Short answer: That stat combination is called Celestial, so you want to find an exotic celestial longbow. I can’t check right now but they may only be available by crafting.
Long answer: Stat combinations in this game are standardised across items and each one has a name (2 names if you count ascended), which is often different to the name of items which use it. This is because the transmutation system means an items stats and appearance can be entirely unrelated. (Although sometimes it will be included in the name, which can lead to weird items like my Rabid Quaggan Killer Whale backpack.)

(I can never remember the name of the page but if you search for any of the combos, like celestial or rabid, the Wiki will redirect you.)
It’s not possible to get every stat combination on every item type (for example Giver’s stats are only on armour and Winter’s are only on trinkets) but it is fairly standardised – you will never find an item with stats which are not available anywhere else. At the very least it will be available on all other items of the same type (meaning all weapons or all armour etc.), it’s just a matter of finding out the name and where they come from.
Correct, anything with Celestial stats is Account Bound.
I’d still like to see a %-# conversion from the polls to get an idea of the overall WvW population.

I have seen them pop up just by the Sentry and attack the NWT.
As far as “server jumping” is concerned… seriously what good does it do to lock everything down… If the collective “we” don’t want little mostly “dead” servers then linking needs to continue ( sadly )… but if people want they can still swap from slave server to slave server anyway and “stack” that way. I like what has been posted in other forums here that suggest locking down the top 2 tiers and leaving the other ones to balance themselves out, if possible. Just a thought..
I think the idea behind this was to populate the lower population servers so that they’d stand more of a chance by themselves some day or for them to become a “host server” at some point in their population.
Eredon Terrace might end up being a host server for T3 or T4 with the massive population they have since being linked to BG. This was once an almost completely dead server not too long ago that benefited by being linked to another.
They stacked ET to play with BG. Loose that link and they will jump again.

Didn’t ANet say that they were going to make mistforged weapons available through another mechanism (which apparently is likely to be a new reward track)? I’m guessing that after the current PvP tourney ends and LS3 gets underway that we’ll see some sort of “Living Tournament” in WvW.
The Mistforged weapons are now available in a WvW track. The Hero version is not.
They used to be located in open field. I don’t know why they got put in the structures. But that was before they became synthesized too.
Well, since we have Hero weapons for wvw already, and Mistforged Hero weapons is the upgrade, I suppose we could have the precursor be a Hero Eulogy Tombstone, and the legendary be the Mistforged Hero Eulogy Tombstone.

There isn’t going to be any intrusive work done… if I recall correctly their methodology for DBL was to make low cost changes with big impact. This was justified by “because it is a live game”.
I’d wager that if we want a larger overhaul, which takes more than a trivial amount of dev time, it will not happen before bulk of the priority changes we voted are well underway, released or close to being released. Even then if they stick to their mantra it would not happen unless there was a poll and it was voted for. Structural overhaul of the map certainly qualifies as a major change.
So, until such a time the kind of changes we will likely see are the sort of stuff we have already seen or already know about.
THAT was why players wanted it to go back to Beta. The topography had to be made playable for all classes in all zones and that isn’t going to happen if it stays in the live game. Now it isn’t going to go back to beta because that was never an option to actually make the map playable for a PvP zone for all classes…

sounds like something that the wvw team doesnt need to be held responsible for. specifically, that is the realm of the balance team. and they seem more interested in pvp, where this is easily also an issue.

OMG lol I second this! and instead of making it a glider, make it a finisher to use, maybe like the golem beatdown finisher.
As for the legendary back piece, all in due time I suppose. The fractal and spvp were basically just introduced with the expansion, and well we know the story of how much work had been going into wvw before that. The wvw team is now playing catchup adding stuff that’s long overdue, going to have to give them some time for the “fluff” stuff.

Oh I got an in-game mail, I just felt since I don’t play WvW frequently and therefore don’t give two tosses about any beta changes to some Reward Track I hadn’t really tried out in that game mode anyway, it wasn’t my place to vote on it.. Guess I was wrong. :’)

We are having a hard time getting three new guildies into our T1 server, moving in from the (soon-to-be) previous paired server.
I don’t want to hear any suggestions about bouncing them around paired servers “if” and until our server is not “full,” either.
I don’t know about how anyone else feels, but this whole thing is getting messy now and few people are getting to where they want to go. :/

There have been two sets of changes we have yet to play on live… first with the patch that rotated it out and then with the patch previous to the last raid wing if memory serves —- the changes are in the patch notes

Linking is a permanent thing, now. The pairings change over time….think one of the polls established that the pairings change every 2 months now.

A bounty system would help change the focus of players to target the larger servers too. Something that reward extra loot, reward track potions, rares, for targeting the winning server or taking hard objectives.hmm this is an interesting idea that could work. Certainly worth pursuing I think.

This has been a subject for some time. No real reason to win a match. Even force a 2v1.

Instead of fighting with each other, let’s propose a fix to this change:
1. Re add the vendor for 1 week so people can make use of the Badges for one last chance.
Why? I think Anet communication with this wasn’t clear and noticeable enough, doing this would ensure everyone is happy with a last chance.2. WvW reward track vs PvP is REALLY slow, WvW should be buffed to PvP level.
Someone made calculations early, I’m okay with the participation stuff and time ticks, but make it go up to 500 EXP per tick so that’s on par with PvP level of progress. You can go +100, +200, +350, +500 progress scaling with participation. Right now WvW track progresses TOO slow and requires to waste a LOT of time doing something you may not find enjoyable.Those are my 2 cents and I bet a 100% that’s a change everyone would like.

I have a Guard with 3700 Toughness. In PvE I can see the bad guys and choose to engage or avoid. In WvW, I just got ambushed by 5 players coming out of stealth. Insta-Dead…
In PvE, you choose when to die. In WvW, someone else chooses for you.
Fix EoTM, then you’ll see an increase in WvW population.
That is a fallacy. Most will leave EotM when they start dying repeatedly or getting farmed and it actually leaves a bad taste for WvW especially when the 2 are entirely different play styles.
I don’t really understand why you can’t make your tag whatever color you want. The color scheme is a server decision and should not be predetermined. I’ve been on a server where the color dictates the role of the commander but 4 is simply not enough to encompass all the roles that are available.
Yes, they are supposed to be coming out with more colors sometime.. But you know, everyone is going to fight over having the pink tag once they do.

I’d pay 300 gold for blank icon and a drop down panel with all available colors in the game.
I’d humbly suggest that stockpiling Potions of WvW Rewards (obtained from WvW dailies) is a time-efficient way of obtaining the Gift of Battle.
Consuming 80 reward potions will finish a track, which allows you to obtain a gift of battle and some other loot. You can get 80 potions through daily achievements in WvW over 20-40 days, and that small amount of WvW activity will get you extra reward track progress too (so it is achievable in less calendar time).
It still requires them to be in WvW.
Meh. Constantly outnumbered. Constantly defending 10v50 or worse. Fairweathers taking the week off. People running around apparently naked, getting 1 shot.
We can whine and cry or deal and try to make things better. I’m fine running into an outnumbered fight with a lot of names I’ve learned to recognize on SoS and definately GoM as well. And if I’m defending a keep in a 10v50+ I throw as many ACs as I can get operators for. Throw a couple shield gens you lazy blobs.

I’m asking if you think there are too many maps to cover.
For example, would it be better if instead of 4 maps you only had 1 map to cover? One week, EBG would be the only map in the match up. Then the following week, alpine borderland would be the only map (only 1 not 3 copy).
Of course, the servers we currently have are too big to fit all the population in one map so they would probably split into smaller server. And yes, some maps were not designed to be balanced on all 3 side (ex.: Alpine borderland). But still…

The only way that will work is if you have a static population. There is just too many things in the players hands that can alter the outcome.
Would it be possible for tournaments to be an actual in-game mechanic? And those who emerge from the crucible and win in the “Hall of Heroes” (or something similar) would gain rank?
It’d be nice because rank is just about time spent in spvp, it has nothing to do with winning. It therefore means nothing. There is no prestige whatsoever to be had in spvp, and I think that is a huge drawback! Give us something to shoot for.

If you are trying to enhance something, you need to do that with people who specialized on the thing; othervise you do a selection problem which is most of the time the predator of the study.Nice statement you got there but still not very decent, the people who read WWW forums may be the guys who like or interested in www however there can be other players who don’t really care about forums (which are not really taken seriously even from developers; check their usage of reddit) and pretty active at www. The best way is to implement an in game module to make the representative sample vote and take decisions on what they play.
Lastly, yea becoming psychologist require self analysis; when i look back and think about what I say, I still feel convinced about my statement. It does not mean you are right if you got the majority (which is created falsely/inadequately); it only gives you to power to pursue others to listen to you, i’ll see you after you’ll face with empty borderlands.

If you are a psychologist you will know all about confirmation bias and should do a bit of self analysis. You will really need to explain to me how you backup your assertion that the majority who disagree with you are not “WvW players”!
I would suggest that those who bother to use the WvW forums and vote on WvW issues represent, on average, players who are significantly more active than the average.
And that is how the DBL was removed in the first place!!!

To be honest it would be nice if we had them rotate every week, one week alpine, one week desert, next week underwater….
They have stated it won’t be weekly due to it being a new build each time they would rotate. That’s why it will be quarterly.
Desert Borderlands to stay.Those that saying that Desert Borderlands killed WvW are lazy people that did not want to learn new mechanics or want changes at all.Well in fact,new borderlands maps are far better then Alpines and only problem with them were community that did not even want to try new maps.When maps come out there were lots of problems but those problems regarding quick access to all parts of maps are now solved.
What Anet doing now with this pools i simply LOVE.It use to be that VOCAL minority decide the course of actions and decide what our game will be with that "what i want,community want logic)…Now we see what community really wants,just cause few of you are vocal and spam forums doesn’t mean you are community voice.Borderlands to stay and be put into rotation !
Like I said in another post, it was that vocal minority that got you this communication. The map poll may have bit them in the kitten for it but remember “Be careful what you ask for”.

Are you crazy? EBG is the best WvW map. If you remove it the WvW population would easily drop by another 30%.

Even though Torqued didn’t outright say, in his OP he said EB was to be a desert map. I took it as replace EB with a DBL map. Not sure if he just means reskin it with a Desert theme but that won’t bring balance he mentioned.
