The bosses have always been on a static timer. They have never been truly random.

Erm…
Considering that you can purchase an upgrade to deluxe pack of GW2 through gems, which also means that Anet is not making any profit by doing that but still doing it for the benefit of players.
That upgrade is small bonuses, not large content updates. It’s quite a bit difference.
You can get things you actually need in other way. You can get transmutation from map completion of cities, regular zones have a chance to give them too. PvP is also an easy way of getting them, and you can also get them from daily log in rewards now. You can get all the gem store bonus things from daily log in rewards, actually. Don’t forget that you can convert gold to gems, so you can buy anything in the gemstore with ingame money.
Healing power is sometiiimes used in WvW zergs, but it’s not as common as it used to be. GW2s definition of support is more along the lines of boons and debuffs, which you can build for while still using the most offensive stat set. Not every stat set needs a use everywhere.
Read.
In this game right now there is nothing new. You will get bored in 1 week thrust me. Let’ s wait the expansion to start actually playing it again. Moreover If with the new expansion they don’ t bring balance(ranger status is kitten) i will simply not play it.
Your experience is not another players experience. Remember that.
The specializations are just sub-classes, not actual secondary classes. Ranger gets druid because they already fit that theme.

ArenaNet certainly hasn’t had any trouble profiting from GW2 so far.
Would be up to the discretion of ArenaNet/NCsoft if people are allowed to do that or not, so we will have to wait for word from them about it.
It really depends if they are actually allowed to show footage or not. Sometimes filming footage of a demo at a gaming convention isn’t allowed by the people presenting it.
Thank you for your answers guys!
(…) or purchase a Heroic (standard) Edition for 9.99US or a Digital Deluxe Edition for 14.99US right now. (…).
Basically, that’s what I wanted to ask – if I get the DDE edition for 15 euro, can it be “applied” to my standard edition? So, the answer is yes
If you buy it on the regular store, the upgrade will only apply to the new account you buy, as it’s another copy of the game.
For general speed runs of dungeons, the tiers would be
Top: Warrior, Ele, Guardian
Middle: Ranger, Thief, Engi
Bottom: Mesmer, Necromancer
Mesmer can be rated higher in dungeons where reflects are much needed.

that_shaman has datamined the models of the revenant armor for the human-model races (Human, Sylvari, and Norn) and for Asura so far, so you can see what a revenant may look like as that race.
http://youtu.be/LNWR3tzKWIw Human
http://imgur.com/cDaLPNj Asura
If you mean by how good they currently are, you will need to specify a game-type.
Asura, asura, and asura, in that order.
There is a deluxe upgrade (which is higher than heroic) in the gem store for 2000 gems. It is under the upgrades tab in the in-game gem store.
There won’t be a season 3 before expansion, because the story of the expansion takes place the day after the pact crash. There might be LS in the future after expansion, as it could be used as filler for inbetween expansions or to lead up to them, but we don’t know yet.
Except I use zerker stats. On every one of my toons. And I’m sick of the kittenty PvE exploits. Nobody does it for the challenge. They do it for the gold.
How can a 3-4 minute fight translate into a “challenge” is beyond me. All you need to know is where to ball in as a group, and robotically evade the tell.
No real cleansing mechanisms, no party splitting to do real encounter objectives. Just zerg the living crap out of every boss in this game.
So, no, I’ve read your kittenty excuses, I just don’t accept them as a valid argument for making all the other stat combinations and playstyle options worthless for any serious content approach.
Funny, considering anything outside of dungeon speed runs can be done by any build. You can’t even crit the ‘bosses that are zerged the living crap out of’. And yes, people using exploits is a problem, but ArenaNet already does action against them if they see it. But that has no relevance to zerker stats.
People in zerker builds don’t want the other builds to be viable because they’ve invested all their time and gold onto a zerker meta. They’ve got all ascended zerker gear and they’ve got their gold grinds pat down.
That really isn’t true. People want challenging content, but they also don’t want the holy trinity in GW2 because the game was advertised to not have it. I swear, it’s like you didn’t even bother to read the thread and immediately jumped on to hate on people using zerker stats.

We don’t know yet, have to wait for stuff like blog posts.
And if you dont wanna talk about healers, then what about a mere supportive spec? there is no need for that either. Why arenanet chose to give armor stats like healing power and vitality if no one uses them?
Vitality is still used in instances where you can’t crit or critting isn’t as important, such as world bosses and also WvW zergs. Healing power is sometiiimes used in WvW zergs, but it’s not as common as it used to be. GW2s definition of support is more along the lines of boons and debuffs, which you can build for while still using the most offensive stat set. Not every stat set needs a use everywhere.
GW2 makes Anet and NCSoft quite a bit of money, there’s no reason for it to be trashed.
I think you guys miss my point. I was a zerk untill now and found it too easy and boring.
But other playstyles are not as good as zerks, and i think condies should be more effective in pve.
There is a reason why most of LFG descriptions ask for “lvl 80 war ele zerk only”.
zerk groups can beat anything in seconds. there is no reason whatsoever to try another build. there is no role for a condi or a healer in those groups.
So i think the non zerk builds should be more “needed” in pve.
There will never be a role for healers in Gw2 PvE. That would involve bringing the holy trinity back, and that’s something that will just not happen. People heal themselves.
Does this mean the expansion will include political intrigue and multiple important characters being killed off?
You dont thibk being a zerk is lazy? lets demonstrate it with thief ,shall we?
put all your signets, sword and pistol and just spam the 3rd skill and kill all foes.
Or an alternative, use d/d and just backstab everything by constantly pressing 5-1.
And with the right traits, you dont die that quickly.
You know you can run out of initiative, right? Zerker thief pops like a pimple without stuff like that.
That information is not available yet, all we have is what is seen in the trailer and what was said on the stream.
Not bad in PvE, they’re just not great either. They still have good damage, they just don’t bring any group utility or buffs apart from vulnerability. That might change with the new specialization. They’re one of the most used classes in WvW, and they’re still pretty decent in sPvP.

Keep in mind that GW2s version of support is buffs and debuffs, which can be achieved with still using full-offense stat sets.
Don’t trust anything that didn’t either come from the PAX south stream or the official site.
I agree with everything you said save one. Nerfing zerker is the only way to fix it really.
No it isn’t, people will still continue to use it because it does the most damage. There is no holy trinity, so the best stat set to use in PvE is berserker, because you don’t need other stat sets to give supporting boons or to debuff enemies.
Let’s not forget that hang gliders exist in real life.
The hang gliders seem to just be a thing you use to traverse the new maps, really.
You can create your own LFG party if you wish to run other builds, or even just join a party that says “All welcome”. There’s also a few guilds out there that don’t care which build you run.
What? You don’t think GW2 makes a ton from their RNG boxes? You don’t think some people pour hundreds into buying gems? Don’t forget that it’s not only in the EU and NA anymore, it has income from China also.
There’s quite a big different between forced payments and optional payments. You can play GW2 just fine without buying a single gem with $.
To upgrade accounts that already exist, you need to buy the upgrade through the gemstore for 2000 gems, not through the store on the site.
The Menagerie was a more acceptable thing in GW1 because people could off-spec into ranger to be able to use Pets. In GW2, only rangers would have access to it.
The horizontal progression will apparently be the class specializations and the new masteries (which seem to have a lot more going on with them than just combat)
If the zones are as packed as we are lead to believe, i’ll be happy about it. I much prefer fewer zones that have a lot of stuff going on, over maps that have everything too far apart.
It definitely will not be season 3, as the story of the expansion takes place literally the day after the pact crash apparently. There’s a possibility for other things like SAB though, considering there is no current living world season to impede it.
You will still have to download things, yeah, because of bug fixes. Physical copies are more for people that like that kinda thing.

The 3rd party sellers use the accounts of their victims, it really isn’t something that is possible to remove.
I welcome any good group utility and group support with hopeful arms.
The Stronghold map seems to be very much like gw1 GvG, though we don’t actually know how many players per team it is. It will have guild leaderboards for it, though.
Heart of Thorns is more like EOTN, though we don’t exactly know what they mean by the ‘challenging group content’ yet. Less zones than EOTN, but most of the zones in EOTN were very empty and dull anyway, I much prefer more tightly packed zones with multiple levels.
Factions and Nightfall were stand alone Campaigns, by the way. Not expansions.
Bear in mind the eotn zones had very little substance in them in places. Some were just tranisitional to other zones. GW2 zones are considerably different and generally contain a higher level of replay value.
Yeah, only reason I even bothered not just rushing through those zones was just for map exploration and vanquishing. They were incredibly dull.
Maybe Necromancer will finally get a leap!
I was looking into a Asura Warrior with dual axes, anyone tested their animations?
Warrior is the only class I don’t have sadly. :c
