No. It used to have magic find stats. Because Anet never fixed it, it still is created with the “choose stats” when you soul bind it.

Just did our first 49 since the patch, all 5 of us got nothing. No rings (infused or otherwise), no weapon or armor chest, no fractal weapon skins, nothing…. We got better loot before the patch. The drops were also nothing particularly special. Not feeling it yet here either.

While it stinks yall got nothing… it was your only data point. Do 10 level 49s and have everyone get nothing and then I might be more apt to have your opinion.

AC path 2. It requires fairly exact coordination that’s frustrating as hell with a PUG.

…And that’s why speedrunners don’t do it. That path will never be “efficient”, so it gets ignored.

Basically, it doesn’t matter if all the dungeons suddenly had interesting mechanics and environmental triggers, the path of least resistance will get the most attention.

Even in WoW, there are some bosses that are little more than tank-and-spank. They serve as basic DPS gates to harder content.

Yeah I could see it as an infinity symbol on the UI + x number that you already have and a timer. When the timer ran out, would buy a new one.

I think this is something they might consider since the people who would buy this would probably do so every 2 weeks or however long it lasted so they’d still make the $$$

I’m not sure there is a problem with /whisper chat except for one group of people. If said group of people can not /whisper, won’t they just go back to /map chat or /say chat or mail?

Point is, if we can be offline and talk in /guild in order to avoid… those people, players would be happier. That’s the purpose. Player happiness. We can shut up /map and /whisper but without whisper friends can’t get a hold of you. So being offline to everyone but friends and guild members would be a way to be isolated but not alone. Which would be nice for a lot of people.

Longbow/Shortbow rangers are not efficient or successful when it comes to pulling their own weight in a party who’s goal is to farm content quickly.

I think that is the problem with the dungeon subforum. It’s not about playing dungeons, it’s about farming dungeons. If there was a Queensdale thread before the update, it would have been all about the train and not the ton of other stuff assiciated with that map.

I dragged a lot of people through the Aetherpath by now( I always PUG with my fiance, so usually 2 experienced players +3ppl who are doing the path for the first time). These guys are so thankful every time. That is much more fulfilling than finishing in 30min.

Because of the way this game is each class has a new way of playing for almost every encounter. A ranger has to switch their off handed weapons depending on the situation, from warhorn to torch to axe to dagger which provides a different gameplay. This is true for all professions (or most, I have no idea on warrior or engineer or necromancer). Skills and traits can often be altered in order to make a run easier (I’m thinking untraited wardens, Sam! And things like “do I need a might stacking ele or should I run staff? Should I run dagger MH for cleave or scepter for might?”)

When you say that we all condone playing all classes in a single way, static, you’re not really seeing the entire picture.

Also yes. We have a near 250 person teaching guild that has been largely successful. Please don’t knock what you don’t know.

So I need some brainstorming help, on my norn ele I duo with another norn ele, who is ice themed. I want to make mine fire so we can be Fire and Ice, without that ugly CoF/flametouched armor. I’m having trouble finding pants that don’t look halloweeny when dyed smoky/orange/yellow.

Anyone have any ideas they are willing to share?

My norn uses flame kissed with midnight fire, celestial, and amber dyes. I love the look of the flaming angel like wings on the back.

I totally would buy this. My 20 characters want this and hairstyle contract more than anything else in game.

It’s not a problem when it’s balanced with plenty of similarly skimpy armour on the men, or if both versions of the armour were available to both genders to avoid forcing a particular option on you just because your character does or does not have boobs.

The other problem is that outfits sexualised for humans do not really work on the non-humanoid races. Boob windows on asura and charr make no cultural or social sense for those races whatsoever. It’s lazy design. They do not have the same sexual or aesthetic drivers and it’s just silly.

I’d much rather see the time that is spent currently making massively gender-divergent armour sets set upon making armour sets really work and make sense culturally for the different races instead.

I’m sorry but at least on my asura the boob window looks cute and not sexualized. It’s an outfit it does not need to make sense culturally. Me being a Charr in a mad king outfit doesn’t make sense either.

Anyway revealing armors versus covering armors are honestly tied imo. There are plenty of both.

Yeah, like the Phoenix top is one of the classiest tops for female humanoids in game imo. And it isn’t nun-ish or skimpy. There are options… it’s nice that you can find both extremes as well as the middle ground.

The reason it keeps being deleted is because he wants to stop getting gold spammers. However I think it is a feature that should be added regardless. And I think the OP is only getting infractions based on people false reporting because this is a totally valid suggestion.

There has always been two versions of townsclothing, even for Charr.

There are other armors that modify the tail – Orr medium, cultural T3, just off the top of my head.

Like I said, the tail bit is really fancy looking – what Charr player doesn’t like further tail accessories? The problem is, it’s an outfit. No mix and match, and I abhor the rest of it.

But they are not armors that were released after launch. My point is there hasn’t been anything like it for Charr since launch, that there was a detail made specifically for Charr

Outfits have always been the exception to the rule that Asura and Charr females wear the male versions of armor.

That’s probably because they’re just that – outfits (and formerly townsclothing), not actually armor.

This is only true for wintersday and ancestral. Not the 4? Other outfits
