1. Dark Path back to beta state (ground-targeted teleport), or significantly improve its projectile speed
2. Dagger #2, either make it a health-based life transfer (up to 3 targets) or rework the skill altogether and make it a leap skill somehow
3. Rework the way skills like Deathly Swarm and Ghastly Claws work so you can actually hit targets when they’re standing inside of you, or remove the ridiculous cooldown that occurs when said thing happens.
I know it’s against OP’s rules but;
4. Improve life force gain on scepter

I guess the faster autoattack is nice. I hit a thief for 11k today with skill #2, which was amusing, but the weapon itself could still use some polishing. Shorter cast time on #3 would be nice.

I’m guessing they’re unsalvageable because Anet doesn’t want us to make money out of it (god forbid WvW actually being rewarding).
This can be easily fixed by making them salvagable, but removing the ectoplasm chance from these specific armor/weapon types.
Even though I’m highly sceptical they’re ever gonna fix this problem, it’s been like that since release iirc.

Immob should be way higher on the condition removal priority list, that’d fix most of the issues.

Engineer – Main char, mostly WvW (roaming, zerging) and Living Story stuff, sPvP
Elementalist – WvW zerging, roaming, organised runs, sometimes sPvP
Necromancer – Main char for organised guild runs, any form of WvW other than roaming, sPvP
Warrior – WvW when my guild needs one, dungeons, sometimes sPvP
Mesmer – WvW roaming mostly, occasional dungeon runs, sometimes sPvP
Guardian – WvW zerging, sometimes organised guild runs, occasional dungeon runs
Thief – WvW/roaming/trolling
Ranger – Barely play him anymore, mostly used for WvW roaming
As you might’ve guessed I mainly play WvW :P

No thanks, Fear and Immobilize are prominent enough, nothing’s more frustrating than losing the control of your character. + we already have pull skills for the desired effect.
My mouse only has 2 additional buttons (at the thumb, Logitech G9), but it’s enough for me, I use the following keybinds:
Weapon skills + heal: 1-6
Utility 1: Mouse4
Utility 2: Mouse5
Utility 3: R (usually my sturn breaker/escape skill)
Elite: Shift + Mouse4

Same thing happened to me on my Ele’s Lightning Flash, what’s even worse is that I’m unable to swap weapons as an ele (and Attunement Swap doesn’t work), although a ridiculous bug like this shouldn’t exist anyway.
I found out the Quip and Antitoxin Injector match up pretty well in terms of colours :>

It happened to me as well, during large PvE events that is. On my Engineer I couldn’t even auto-attack. The only skills I could use were weapon kits, but the auto attacks on those didn’t work either.
Pretty similar to the skill lag that occurs when there’s a 3-sided SM fight in EB, but worse.
I didn’t had this problem before the Wintersday patch btw.

When Scarlet appeared, I immediately lost any bit of interest I had in this Fractal.
On the other hand, just imagine how they would’ve butchered the lore if Evon won the campaign. /shudder

Getting there
I don’t find mes to be especially hard to play. Eng… is like playing a kitten piano while playing a game.
Heh for me it’s the other way around, I started with Engineer and it has always felt natural to me. Mesmer however… I do enjoy playing the class but I can’t seem to find the right mindset for it.

They might not be the prettiest characters but I love the way my Necro & Warrior turned out :P
In GW1, you couldn’t switch attunements on the fly, so most builds focused on one element (Air/Fire/Earth/Water). Most people went for Fire in PvE, because of the AoE damage.
They were rather easy to play in low-level PvP, but they were easy to cripple as well (interrupts, attunement removal disrupting their energy flow), where most eles specialized in either Air (blind spam, single-target spike damage) and Fire (Mind Blast comes to mind, mostly single target pressure and burns). Earth also became rather popular during the later years of the game, when a couple of Earth skill recieved huge buffs.
They played numerous roles in high-level PvP though, by either running flags in GvG, assisting spikes in balanced teams, or crippling enemy melee with Earth and Water. It was all about timing your skills well and being in sync with the rest of the team.
All in all, the difference is quite huge, it’s kinda hard to compare, GW1 and GW2 mechanically being entirely different games & all.

Having a mouse with extra buttons really, really helps imo.
Because they don’t wanna admit they made the wrong design choice again.

Too bad Anet’s gonna ignore the kitten out of this thread like every other good idea.
I quite like the Vigil Mace, most of the other skins are rather crappy though.
You can craft em both in the mystic forge, the price difference comes from the materials needed; Ilya requires 250 Ancient Pistol Frames and Lyss requires 250 Orichalcum Pistol Barrels. The latter are more expensive, explaining the price difference.
