What everybody is forgetting is that it’s actually free transfers atm ONLY to tier 1 NA.
No other server can or is willing to pay for guilds to transfer compared to Stack Quarry, Sanctum of Stack and maybenotsostackgate.

If t1 servers want to continue to stack give them their own tier.

JQ has Asian gold sellers so we can pay a higher price to any guild
JQ will superstack and there is nothing you can do about it (we have done so in the past)
JQ don’t really have any skill and the guilds which claimed to have skill which transferred here lost all their skill by travelling in the big blobs.
So there is really nothing you can do, even though we knew this was coming we decided to stack so all you can do is suck up our mismatch as we love pvdooring and

Just saying the full potential of some of your guilds gets tainted by your superiour numbers *cough NS, Agg. The only competition you will get is vs SoR as BG seems to be having some trouble in paradise. And that will be like 3 weeks out of 7 in the leagues.

Also have nothing against HzH, you guys are an admirable guild which stuck it out on JQ during the harsh times. Just have a problem with your gold sellers/recruiters and those bandwagoners which joined your server that will fill your queues once PVE comes into play.

Yes, but you won’t regret it. We’re a great guild and love to have a variety of fights in a variety of servers.

Ahh Anet you’re cheeky 1’s aren’t ya change the title of my thread so i can’t recognize it when i’m at uni. Need to think of a new cheeky title name i guess.

With the upcoming leagues there has been a mad flock to the t1 servers, mainly from t2 servers and below. both Tarnished Coast and Fort Aspenwood have been losing guilds to the big 3 widening the gap between 3 and 4 creating further imbalances and further strains on your server. Everything Arenanet has introduced to this point has supported this from paid transfers to leagues to bloodlust.

Now i’m asking Anet what are you going to do to help push some of these guilds to lower tiers, being in charge of alot of the recruitment in my server we have had discussions with many guilds about transferring here. Some from t1 some from t2 etc, now the main reason why they would choose a t1 server over us is because of transfer fees and t1 servers essentially paying for their transfer (We had instances where they said that they will transfer to SoS in an instant if we could pay for even 30% of the transfer, we couldn’t but a t1 server paid 100% of their transfer so they did it.) Now i don’t blame these guilds i too would rather go for the no risk option if i were transferring.

So there needs to be a couple of intiatives put in place by Arena net to ensure that people destack and produce a more balanced playing field especially in gold league which this is affecting the most.

no.1= Reduce map caps by 10-25%, this would create longer queues for the t1 servers which helped in the intial destack where HoD and ET imploded and all their guilds spread out, creating 6 relatively competitive t1 servers at the time. (FYI Sea of Sorrows was the most stacked at the time and we wouldn’t queue all4 bl’s on reset so population isn’t much less then it was before).

Reducing the map caps will also reduce the effects of nightcapping, skill lag and zerging.

no.2= Lower transfer costs to lower tier servers, one of the main problems is transfer costs to a t1 server is the same to a t6 server yet the t1 server will be able to pay for the guilds transfer. If the t1 server transfer cost is much more expensive whilst a t4 server is cheaper then it is now it will help in a guilds decision to help destack.

no.3= Give personalized league based rewards.

I hope this was a good read, the current state of the gold league NA is worsening every day as more guilds from TC and FA flock to the t1 bandwagon.

The general consensus of our server (SoS) is that we will be happy for Mag to get 6th and be steam rolled and curbed stomped and swirlied every week. We don’t want it. We aren’t going to throw matches, but we’re sure as hell happy to let Mag gain points through currently blowing out their weaker opponents this week, to get blown out in future weeks.

We had a nice big talk about it in EB tonight before JQ dominated all 4 maps again.

No it is not the general consensus, are you even apart of the internal SoS community, ie get on ts3, forums? The consensus is we play how we always have we’re not going to tank just to get to silver league. We have a oceanic population that will be pvdooring every week if that happens that would be horrible, on the other hand we aren’t going to stress ourselves and push us into gold league because of rng it may not happen.

At the moment Maguuma is feeding on Dragonbrands bloated rating, we all know ehmry gives up as soon as the weekend end so the score is no suprise to anyone.

Maguuma has lost to SoS in every matchup we’ve had. For all of Ms. Katniss’s state of denial, they can’t claim a win until they actually win. Having better roamers or holding a single keep overnight does not count in the score.

Now Maguuma, respected adversaries, stop arguing that you are better and try and prove it.

It doesn’t matter if you are better than Maguuma. If you roll low enough match ups you will undoubtedly lose rating. If Maguuma at the same time rolls high enough match ups, they will undoubtedly gain rating.

I think the last matchup will be a classic, 1 vs 2 vs 3 4 vs 5 vs 6 7 vs 8 vs 9 10 vs 11 vs 12 etc etc.

Well I hope we fight you next week then, because we are actually trying to hold things now instead of let them drop for the sake of recapping them for dragonite ore.

We want that Gold tier, and are pushing toward it with that same passion that we had on Mag back in day 1 WvW. We have over 50% more presence on the maps than we normally did. It feels good knowing people are making a real effort now, right when I was at the point of giving up defending altogether for the fights between the points as a focus instead. We’re at 440 PPT at the tip of Oceanic primetime. Now, I’m not saying we can do that vs t2 servers or anything, but vs SoS, yes. You getting 2 more NA guilds doesn’t really mean much to us. We haven’t been losing to triple queues yet, and we have both teams attacking us on every map. They can’t keep up. They can waste time getting 3 stacks of bloodlust, and still die with that buff on.

We cannot be beaten.

On the other hand, the differences in population between SOR and JQ are nothing compared to the differences between any T1 server and the rest. Don’t get me wrong, T1 has the most fun WvW by a long shot, just pretty bad when we are matched with non-T1 servers.

I’d just like to make a note of one thing that I think people aren’t considering when they transfer to stacked worlds. You will not, repeat will not, be able to receive the reward based on overall world place in the league, unless you achieve the meta achievement for the season. If you aren’t able to get into WvW much, you won’t get the rewards. So it is absolutely taking a risk to transfer to a world that has a large WvW population.

You need to make map limits lower, will solve skill lag and will help in destacking
at the same time make a sale in gem prices.

In the end of the day, SoS is going to always play day in and day out regardless of the outcomes. The majority of the people i know want to end up in gold league and challenge ourselves.

Although Blackgate lost MERC, they gained ZN,EE and some other guilds aswell.

If you pay attention to the posts complaining about skill lag, they are almost always from EU. EU servers have problems.

I wasn’t commanding when you wiped us, i just tagged up and got your garrison. i got bored so i tagged off but i need to stay up later i realized to catch your SEA squads.

Only week i got noticable skill lag was the week against TC and SOR where there were 80v80v80 in garrison. Other then that i barely get skill lag even when it’s like 60v60v60 in an open enviroment.

what is the problem about 25+ man groups, WvW is supposed to be about large scale battles aswell as smaller scale battles all working togethor, why is there so much hatred towards large groups. 25 isn’t a large group, 80 is that’s where the issues lie 25 is a rather good number for a group to have some truly epic battles.

We’re growing just need roughly 2-3 more NA guilds 1 EB and 2 bl NA guilds and 1-2 more SEA guilds aswell as if possible 1 more EU guild.

SBI vs SoS vs FA- Would be an absolutely awesome matchup

or any matchup with Dragonbrand i want to cement our place in t2.

I agree with Awe, keep it at 12 servers per league and if you’re doing 4 leagues of 6 make sure you put SoS in league 1, i’m sure we can beat DB.
