Sure, racist and sexist slurs should merit a ban, but swearing generally is just a matter of preference.

I want to craft the minstrel too but other foci have better looking effects than it.

It’s sad to see people impose their personal standards on others and feign superiority. Why do we have to expect everyone to conform to our beliefs? React to statements based on its context. No one is better just because he/she avoids using specific words.

Aside from the sPvP games, I agree with this list.

The disparity can be felt most tremendously on glass cannon scholars who choose to go melee. As a mesmer, there is absolutely no way to go full melee on dungeons as compared to pure ‘ranged’ mesmers via GS or Staff. It makes it seems like melee is the ‘alternate’ weapon, with the ranged weapon being the primary in almost every scenario.

I’m fine with cosmetic items remaining relatively unreachable for casual players like me.. But I wish they won’t let these ascended items be available only to the elite. The reason why most of us are upset about these ascended items is that it requires excessive resources that casuals can’t afford (time and/or real life money).

Legendaries, IF they stick to weapons only, is fine being slightly better than any other tier so long as they don’t insist on making legendary armor or accessories that only a handful of people can obtain (stat-wise).

If they allow Legendaries to be sold on TP, then so should every other tier below it.

I wish ascended would get sold on TP too.. I mean if legendary (the creme de la creme of equips) are allowed to be traded, why not the gear that is 1 tier lower?

toypocalypse, as the finale event, is a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of mini activities that we get to do throughout wintersday. It still is though, leaps and bounds better compared to the halloween patch. I am happy with this. i hope the human wintersday gets to be explored somewhat next year though. im kinda missing my gods.

WTF?! I only have 2k achievement points. I wish you’d get something special from all of that achievement really.. It’s a big feat regardless.

Anyway back to topic :/ JQ seems to be behind in score quite a bit. What happened? It was a very tight race last week.

Exactly how I feel about it. In fact I used the same word to describe it in another thread. Toypocalypse just feels tedious.

Maybe if they doubled the speed by which mobs spawn it would be more fun.. As of now it just feel tedious.. I don’t know if the personalized gifts are substantive enough but I only get wools from them so yea, kinda disappointed here.

My problem is that for the amount of time we spend on the mini game, it doesn’t reward us with anything substantial. I feel like my time could be better spent somewhere else.. Is there any good reward if we finish all 10 waves of toypocalypse?

I find it really boring too. I don’t understand how this is supposed to be the great finale.. Am I missing something?

ventari looks like a hamster or something. the toy soldier and toy golem i imagine would appeal to boys though. the golem, hmm still trying to figure out why there’s a lot of people making those minis.

Im surprised a lot of people are liking the golem.. I find it rather bland.

Maybe they’re needed more someplace else? Maybe Elona or Cantha?

I feel like a wide pvp event more structured than wvw is needed. Scheduled/timed sieges against people you wanna go against seems to be what’s lacking for me. Guild Wars without the actual guild wars is kinda meh.

Hmm do you really want the color palette of Sunrise on your attacks? Twilight’s is ok but Sunrise’s kinda looks bad.

On the other hand, Offhand legendaries should have extra effects when utilities are used! Since the main hand legendaries already takes over for the attacks.

As a shatter mesmer, I usually fare well against backstab thieves. It is impossible though to kill a thief who specializes in stealth. There is no way in hell I can kill him in wvw regardless of how well I play. The rendering issues prevent me from doing so.

It’s especially hard for people like me who can’t avail of gems any other way than converting gold. If only the GW2 cards will be sold here in our country too sigh (philippines)

I think if we can see the actual names of the invaders it will be a little more fun. Developing a sense of rivalry towards someone can keep me from being jaded over the overall lack of incentives and fighting the same servers in wvw. It also makes me more determined to play better if only for a little more glory.
