Hey I’m Rooster from Team Shatter, we’re currently looking for members to join our rowdy oceanic guild. Team Shatter is currently recruiting WvW’ers and PvX players, we run nightly WvW raids from 12 am PST to 3-4 am PST.
We have been active in guild wars 2 for over a year where we have been active in WvW on Sea of Sorrows, through this time we have had many achievements like covering Lions Arch in guild banners and rustling alot of PvE jimmies, making SoR super mad at us and just getting people to generally hate us and love us at the same time (we have that effect).

Traditionally Team Shatter has focused on the defensive/ppt aspects of WvW however we are beginning to branch out into the GvG scene and untagged zerg busting. We have members ranging from NA to SEA but the majority of our focus is during Oceanic and SEA where we raid (Our Guild leader is from New Zealand though, so if that’s a problem we may be able to work around it), we are actively searching for a larger SEA base to expand our WvW timezone and are always recruiting for more oceanics.

TS is a more casual and fun focus orientated guild and we’re looking for members who share the same belief that WvW is meant to be about fun. We field roughly 25-30 on weekends and during WvW events during the weekday we field 15-25 and off days we do small ops/havock squad groups of 10-15. With being serious in WvW we also have our off times where we get up to shenanigans anywhere and everywhere. We also have a collective unhealthy obsession with Yak’s.

Yes, the committee has changed the “not buying guilds” stance because a majority of the guilds represented said go ahead. On how the committee is represented it’s been repeated many times through channels and server reset meetings. Again, there’s no secret. No high/war council, it’s just a simple committee to help the community.

Keep in mind that calls by only one server to try and institute a 2v1 on another usually backfires in that it kitten es off the people targeted and also makes the second party to want to spite you. We’ll try and show respect if you do – keep the vitriol to the minimum please.

I think they lowered queue sizes. Mag queues, even on reset, are rarely longer than 15-20 minutes. I’ve been in queue for an hour now.

You are in for a surprise if you think anything about Maguuma will be a “pushover” scenario, ask Jade Quarry or Tarnished Coast, you will have your hands full with us let alone SoS, we can que 4 maps with skilled guilds and pubbies.
Many thanks to our dedicated guilds and players, Paralda/Pyro, Diviniya and Razi/Ark, Bony/DERP, Xushin and his pain train for making this happen. We pulled together as a server and got it done against the odds and efforts to the contrary. I’m very proud to be Maguuma right now. 7 weeks of tears gold league, that’s what you are in for, come at us bros, kitten ppt, give us an open field to wreck you in or a smoking hole in the side of a tower or keep to farm you in.

You lost to SBI, we just had SBI and SOS, our hands were most definitely not full…….. Ill give it a day before the debate about who has better roamers starts due to Maguuma QQ.

Grats to SoR and SBI for winning Coverage Wars 2, since they cant do it alone they have to work together because they are afraid of what Maguuma will do to them in open-field. Ask these guys if they feel like winners, get used to seeing this, your turn is coming in the next couple of weeks.

Oh, but if ranking is a factor in deciding the victor, JQ has EVERYTHING to gain by making sure we take your stuff, while they maintain their lead. I’m sure we can convince every other server in this league of the same.

Every hour that you tick the same, or even lower than us; exponentially lowers your chances of claiming victory.

It’s for laughs, but it will also be a lesson in server diplomacy and that using lower tiered servers for your little games is not a good idea.

Meaning we have a similar if not stronger presecne during oceanic time compared to SoR. Now say if we focus SoR instead of JQ because we have say made an alliance with JQ (hypothetically speaking) this would cause SoR’s ppt to drop as we ahve all of our forces on SoR bl while all of JQ’s forces are on SoR bl aswell dropign SoR to sub 200 ppt compared to JQ’s 300+ ppt during oceanic time.

Your PPT was remotely similar sometimes because of Karma train…… once again dont delude yourself……

Looking at income evolution, your ppt approached ours a total of 5 times throughout the week for very very brief periods of time ( karma train), and only twice was it even close ( notice i used the word approached 330 SOR vs 265 SBI ).

Seems obvious to me they want silver league and/or their players are so fair weather that at a prospect for a fight they log.

SBI has at least come out to fight at times. Having said that being bored of PVD we stopped doing it and camped dawn’s on SBI last night, even with a wall down they did not attempt to attack it. SO we took a garrison wall down, again we just wanted a fight/reaction, we got that fight versus ac’s and canons.

We went to eb, sos had permanent invisibility on the whole map! At least SBI came to play which was fun.

Anyway I cannot wait for this match up to be over. Everyone is playing some sort of game to go to this league or that and quite frankly it has been the worst match up I have experienced.

I’ve stuck out a exodus and have succesfuly helped rebuild my server to no.5 so you don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m just saying it’s hard for a server like Sos to recruit guilds when
1. Almost all of them are in t1
2. If they are in the lower tiers they would rather go to t1 because of paid transfers

The only thing we had knowing was eventually once achievements come out queues would get out of control in t1 and guilds would start destacking but now that Anet are making queues not a factor anymore there won’t be a reason for anyone to transfer to ranked 4,5,6 to say ranked 1,2,3.

nobody cares about that in NA, all they want is to transfer to t1 and get their fee paid for them.

What is the incentive for transferring to a lower tier server compared to the already stacked t1 servers Anet?

Queues were about the only thing that we could sell on, now that you’re making those obeselete there is nothing. I’m starting to think Anet doesn’t care about any tier outside of t1.

All of this. Its been a horrible week and its not the players fault. I’ve tried to have fun this week, unfortunately its been at the expense of SoS and SBI the only way to have fun at times is by spawn camping and stuff which is 1) boring and 2) sad to take part in and watch.

SoS has had the attitude let chips fall where they may and do the best since we started to rebuild. We have seen some blatant 2v1 this matchup but chalked it up to usual part of the game. But here is some proof of SoR helping SBI. Apparantly 25 + SoR in SBI Ts3 coordinating with guilds from SBI to doubleteam SoS. How kittened is that? If SoR wanted to push SoS they have enough people by themselves. lol. No honor amongst them both.
