes it OK to give us near-garbage dps in PvE.
the problem with DHs is that their traps aren’t traps, but perfect wells. these traps are activated when someone is in them at any time instead of when someone enters them.
warrior is much more of a problem though, with their 9+ seconds of invulnerability with no counter besides running away or 2v1
A fix to charr tail clipping. Too many times have i seen a cool set of pants that would fit awesomely with the rest of my gear, then i spin my character around and… theres a spooky tail waving around, clipping right through the pants, making it ugly. This limits charr armor sets a hell of a lot.
in pvp you’ll probably get about 2 hits in before they escape your range.
I’m using GS in a condi build for whirl finisher spam and chilling darkness with deathly chill. Works pretty well.

depends entirely on the person. i recommend making a bunch of characters with different professions and taking the one you like most.
race doesnt really matter, but for fun starting areas i’d geuss charr or asura.

epidemic on downed targeted enemy in pvp xD
necro is very nice in pvp and fractals. Dungeons are too easy to care about which classes are in, but raids are the one place where you have a 1/50 chance of not being welcome.
just add a few more grand chests so people dont ignore ab completely after the update pls.
