And then people will go to the next efficient build/stat set, and the ‘problem’ will repeat itself. Basically what you are wanting is to ruin someones fun to give another person fun.
A higher level cap won’t change any of that though. It will just go back to that as soon as people reach the new level cap.
wow, alot of people really dont want anything to happen to their precious ascended gear o.o…….I got some ascended, would like to see the level cap aswell, honestly dont want to run throug it all without any reason what so ever, what is the point of having new maps if already are level capped? people will just try to run them as fast as they can….
PLEASE A-NET lvl cap raise…………
If people don’t want to do the new maps, they won’t do them anyway? They will just use level tomes or run EotM. Also, Silverwastes and Drytop are level-cap zones. And yet people go there. Even in other MMOs like WoW that have frequent level cap raising, many people just run old dungeons together to speed level to the new max.
People run zerker builds because it’s usually the most efficient way of doing the content. Removing zerker from the meta would just make a different build become the meta, so the meta does not just disappear. If you wish to run different builds, it’s pretty easy to make your own LFG party saying what you want. There are also some guilds out there which are dedicated to not-skipping mobs and running any build you want.
If you want to run non-zerker builds in a dungeon, just list that in LFG or join a guild of like-minded people.
The ascended crafting materials have a chance to be the most profitable, if you get the 2 damask bolts. Laurels is definitely the safest choice though.

How about we actually keep the discussions on the actual topic, yes?
Leveling as an arbitrary sense of progress has outlived its purpose. I’d agree that they should do away with levels altogether.
That would require even more work than just decreasing levels.
New megaserver maps are made when the server feels the current ones are at a comfortable population. Which megaservers you get put in is influenced by the server you’re on, the guild you’re in, and people on your friends list.
Edit: Yes, which server you’re on also includes guesting.

Nice to know you’re only here to attempt to argue with people, then.
Legitimately laughed at this. +1
As with every mmo out there, a level increase would make perfect sense, if a genuine expansion is on its way. For anyone who still believes GW2 is a special snowflake…well, time to wake up.
And yet, a lot of people get annoyed when level cap increases even in those mmos, even when they expect it, because it makes all the gear they spent ages trying to get meaningless because it’s instantly replaced with quest reward gear.
It’s funny how people change their tune after a member of Anet staff posts.
In my opinion, famous NPCs shouldn’t have their armors available (as well as other styles such as hair and weapons), because they should remain unique. It’s just my opinion though.
The amount of Scarlet Briars I have seen… ugh.
Every dungeon and zone would require an overhaul. The downscaling system doesn’t quite cut it for something of this magnitude.
While it’s a nice idea, this would require quite a large overhaul of pretty much the entire game, and the payoff isn’t really big enough to justify it.
What would it be for males though? Outfits and armor skins are, after all, not gender exclusive.
How would they be activated, if tricks/traps pull supply directly from yourself, and the absolute maximum you can carry is 20?
This topic has been beaten to death with a stick so much. You can make endgame content without adding in more artificial progression, y’know?
I’ve lost count how many times I have seen people fall off the airships in Arah story mode. Was even worse at launch, most people were not even able to complete it.
People often think something is nerfed when RNG doesn’t favour them though.
Are you sure it’s not just RNG, like it pretty much always is?
Why would they ever buff them, if they’ve been nerfed multiple times?
This really seems like it’s something that is much better in a game dedicated to it, which there is already some of.
It’s simply evolution of the game. Does it serve a purpose? I think not. As for me Anet may reset the original gameworld after every season, While keeping the new maps. Is it important?
Where would you get that idea? There hasn’t been any indication that it would be reset to how it was originally. (also that would just be incredibly lazy and not make any sense)
Absolutely no to raids.
I would expect there would be significant changes to WvW and significant additions to PvP.
As for PvE, new maps definitely. New heavy class. New playable race. With the sylvari being turned on, I can see the tengu here. New dungeons. etc.
You know they hired a raid designer right? lol
Gw2s raids are stuff like Vinewrath, Triple Trouble and Teq.
I really like the new tracks composed by Leif Chapelle and Maclaine Diemer, they’re very nice to listen to. I havn’t listened to my own music over GW2’s in ages.
Collectable hats.
Don’t worry, there’s always esports!
The unopened endless mystery tonics seem to be the only ones that actually say they become account-bound on use.
It’s Trahearne. Marjory and Trahearne are more intimate than people know! Oh, what would Kasmeer think!
Because constantly playing against the same copy paste builds tends to get a bit boring.
So that I can have even more armor sets cluttering up my inventory and bank?
If you have no bank space, and you buy more gear, regardless of the currency, that is your problem for making the bad decision. Why anyone would imply that we should not get rewards for badges simply because purchasing it, would clutter their bank, is beyond me.
Because having WvW only armor is rather pointless. The current ones are okay as is, there just needs to be a better way of removing the runes and sigils.
The launch upwards isn’t treated as a traditional CC by the game, thus it is not affected by stability.
You also have to consider what would actually work in gw2, though. Some of these hairstyles could end up looking very ugly in-game.
Many of the living story instances scale to accommodate the group, too.
Eh, i’ve never really understood why people think that because Charr are felines, that they must have every feline characteristic. Going by regular rules of anthromorphic DNA ratios, the number of characteristics stems from how humanoid the anthromorphic race is.
What are anthromorphic DNA ratios? I googled it and didn’t find that term.
If you are talking about fantasy creatures, it’s whatever the lore says it is.
It’s more akin to the furry fandom, which Charr ultimately fall into, being an anthromorph in a fantasy world. You are right it is whatever the lore says it is though, so people saying that something has to be anatomically correct certainly doesn’t apply.
Try telling that to Oola.
Yeah. Just report them for scamming, spamming, and GM impersonation.

Datamined charr female textures don’t even seem to have nips.
For those saying Charr have 6 nips, should go play CoF story again and/or go look at Gaheron. He only has two. Also keep the unisex armor for charr at least.
Well yeah… they’re male. xD
You can find an active Silverwastes map fairly easy in the LFG tool pretty much anytime of the day. As for the boss fights, people will likely describe the tactics of the bosses if asked in map chat. Most of it is really just doing what most of the other people are doing. If you can do the final boss of the latest living story, you can definitely do vinewrath, don’t worry.
Probably, pets and minions can get other unique conditions or boons put on them.
So that I can have even more armor sets cluttering up my inventory and bank?
Oh yes, because anyone that doesn’t agree with you must be a troll right?
You seem to be missing the point. We do not know what lore they had and what they didn’t have, the OP in that thread could have just figured out what the original plan for the sixth dragon was. We have no evidence that it was, and we have no evidence that it wasn’t. So, case closed.
Why have more asura hairstyles when we can be tables now?
So a name of a boss attack skill that uses a lot of skills related to elder dragons was completely a coincidence? Yeah, no. They’re likely been hanging onto it for quite a long time. That is how writing works, the start and ending is thought of first, and everything in-between is worked upon that base.
