If you never add better equipment with better stats and new upgrades then new dungeons and monsters and events would be no harder to complete other than new mechanics.

It’s already more then a month that I hear ’we’re working on it’ or ‘the comming weeks’. All the while, the same bots that were reported 5 days ago are still in Orr, happily botting away.
The game is 2 months old for christ’s sake, the teams are working their kittens off on balancing, botting, and a million other things. Give them a little credit for what they actually ARE doing.
I’d much rather the prices of items go up because the supply is going down due to botters being banned; then to have a million botters running around and everything being dirt cheap.

I got 7 ecto’s from 3 rares last night…..so….
Every mob having either pull, snare, paralyze, or life leach gets pretty excessive.
It’s also quite ridiculous that even with the 25% run speed buff that an elementalist in air attunement has the risen can keep up with no issues what so ever.
High utility does NOT justify horrible damage.
And Curring, you can say it’s a L2P issue, but the fact of the matter is that in places like Orr you have to constantly be moving in order to just survive; much less kill anything. You have horrible damage and horrible health/armor to go with it. If you get hit with a yank, you’re pretty screwed. Especially with almost everything in Orr having either Pull, Paralyze, Cripple, or Life Leach.
By the way, I play an elementalist and can survive 95% of the time while killing things. But it takes 5x the skill of any other class for 1/5th of the results.

The point is that the damage potential for anything other than AoE skills for an elementalist doesn’t justify all of our other stats being so terrible.
You do realize our portal closes after like 10 seconds, right?
Also clones do no damage themselves, phantasms do the damage. And recently our phantasms all got stuck on a higher CD so we can’t mass produce them.

The chest in the mad king instance isn’t affected by DR; you just have kitten luck.
Or you know, they could un-kitten our damage and actually make us a desirable class to play.
I’m going to play regardless because I love the class, but for being a mage class our damage is horrible.
There’s no weapon skins in the store.
The whole reason for Anet to put them in the chests is so people will gamble to get them and spend lots of gems to do it.
With a B2P model + cash shop that’s how they get their additional revenue. If you want the skins open chests or make mad king chests. Otherwise quit whining. They’re not going to just put all the skins on the cash shop because that would kill their in game value and rarity.
So you spent money on a CHANCE to get something completely kitten meaningless as anything but a weapon/armor skin and didn’t get what you want; big kitten deal.
Get over it and either spend more money or stop spending and shut up.
You do know it’s only a 1% chance of getting skins, right?

In my honest opinion every class except Ranger should have their damage nerfed by about 90%.
You’re joking right? Elementalist has the most pathetic damage in the game.
For any of your complaining about the nerfs to the thief; try rolling a class like Elementalist who’s supposed to have massive damage for the trade off of having the LOWEST armor and health in the game.

I tried ele actually, after 4 rounds i was asking myself “why am i even bothering playing thief at all”.
