Idk if this is a compliment or a friendly jab, or not even directed at me :P

Anyways, what I usually do is to be consistent during a specific time zone, adding everybody that WvWs to my friend list, which I use as a rally list ( Kalkz taugh me this).

What I do is a have a personnal guild which i save up my rally msg in the guild msg, so i can ctrl+x it and then mass whisper ppl simply by clicking everyone one by one and pressing ctrl+v to paste.

Now, the key to become a celebmander is be consistent and reward your zerg with karma trains. You’ll get popular super fast and get a blob on you, but be aware that these players will leave you as soon as they wipe and they are not good at fighting.

Sorry but the first GvG with Fang was 7-0 in Fang’s favour, the scrims afterwards didn’t count as there were too many people interfering.

it’s because PvE in this game is terrible (also bad in any game). However if you get to the high end of open field PvP (WvW) class specs really do become important and vital to a team/guild. A guardian/Warrior will most likely build as tanky as possible though sometimes they will build more damage if they want to go high risk high reward. A skilled elementalist will go zerker whereas a lower skilled ele will usually go knights for that survivability. With necro’s there are so much variations in builds it’s redicilous. If you want theorycrafting you’re looking at the wrong place, league of legends is a PvP game you’re vsing smart people not AI same as in WvW you’re vsing skilled opponents not AI so you need the defense stats.

Can confirm are a highly skilled group, and sync seems like a really cool guy JOIn these guys :-D

If you’re a Oceanic/SEA guild or commander looking to create a guild FA is the place to be, a massive oceanic militia population just lacks commanders.

Those guild rankings are pertaining to GvG. If you were to do an overall guild rating it would be very different.

People keep saying this, but provide no examples of guilds. Please give us your personal ranking of “proper” WvW guilds.

About the only guild I can think of that is notorious for holing up in a keep and defending it is MEND on IoJ. But even they have started venturing out because people realized that they can take the entire rest of the map if they let MEND just hang out in Hills by themselves.

Heres some of the guilds Id probably rate in a overall top 20s in WvW:

Onslaught, Icoa, Get of Fenris, Strike Force, Shadow Gypsies, WvW, KnT, CERN, Night Shift, Little Paws, ENMA. Most of those would most certainly make the list. Then you have guilds like TW, CHOO and HIRE who would probably still make the list but have a question mark on them at present, so to speak. And there are guilds like ATM which is all but disbanded but certainly would have been a top 20 and probably a top 5. Theres MERC who are only a shadow of their former self after splitting in a server transfer whom could have scraped in the top 20 at its peak. Or SONG who, I don’t know where they are but they were right up there, I think they went to EU. Its hard for me to speak of guilds below Tier 2. But then how good can they be if they can’t even push there servers that high. Im probably missing a few obvious ones as well. But NS is probably the only one on the GvG list that would make the overall WvW list and only just.

so all i need to do to become classified a “top” guild is transfer to t1? You must be in BG or JQ.

Eu-No queues, can usually pull around 30-100 people on all 4 maps
NA-1 or 2 queues and usually forces on at least 3 maps
Oceanic- 1 queue and force on at least 3 maps
SEA-No queues can pull around 50-150 people on all 4 maps.

Oh man, i have no idea why TC wants to go t1. But SoR persist it will all be over in a week or 2 and if you can stabalize yourself in t2 it will feel like heaven compared to t1 and will probably attract guilds like Agg/NS to your server.

and since when has one guild represented an entire server? Looking forward to fight a fellow long lasting oceanic guild in HIRE (not many of us left) when SoR comes down.

I’d recommend you to SoS and t2 based on the fact that we regurally face TC and Mag both which have Heavy roaming populations, in the off hour times oceanic/SEA/EU roaming is everywhere and on SoS our roaming population is very low.

Yeah go FA, if you can rally up their oceanic SEA forces will be fun fighting.

And Aussies love the beach so SEA of Sorrows.

We’re still recruiting, roughly 5 members per night short of where we want to be.

I would recommend Mag, however you’re only really going to get maximum a group of 30-40 in all 4 maps durign oceanic/SEA.

Tarnished Coast, this could suit you guys tehy have a large militia force and always play ppt.

Fort Aspenwood, this would be where you would probably make the most change FA has a large natural oceanic population i’m just assuming they lack organized forces. (though FA doesn’t play ppt)

Sea of Sorrows, our oceanic is very large though our SEA isn’t. it’s also filled with alot of militia so if you’re looking to create a guild best recruitment will be here, we actually lack SEA commanders.

Out of those 4 servers the ones that play most for ppt are TC and SoS to a lesser extent, the one that needs you the most are Mag and FA and the one that would probably be the best for you is SoS and TC. Also don’t listent o TC when they say we outnumber then during SEA, we only have 1 guild running during SEA which runs 15-25 and another running 10-15.

All we’re trying to say is that stop recruiting for MAg on the SBI thread, go to your own thread or just speak to individual SEA players and recruit them to VR and KH to make VR oceanic/SEA. Recruiting guilds isn’t the only way to improve coverage.

Maybe because people from servers out side of the “top 3” are calling for guilds to move off said “top 3” servers.

Yes you all want balance, and equality, you have that believe it or not. The top 3 get to play each other, granted SOR is getting the shorter end of the stick so to speak.
T2 is balanced when all 3 can be bothered putting effort in (by looking at the scores only)
T3 well some could use a few more folks to help balance it up a tad more.

Actually looking at MOS, ATM ONLY as I am too lazy to look back over history, there is only 3 servers in total in their respective “tier” that are unbalanced, those servers are : SOR in the supposed “Teir1”, and Denova’s Rest and Kaineng both of whom are in “tier 8”.

If I was to actually look at this with out bias towards anything, I’d actually say things are pretty much balanced as they are right now.

Look at it another way, if your not in said tier, who cares what’s happening in that tier? I mean seriously. The only people, again when looking with out bias, that really have a right to complain is SOR, Dev Rest and Kaineng, all the rest should be pretty happy with their lot, regardless if they feel the matches are stale. If you truly are bored of your match up then move, else be happy with the fights your getting in your relatively close matches across the tiers.

No the intention of this post was, if guilds decide to transfer. transfer to SoR, NA—> DB and Oceanic—>SBI so that we can get a good 9 servers who can acually compete with each other. Because i don’t know about t1 but fighting the same servers all the time gets kitten boring and stale. We already had a NA SoS guild transfer off to DB.

in all instances i’ve played in Blue have been winning.

seriously? Mag has little to no night population and trying to take a keep from mag is annoying with the group of 20-30 hiding behind 50 sup ac’s.

At least FA has DKP,Meow,Gwam,Sern and DPS.
