Well, order armor is irrelevant. It’s trans mutable. My human priory warrior has vigil leggings, and it looks good!

It would be nice if the slot kept it activated all the time. That way you wouldn’t have to keep activating it at every area.

You can make a new thief alt, and transmute the hood to be account bound. That’s. The only way, though.

You can use either the hats sweaters or gloves and the 3 different minis.

So put the sweaters and each of the minis, you should get the dolyak.

It is time to stop feeling like victims and do something productive. If you wanna play fractals, group up and get it done. Open the instance and you won’t get kicked. If a party sucks, leave it and join a new one. Chances are you will get into a nice group.

Sitting here and repeating how unfair we’ve been threated is not accomplishing anything.

I have become even more disheartened by this level reset. When I first did my levels I did them with PUGs. It was hard, it was a lot of work and it was sometimes dealing with some really unsavory characters. But I got it done….I had the sense of accomplishment at even being invited and doing fractals above 50.

I tried over the long weekend (holiday here in US) to regain some of my lost levels. I did 5 fractal sets…yet my personal reward level is still only 33. I got kicked from two groups over the weekend at the final boss. One told me they were kicking me to bring in their guildmates so that their guildmates could advance (without having to spend the hours beforehand getting to the final boss)…the other kicked all of us at the final boss when the person who started the fractal suddenly disconnected (we had Mai Trin almost dead) whether on purpose or not we do not know.

So for about 8 hours of “work” to regain my lost levels, I gained 3 levels. Did I have fun? Not really, I am mainly doing it for the achievements right now. I used it as a “teaching” moment for 2 of the runs since the people were fairly obviously new at running fractals so I showed them some tricks that helped. Rewards? 3 infused rings that I already have a couple bank vaults full of….only these are the “new” infused rings.

I am still extremely bitter at this. All of my forward progress that I worked hard for is gone, and I will probably never get it back because of the PUG issue. I hate even running dungeons because of the griefers who grab the final chest and quit out closing the dungeon on the group…Fractals just makes it worse.

sorry for you guys but trust me if you have done it you just sit around at 50 and have no reason to ever enter a fractal again.. rewards are still not worth it to do fractals over just some mindless afk farmruns. And somehow I am still stuck with the “loosing Progress Thing” it makes working for somthing at least for me pretty meaningles..
I don’t know the Feeling that it doesn’t matter and everything you do can be reseted is way worse than the actualy reset itself( well the actual reset caused the Feeling but still).

I haven’t step in the “new” awesome fractal but I do read the forum posts from people I’ve know from dungeons, especial the list from Nike and it pretty much said the same thing.

I basically just run w/ my family guild & nothing else lately in addition to several old friends known from the LFG guild when they are bored w/ pug. But Lilith & Ethics, you can add me to your list if you don’t want to run w/ pug. At least I know you don’t use the build of the developers from twitch tv. Or the afk skill.
I love that stream and it tells everything of everything.

Pshaw, I may not use the afk skill but if I’m in mumble with my bois I don’t s-t-/f-u or pay attention to what I’m doing.

I just PMed him and invited him to play with my guild groups. We should form a random collection of people who are upset about the reset and tired of pugging with bads party for fotm =).

I’m still at 31. Unfortunately, it was a guild group, however some of the may have been under the influence and not really comprehending what was going on lol.

For the Record, I love my guild, they just tend to lose focus easily in dungeons/fotm.

Glad to hear. I also love my guild. But we are a social guild, not a dungeon guild. There are days I just don’t want to be chill in a dungeon, like when I have a limited amount of time and don’t wanna waste it.

We do need a group of like minded individuals. Although as you know Ethics I’m terrible so I’m not sure I belong with this crew. Lol

Let us buy 100 normal relics for one pristine and I’m happy. Grinding capacitors for alts is boring, and ANet is being quite stingy with relic drops per level.

The problem is that the people that want an alternative use for the pristine relics are the ones with 100+ of them. Those same people have thousands of regular relics left after making ascended backpieces for all their alts.

I dunno, despite having tons of these, I need tons of obsidian shards. These are always useful, and if I could buy a pack of them with pristines I would be more than happy.

I think that Giant Eyes should be a guaranteed drop from killing Giants or Risen Giants, much like how Veteran Karka always drop a Karka Shell. Given how rare Giants/Risen Giants are, I think this would increase supply, but not excessively so to a point where it’d crash the market.

When I made my immobulus the giant eyes were far too difficult. I had to buy them, which is a struggle in itself, because sometimes the supply is lower than the requirements for a single weapon. So you could buy out the entire stock and still not get the weapon.

If the recipe is to say the same, I agree that it should be ascended given the cost. However, I think anet wants ascended weapons to all be time gated, so either you have to spend thousands of gold on a legendary or do the crafting. Which takes forever!

Immobulus is such a rare weapon. You see so few people with it. This makes me happy sort of, because I do like the fact that my toon is a special snowflake.

However, I think they really should have a decrease in crafting cost. I think 100 giant eyes would be plenty hard, while not be completely bank breaking.

Just at a passing glance it looks roughly the same. Asura finds person, they fall in love, make love, have a kid if applicable, and keep living their lives.

As for the thing about asura being attracted to anyone of any gender, I would imagine that’s a lot like us too. Some are, some arnt. I have not personally seen a gay asura couple (get on that anet), but theres nothing to say if that’s normal, accepted, uncommon, taboo, or even if asuras have multiple partners at one time of both male and female.

I have, however, seen a lesbian asura. She’s somewhere in Rata Sum, complaining that her wife/mate wants her to be home on time for dinner.

Or something like that, I would have to find and see that conversation again.

I agree with this, except if they outright refused to do anything with them, I would be okay if they added accessories and amulets as rewards WITH the rings. Sure, eventually you have more than you need and nothing to do with them, but at least then you’re not stuck with 1000 rings when all you need is an earring.

I really like your various forge ideas, and the salvage. I would love to see a way to convert my rings into nice agony infusions or dragonite ore. I think we will see it in 6 months when they decide to increase the level cap again (and hopefully not put us all back to 30 again… ^^;;;;).

Ps 6 months was just a random amount of time, I’m not pretending to know when anet is doing it.

How about the amount of gems we spent on our fractal weapons and the transmute crystals? How about the weapons we got that aren’t skins (they say it’s a technical issue with these, but they literally could put an npc like the gathering tool one so we could exchange). These are monetary and reward issues. Do we deserve compensation? Or do we not deserve anything at all, according to you?

That tools things is stupid and those people shouldn’t have gotten anything at all. I’m totally on board with that. I really can’t imagine why they gave in to that one at all, let alone is short order. They wanted a tool for each of their characters, so they bought one for each. That was wrong.

Transmutation crystals are something you’ll likely need. Getting a few might really help you in the future, when you’re level 80 and going for cosmetics.

Actually trait resets are a priority over transmutation.

Because with transmutation you’ll need splitters if you plan to re-transmute and keep the skin. That will cost a lot more.

You only need splitters if you want to keep the skin and the stats gear.

But that’s not what I meant, the trait resets aren’t on sale on Black Friday and that’s what the OP was asking about.

I think the list might really depend on the level. For instance 1-10 is categorized is stupidly easy.
However 20+ it is pretty crappy unless you have a thief or whatever.

I saw the worst clipping ever today. An Asura, with normal sized ears, wearing the hellfire helm. I shoulda screen capped it, it was amazingly bad.

You can use transmutation stones (you can get these from finishing maps) and change them as you level.

Then, at 80, you have to get the gem shop crystals to transmute if you still want it.

I got a Occams chest on a 38 pre-patch, keep in mind that the rate for a 48 ascended box is ~2%, you just got really lucky on your 30

But last weekend, I met an amazing thief, and I have to say without them my day would not have gone as smooth.

maybe im weird but whenever a pug guardian joins my group im thinking to myself “i wonder if he knows what wall of reflection does…” because i rarely ever see pug guardians using the skills they should be

Those who run high level fractals did not do it because it was easy. If it had actually been harder, They would have said so, because it would make their lvl 50 accomplishment in 2 days far more impressive.

You really shouldn’t assume so much about players you don’t actually know…
