I hope you lol out of a positive way:) but cof p1 aws as arah p4 one of the paths that were considered unbeatable. It was one of the hardest bosses I did fight ( and I did fight quite a few). We wiped some times yes I WIPED i would give so much for that Feeling again and we pulled ourselves together I told them this is one of the last ( besides arah p4 ) path I Need they should Focus so we pulled ourselves together for a last attempt.l

In an epic battle equiptment with my selfcrafted condition gear and some super pirate runes. we needed to battle him about 15 minutes full focused to finally beat him. It was a great Feeling even gw2 was out only few days. we were able to beat that Boss.
One of the bosses most ppl in this game only have killed after Anet nerfed him down hard:)

I love this place, it makes my heart warm.

Also that is pretty awesome. I’m sure that was fixed loooong before I ever went into cof. I was sub 80 for about 3 months after release. Total casual back then.

Well, the black lion specialist has raised the price to 5 tickets, so it is likely that it will increase in price, eventually. I would recommend getting it now (it’s at 65g now I think?) because it likely will not go under that, and if you don’t level your warrior in a few months you can likely sell it for profit.

Yeah, I tried to address this in my post. This is something I’m also very concerned about. Please allow us to opt out.

I also leveled characters to 80, made a legendary, spent a lot of gold, sold a lot of things at my own risk. I guess they could take it all away, but even though it was fun I guess I’d be afraid if they did it again, once I put more work into doing it all over…

And yet these “top players”, these “advanced fractal runners”, have done none of the content with the new challenges yet to set them apart from anyone else. Should they be able to fly through it up the leader boards? I’d like to think they can, unless of course they’ve become so stagnant in an unchanging old system that new changes stall them out for awhile. Time will tell on that one… will they be all forum talk or will they back it up in game. (I, to be honest, expect a little of both.)

Geeeez guy. I don’t think they should be just given the levels, no. But why do we have to participate in a leaderboard that we don’t want to? Not to mention, I have privacy concerns about it… Like, will those at the top be inundated with people begging to have help in fractals? How will the leaderboard work in that situation?

Anyway… If we don’t have to use leaderboard, why lose our levels? Or just make it so, they still have to complete levels 30-50, but it still says that their prl is the same and they still get that karma and such for going below their level?

It just seems like they’d rather keep a bunch of LS addicts than the actual games pros… Which is weird because these are the guys making guides and videos and stuff for new hardcore players to get them into it. People on lvl 30 scale aren’t as skilled as people at lvl 40-50. It’s gonna be a kitten storm of bad pugs which is mainly why I’m annoyed by this update. I feel for the people who lost a lot more progress than me (I have 1 lvl 48, 4 lvl 38s).

These are all high scores. And they’re all “just a number.” And they can all be reset as easily as fractal level. Some people care about them, others don’t. Fractal Level is also a high score. It is very important for a very devoted section of the Guild Wars community. Why turn your backs on them? They have every right to the number that is most important to them.

Yeah, it is a GAME. If you don’t think the game aligns with your values move on. If you were 80 before, I have no doubts you will be at the top of that leader-board, crushing, in no time.

The people who were 80 before, were so due to to skill. No one has taken their skills away.

Can’t you understand how detrimental to the game as a whole that would be? Adding content that excludes everyone but a vast minority will hurt the game in the long run. This is why 30 is good. It’s still a bit of work to get to, it gives newer players time to learn the mechanics of the different Fractals as well as give them a taste of agony, and it’s within reach. If it started at 50 you’d see a lot of players that would otherwise be willing to go for it not even bother.

Imagine them adding permanent content that less than one percent of the players can access? Now that would go against the manifesto!

If the content isn’t accessible, it might as well not even exist.

I see less than 1% of the population ever goes to Southsun Cove!

If they actually had a wealth of new content at level 1 i wouldnt really care that much. And if thats what will actually make you guys not feel like you have no reason to complain, sure reset everyone to 1.

I didn’t get to 50. I’m an elitist sympathizer. I’m only at 42 which actually makes me a scrub. And I’m not mad. I’m furious. It’s hard enough finding good fractal pugs for my 48s. Also, reason I can’t play with those sexy lovely level 80s is really because I’m a scrub. And that isn’t me joking, I’m totally kittening serious!

I’m not saying that these lovely good players (god they’re rare!) should have an advantage (truth be told they already do, because they’re amazing at everything) I think anet should have a plan to compensate the folks who got crap rewards for 30+ levels (loot didn’t scale, though mob difficulty did!) thinking that that was the challenge that anet gave them to achieve. Something. Anything.

Uh, I like warriors. I always have a friend run with me, and he’s a guardian. If he didn’t run with me, I’d prefer to have a guardian, but I feel like I can trust a warrior pug more than another class. Not because they are better but because the class is just…. Better.

i honestly dont care if you kept your progress up till 50, even though to be honest, you havent really earned the new 50. I just dont really care if you did or you didnt.

The truth is, your old game mode died, 31+ fractals that you used to play no longer exist. They wont have the same amounts of monsters, they wont hit as hard or have as much defense, the boss will be harder some of the time, and they will have new conditions to challenge you. The records you have no longer apply.

Now if you, to deal with this loss get some personal advantage and get to skip to the end of the new game, i dont really care. If it makes you feel better for your loss, fine. But dont act like you earned these levels, you wouldnt really be keeping your level, you would be getting access to a new level, a shortcut.

Personally, i would only want achievements i earned, not the ability to skip ahead, but since you did lose your game mode, whatevers clever. For me its more about actually achieving or doing something than the mechanical number next to my name, or skipping ahead to the things i didnt earn, but some people like to go straight to the end of the game.

That should have also applied to MF-rework then. System got changed. No one had earned anything.

Put still, people got compensated. But I guess you deleted all your MF-gear.

yes i had a full magic find charachter, with all exotics, they deleted her magic find. They didnt compensate for magic find, they just didnt destroy the gear.

The equivalent of what you want, is for them to start you at 150 account magic find because you previously had 150 magic find. they didnt do that, so i dont know why you guys are bringing up magic find.

And to be honest, although i lost all that magic find, and honestly probably wouldnt even have gotten that charachter any exotics at all if i had known (i got like 3 naked level 80 charachters who i havent bothered to gear up) Im not really mad at them, because the account magic find system is a much better solution to the whole entire magic find system. It has even improved the desirability of items that were useless before. It was more than worth it. So i wasted some money on exotics for a charachter i no longer play, who cares. The game is a lot better for it.

Regardless, I can pretty much guarantee anyone who got to 80 in the old fracs will likely be the first to get to the new cap, and they will likely be done in a fraction of the time it took them to get to 80. That will make them more mad, because the challenge isn’t actually there…. But that’s if this doesn’t make them quit altogether.

It’s only versus those inquest enemies. This is why people like the superior sigil of force/night, because they give the bonuses toward every mob. But the potions are really useful in single enemy type dungeons, like TA, Arah, etc.

I’d do it now, in case they change the recipe to yield something sucky (like that infusion slot actually only comes with like, say, 1 AR or something after patch…Though that May be doubtful?
