You should have only ended up with 13, which is the 263 you had, minus the 250 to unlock the Elite Spec…or you had already spent some HP on the Elite Spec, but not completely unlocked it yet. which required 57 HP, and left you with 206…it’s simple math, but then most people can’t do simple math anymore.

Since you get refunded all the hero points when they reset the line and this player had 263 and after getting all refunded they somehow got 206 so how is that not a 57 hp missing kind of thing mate?

You clearly dont read what this player is saying.

1 you can get tokens from spvp on farming maps easy.

2 They told you no new dungeons in expansion and there are no new fractals just scaled higher.

3 Raid are not designed to replace dungeons fractal are ( crossing fingers that we get new fractals faster then we got new dungeon paths…. Looking at you aetherblade path that replaced a path so not added any path since launch)

if there is a app like that it wouldent be profitable at all bud since alot of people would use it and press the price down.

Same as why africans and austrailians cant have a server they have to open 3 so you could wvw aswell bud.

Yea if you dident buy it from anet direclty you need to get a refund from the place you bought it.

Yes next time read the OP the end date for veteran slot was october 23 (when HOT launched) OP applied code october 21.

I agree to its lazy of anet to put in generic discription on the boxes since those other crafting professions can make the basic materials.

Yes you have mastery points but you have to do story inside heart of thorns to unlock to spend them.

We are looking at adding a way for players to earn Quickloot in WvW as well. We wanted to keep PvE progression (Masteries) separate from WvW progression (Ability Lines). However this means when a new Mastery ability is created, that might also be useful in another gamemode, it doesn’t automatically crossover.

Here is another question, since we are so dead set on keeping game types separate, why does autoloot work in maguma jungle, where the mastery is not even active. How about you all just bite the bullet, admit it was bugged and fix it… you will get a lot more respect from the community than trying to backpedal on something you literally said a month before launch.

The logic of keeping mastery lines separate breaks down if the autoloot works in the HoT zone.

Do content or spend gold sound like a good middle ground to me, why should you get it in WvW and if so why not open world pve?

Thats a whole diffrent kind of beast, I have no clue how hearing impared you are but tried adjusting the volume on individual speakers in ts? Ofcourse there will be groups later down the line that do it without voip but it wont be in the forseable future.

Not like I can’t agree with you that a voice chat can make things easier, but there’s almost nothing in Guild Wars 2 that really requires it. Triple trouble, perhaps? And I never got time to participate in beta, so I dunno about raids. Everything else is super easy if you’re talking about tactics. The main challenge in GW is to know your class and how to dodge things. As long as you know that, rest of it is all straight away. There are some small exceptions, you can (and you should) check them out on youtube before your first run.

Also I must say that I never had problems with entering TS during my prime time if I had one. I didn’t speak much (or I didn’t speak at all), I felt uncomfortable, but I was always on. The problem is that most of the guilds that require voice chat are addicted to it and completely ignoring other ways of communication. People from the guild I mentioned in my post didn’t even answer to private messages at all and important decisions (like who do we wanna see in our raid) were made hours before the prime time started, so when I showed up just in time – it suddenly poped out that there is no place for me because I wasn’t online when they were giving cookies.

I also had bad experience with people who say “no one forces you to speak”, but when you enter the voice chat everyone is asking why are you so quiet and almost demand you to “say something”, when they get bored. You know, it really feels like if I had no hands and they are asking me to wave.

People don’t realize what pain it is to be introverted and extremely shy. You’re practically locked out from all the world, you’re always feeling bad and uncomfortable (even if you really want to communicate and make friends), your own mind works against you. Sometimes it gets so bad that you need to take meds before crossing the street, but you’re never treated like you were ill or different, because you look fine and have a nice voice.

I’m sure you can find a friendly and understanding guild in this game, GW2 has lots of great people and I’ve had fun with most of pugs I’ve joined. But you have to look for it. Fail. Get dissapointed. Communicate with many people, until you find the right ones for you. That’s a long way to go and I’m not sure I can go through this.

Oh, and on top of that – my main is a condi necro and I’m really in love with this class since I started to play. Not every PvE oriented guild will accept that.

Good thing that GW is very friendly to people like me and I always find something to do on my own or at least without need in saying more than “Hi” and “Thank you”. I’m afraid I will never get a chance to participate in raids, tho, but we’ll see.

In my opinion, they should have just made more complete classes than doing these specializations. After all, the specializations are nothing more than alternate playstyles.

It is never stated that they are not viable, they are just not optimal meaning best in slot for many.

I personally think they will go back someday (maybe after next expac) and make the rest of Tyria glideable via an additional Glide mastery. “Free Range Gliding” or some such thing.

In theory it’s actually possible currently, the action to do so however is turned off in map rules. A few modifications would be required obviously, but they could be relatively easy.

IE: Checkpoint system for jump puzzles. Every jump puzzle could have invisible checkpoints that you pass through during completion. This means you would have to do the whole thing in order for the chest at the end to “unlock.”

Or impenetrable canopy’s could be added to open world jump puzzles. It would also add more ways to make the maps fresh, such as glide races to get from one area to another. Glide based diving locations and so on. A couple updrafts and you could have full map guild race activities in the sky and such. None of those would require any significant alterations to the existing map terrain. A few additions and some permission changes and tada. Brand new experiences (and adventures in Tyria instead of only the new maps.)

Yea they will totaly remake the whole core world for gliding when 24 dungeon paths was to much work to fix and instead nerfed to hopefully make people not play them.

My answer is dont hold your breath on this one guys, they will make new content not remodel the old.

The amount of pure gold gain was ridiculous, it’s better for the economy to farm places like SW.

The thing is…. running dungeons was fun, farming SW sucks.

Fractal rewards are garbage, rarely worth the cost of the key you have to buy to unlock the chests… in no uncertain terms we, the players, have been screwed for rewards on both dungeons and fractals.

They redid the way fractals worked, ruined the loot drops, ruined the reward for it and want people to do more of them… yet couldn’t add a single new fractal.

I have to say that’s pretty sad and insightful.

If its fun then you should do it becouse of it not the reward.

Since when have any armor skin been compatible with an outfit that cover all armor skins?

Remind me again how is this usable in spvp what loot drops there mate?

And yes it should work in wvw imo and probabely will be activated when the bugs are squished out.

And they cant exp these masteries in the shiney new stuff anyway since they need to do it in the old world and found the most effective way to do it.

They’re elite in the same way skills can be elite in GW2 and were elite in GW1. You can have only one of them equipped at a time. They’re “superior” to normal specializations in that they grant access to equipment and skills not normally available to the class.
