Yesterday…. In a fractal 48…. I killed baron Von scrufflebutt from downed and I didn’t rally, ( I hit him about 8 times with 1 and 2 times with 3 so…. Yeah) but it was able to give the rest of the team enough gumption to finish the other bots in time for me to bandage myself up….
….I think I was the only zerker, though…
I didn’t support my team enough.
Was this our run? If so, I was definitely full zerk, always am =).
I think there were 3 of us that didn’t rally off of Baron von Scrufflebutt (I think it’s cuz I called him scrufflebutt on mumble, and didn’t address him by his full title)
But then we rallied off of Professor Mew (Probably teaches at University of pheonix) so I’m not sure what that was about.
Naw, that was Saturday! I ran yesterday with kal and his girlfriend.
I dunno but ive done the same and not rallied before. But then the other bots have rallied me. So yeah, im assuming one of them (or more) dont count for rallying.

Meh, I also want to run with you good dungeon runners. Do I really have to post something against selfish builds in order to do so ?
I’m terrified of running with them. I don’t want them to know how bad I am.
However, on this thread, if everyone plays selfish builds, isn’t it true that the party should be fine? Everyone takes care of themself, everyone wins?
Hell NO! This is the freaking worst thing you could ever do!
Being focused on yourself and not being a teamplayer, this is what f—ks you up the most. This stupid game, unfortunately, is so easy that many self-centered idiots can get away with being selfish – not ressing and not bringing any support to the team; since there’s no true hardcore content other than high lvl fractals, you’re allowed to play randomly with no field awareness and not caring about anyone but yourself even in 48+… Meh. Problem is, they make any run a pain.
The party won’t be fine if you take care of yourself only, especially in pugs. They’re too fragile: if you go down, everyone risks a wipe. Can you imagine pugs 4 or 3-manning? Seven hells.

This happens to me if I try to change the sound settings while playing the game. Only time I can do it without crashing is at the character select screen, but I think it might be my computer’s issue and not the game’s. In other words, it might be a memory issue?maybe not though, I’m no expert!
I wouldnt mind opting out of all of the leaderboards tbh at least from public view.
Prehaps we need some simple options on our account:
1) Opt out from public viewing your stats / leaderboard (excludes friends in common)
-> You appear as ‘annonymous’ or something if you have opted out?2) Opt out from friends viewing your stats / leaderboard
- I dont mind my friends seeing (where we are common friends for example).
This allows us to retain some privacy and security to our status.

You got plenty of rewards out of doing high level fractals already. Why exactly do you think you deserve more?
We are discussing what we think we can reasonable ask for in compensation for our lost levels. Also, I wouldn’t get any of the rewards. So, I’m trying to show compassion for my fellow fractal player.
Why exactly are you so against showing compassion and understand toward those people who are losing something they will miss?
And as someone who admittedly will lose no levels I also think that some little exclusive badges of honor (title, t-shirt, whatever) would be a really nice gesture from ANet for those well-leveled fractal folks while they go on with the new (and from the sound of it very promising) system.

In all honesty, I’ve been on board with this from the beginning. I don’t mind at all giving these folks something I’ll never obtain because, to be fair, I didn’t earn it. The only real issues I have are with either pushing the new content so far out that most people won’t even bother trying to get to it or giving old style players a free pass past the new content – i.e. progress they hadn’t earned themselves against the new challenges.
I still like (at least the option of) the “and all I got was this lousy t-shirt” idea (maybe as a choice between two shirts?).
I love that idea too. It’s hilarious, sad, and totally represents, I think, the high end pve crowd as a whole.
So what’s the harm in trying now? There really isn’t a harm in asking. A lot of people keep saying losing the levels doesn’t harm anything, but neither does asking for a title or whatever, so that 3 years down the line those people will look at their title and say “yeah, I did that!”

Karma is a very good point. Maybe anet could give those who reached high levels like a birthday boost like thing for karma. 24 hours boost to karma?
I’d much rather get something exclusive and permanent like a title, than some karma i could go farm in a few hours.

Already told the maybe best and simplest solution is unique titles that are soulbound.
Easy to implement and everyone gets a title for each 10 levls completed so ( 40 , 50 , 60,70,80) a remark here you should have all titles if you are at 80 or so
I think most of us would be ok if it’s a unique 1 time reward titel as with the QP in pvp
As those Titles are souldbound even the ones that leveld multiple chars pretty high will get somthing on each charcater..
So that ppl that have multiples on 0-30 don’t suffer you can even start adding titles from 10-30.
That’s something…I still feel a title is not enough, but I think this could be something still implemented fairly easily in the time allotted.
ANET is big on not giving people certain advantages, which is why I think unique skins and titles go a long way…no advantages, but still gives credit to accomplishments done.
Totally agree. I think titles plus maybe. Town clothes shirt would be cool, or a hat.
