You use those hero points to unlock mastery tracks after you have gained enough exp to max out tier 1you spend 1 point.
To be able to to do tier 2 then experience fill out bar spend another 2 hero points to be able to gain exp for tier 3 etc
Shark fins? Now that’s in poor taste Anet.
Its like being encouraged to kill fur seals. Terrible idea to include this Anet.
Hey dont touch my baby seals they are jummy.
Cooking havent changed at all since it was implemented so those guides you found are up to date mate.
It always costed 1800 gems to switch from eu to us mate thats becouse they have to transfer your account bettwen server clusters.
mmm shark fin soup in the making
Yo do remember when wow did it they had to redo the whole core game with cataclysm so no I dont belive anet are willing to pour resources into that.
And I for one would rather they develop new content with gliding and mtn climbing or snowboarding or maybe even uboating in the future
its account wide so even if your guardian is training gliding mastery the exp you got on your ranger will stay in itzel lore
then you would fill up and get 2-4 items in overflow like usual when you open bags normaly and stop at 248-249 bags.
What was the problem again?
Might be that you deposited it into the guild bank aswell.
What I have been told you need that yellow drop and the boss yellow drop to craft the item
its like all the items you craft to make armor parts usualy.
I found this out by accident last night, nice would be good if it was implemented for more things like champ bags for example.
You know there was a bug that you crashed when auto looting maybe its disabled untill they fix it?
Or do it work in normal maps?
Its a collection item for revenant armor that you need to have to craft mistward armor
Your saying it was impossible for you to save 5 bucks a month? thats half a big mac meal in my country
The only reason HoT launch was smooth is because the sales were really below the expectations of ANet…
Not enough players to hamper the servers…
Do you have anything to back that up?
No just the normal “my sneering assumptions are facts” attitude so common round here.
And what makes your opinions any better ?
where is your proof on sales ? yea that’s what i thoughtAt lest we have post on ppl complaining of empty zones on peak times
And that can be becouse the 1-5 maps are full already so they cant get into it aswell, not that there is only 1 map shard up at this time.
its account bound so its 1 character only guys
you cant do anything with just two people anymore
it was in before change try takeing out another thing from bank and both should pop up
When the bar is full you earn a mastery point which you spend.
Then you select a new mastery so the game knows what you want to level up next.
Yes but thats not what the OP is asking if they are 20% from toping of then continue doing stuff only to notice that bar is full after doing 35%.
From what I seen its sadly wasted OP
Your logic is based on the idea that if there were no hearts, there wouldn’t be anything else in their place. The only thing hearts did for the player besides karma and map completion was add a few armor and weapon skins, and recipes to the game.
Guess what – meta events give karma. Participating in said events gives you % completion rewards and currency for that zone. New vendors give recipes and weapon/armor skins (and more) once the mastery for access is unlocked.
So to my understanding, there is plenty of direction and different forms of progression depending on what you want to do. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t still theme park, but the expansion sure has a lot more to offer than what hearts offered back in the day and now. Your whole ‘no hearts no direction’ argument really falls apart here. Find a different reason why you have a problem with the expansion, because this is bogus.
No, and even by your own admission, heart quests were added to give players the ability to actually progress. Otherwise people would be stuck grinding the same two events over and over, which is what people are saying they do not want to do.
No hearts were add because new player feel lost otherwise. Devs literally said this.
Right. To give people direction. Not to mention that without the hearts, people couldn’t figure out how to level up and progress to the next area.
You mean like people do in expansion content otherwise ppl would be stuck at the first tiny part of map and there are people on second and third already.
You need to max out legendary mastery yes
Still question stands: what for did people pay gold for tags?
For leading zergs in WvW, forming squads and for the supply commands.
That does not answer the question. Do you not understand that you can do the exact same with a Mentor tag, for free.
If I remember right pact commander is only pve so the wvw stuff is actualy a valid reason to pay for commander tag
Yes you need to go out in heart of thorns and get those mastery points on the map to be able to click masteries you exped upb100% to rank up.
Then you get to exp up yet another rank that need 2 mastery points to unlock.
Edit
Or you could stay in vanilla world and spend those master points you most likely already unlocked there by gaining exp in fractal of the mist, pact commander or legendary crafting mastery lines

Well, not everything is on the table.
Tribal and Stalward armors and other former spvp only skins that are still in the wardrobe
Norn female shoulder armor adjustments, weapon size adjustment, fixes to hair that clips with the character’s body (as bad as charr)
Why not mention Charr clipping issues
Dye on weapons or back items, at least the back items cause come on…
Alternate colors, shapes, themes of existing weapons for lack of dye
Alternate design themes for existing armor meshes (can’t win if you don’t play)
The keg throw at that one lodge in Wayfarer Foothills…
More real dungeons…All gone because people mistakenly think up and forward are the only directions worth looking in. -.-
Im just asking cause they said the were going to add it.
Yes but they never said they would add it in with hot.
May I asked why would you want to do howler have they finaly fixed it?
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Legendary-Howler-Bug-merged/page/9#post5558698
They did mention this that all the wvw experience would be turned in to boosters
Changes to Liquid World Experience
In the interest of fairness to PvE players, we didn’t want to allow any WvW players who may have been stockpiling liquid world experience to instantly rank up a bunch of times and immediately begin unlocking the new expansion hero challenges the moment the expansion released. To that end, we’re making the following changes to liquid world experience:
On patch day, any leftover liquid world experience consumables in player inventories or banks will be converted into 50% WXP booster consumables.
These WXP boosters vary in duration (15 minutes to 10 hours) depending on the type of liquid world experience item replaced.
The laurel vendor will no longer sell liquid world experience.
Daily WvW achievements now reward 20-minute general experience boosters rather than 250 liquid WXP consumables. These experience boosters are consumed immediately and grant boosts in all game modes, boosting experience, world experience, and Player vs. Player rewards.
In all other locations, liquid world experience consumables have been replaced with new, automatically consumed instant world experience consumables of equivalent value. While it’s still possible that on a rare occasion you’ll earn a keg of world experience, it’ll just be consumed instantly.

You cant find that in this game mate.
You need all the core trait/utility skills maxed before starting to unlock the elite spec anyway.
If you cant get them in the world due to to low mastery, do wvwvw and unlock random hot hero point by buying stuff from a vendor for badges + other stuff you earn in wvw now
Not got mine but i activated like 20 hours ago =)
considering we have know this since 18 of june how much influence have you been useing to still have 350k now?
They havent said anything about it so I dubt it
well considering they are releasing them in batches of 3 you will see one 18-24 weeks lanfearshadowflame
You need to remember how gw2crafts.net calculates its numbers. It uses available prices from the TP. There’s cheaper ways to get the same items from the TP and then you can recalculate what you should buy based off those cheaper prices. If you’re only leveling it up once, its probably not really worth it. I’m working on getting max on every crafting profession on all 45 characters so it was worth it to me to set up a spreadsheet to save as much gold as possible.
Also, instead of making stuff for the first 25 of every level, you can just refine materials for that tier as you pretty much get your money back.
Why would you need all crafting professions 8×45, aint 8 one of each craft maxed enough?
Anyone else feel rather shafted about our accumulated guild influence turning worthless on launch day?
I think the main issue is that we have no way to even spend it all before the change. I’m losing just under 350k influence which can translate to quite a lot of gold, if I could only convert it in time..
Its not worthless you can still convert it you should moan about guild merits tho since they are being completely removed not converted into anything.
I think op is saying they dont have a credit card, but arent there temp cards you can get to buy stuff?
Would be good to know if your eu or na, Im eu and have the last 4 ep left.
Since they are a dime a dussin why is it bad we can salvage em when hot hits?
So I haven’t played for about 2 years. I saw the expansion costs 50$ and now the base game is free to play. If I don’t buy the expansion, am I downgraded to a f2p player? Do I need to buy it to access vanilla content now? Do I get anything at all for having been an original adopter of the game?
In order:
- No. You’re still a paid-for player with all the rights and privileges therein.
- Nope. You own the core game. You get the core stuff still.
- There was a chance at a refund for your purchase of the core game, but that seems to have passed: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/pre-purchase-community-address/ I think they might still have the extra character slot available? No idea.
That was really helpful, thank you!
If you had game for over 2 years you were never eligable to a refund anyway and you will still get a character slot if you buy and apply code before friday 23d oct
Yes they do so spend them.

Yes and yes
the deluxe character slot is added right away, the pre jan 23d will be added the friday of the week you purchased so at release of hot if it continues like the weeks leading up to hot.
They already stated all the upgrades in your guild que will auto complete when hot activates and it wont cost you any extra influence.

Ahh, okay. Thanks
ANet just lost a sale until it’s 10 bucks or whatever. Shame, I really missed this game.
<3 to everyone
and then if you like story be prepared to buy each living story episode released for 200 gems a pop
How about if the forum puts in a picture of a kitten instead of the word kitten?
That’s a http://i.imgur.com/uvv7Ms9.jpg good idea. You son of a http://i.imgur.com/DQ2bB8B.jpg.
Now I want a kitten, kitten you
you dident destroy ascended stuff you sold it for a hand full of silvers, i wouldent be against them making luck be sold for 1 copper each.
Potions are artificer territory, not chef-made. Higher-level potions are already “possible” (even if they don’t exist).
And since scribe doesn’t even go to 500, i doubt they’ll boost chef or jeweler even if some of the groundwork for it is already there. Maybe in one of the mini-releases that follows, but not with HoT prime.
daddar said dyes and thats chef territory
do a /age
in game to find out how many days fermi
And again why is it so hard for people to whisper and ask what shoulder or chest or helm or weapon someone is wearing?
I might actually buy those silly things if you were able to use them on all your characters simultaneously.
Since you can only play 1 character at the time how hard is it to bank the tools and take em out with the new one you log in with?
