I just found out what my problem was. My toons moving too fast because of warrior’s sprint so it messed up the bomb’s. I’m gonna work with my rifle tell phase 2.

Nope for me it’s the bombs. I can’t pick up or throw orbs of light on the move and theres always a bomb guarding my orb of light which disappears if not picked up fast enough, plus there’s a match time limit.

Got it. Mistfire wolf was the MVP of the match.

Mistfire wolf is immensely helpful.

Problem now is meat head isn’t throwing the meat the direction hes facing.

On another note I can’t get back in the ring to try again fast enough, and god forbid if there’s a freaking line to the arena. It really should be a private instance, and when you die it should say “Would you like to try again?” with 2 options! “Yes” and “No”

How the hell has anyone managed to do it? I can’t chill him, his immune to immobilize despite what dulfy says not that her site says much on it anyway, and my cripples don’t last long and seem to fail most of the time. The meathead with the axe throws the meat every which way, and I can’t get from one side of the room to the other not to mention when I’m about to pick up the meat I’m pulled away from it.

On a side note does Kiel inherit Ashford’s ship, or does she have a ship, does she get a Lionguard galleon, or what?

All of gw1’s hammers and axes need to come back, in their original size. The current axes/hammers are terrible. Tiny, pathetic, and useless.

I agree with you there. All the axes are really small, and the hammers that match my armor don’t look very imposing. Like I’m running around with a tack hammer.

I’m sure they know. It’s blatantly out in the open. It’s probably a breath of fresh air from Anet to give us a boost. Plus zergs promote fundamentals on GW through playing with others.

That’s a good idea. It’s a little unorthodox, but it works.

I’d just like to say first and foremost thank you for the new wallet it is a godsend complete with rays of shinning glittering light.

There’s just one personal problem I have. I can’t put any gold in my bank now. I’m walking around with my virtual life savings. In real life I don’t keep any cash on me. I use my debit card for everything, because for me it really helps having the mentality out of sight out of mind. Am i gonna buy the things I want, or pay for a bunch of little inane doohickeys I don’t need?

I personally gather, and kill mobs in Malchors Leap, and Cursed Shore. With one character per day you can get roughly forty five to fifty silver in Orichalcum alone not to mention gems like ruby, or emerald orbs. Lotus, and Orrian Truffles sell for over a silver a piece.

As far as what I kill I prefer undead spiders for they’re incandescent dust and crystalline dust. Undead spiders, risen pirates, risen nobles, and risen peasants drop heavy moldy sacks which by themselves can be sold for a few silver, but there’s a good chance to get the best mats in the game, and a small chance at lodestones.

There is no other way around it when it comes to dungeons, and fractals. Hands down those two are the best options. If you have trouble finding a group go to gw2lfg.com there’s no registration, and you can post your group or type the name of the user on the site in your party box.

In my opinion lvling through crafting is much more practical when your lvling alts, and not your first maybe even second character.

Under the graphics option there is a check box at the very bottom called “Vertical Sync” that’s probably what your looking for. Then you just increase your computer screens refresh rate. This won’t work very well if you don’t have decent hardware on your computer. I run GW2 on a laptop so it’s not a very good option for me.

So I just saw all the fuss in the new event thread about the new weapon skins looking like the Fellblade which can’t say bugs me, ‘cause I’ve had the Fellblade since launch, I can pull as many of the skins out as I want, and I never see anyone use the skin anyway.

At any rate it’s got me thinking about skins that I would like to see make a return in GW2 from GW1. I know I read something from a staff member from Anet saying there’s plenty of new ideas they have lined up for GW2.

That’s very nice and all, but I’d really like my Obsidian Edge again. I paid 100 plat and 180 ecto in GW1 for it, and I’d gladly do it again for that wicked skin. So i figured I’d make a thread to throw around ideas for a return of the skins that make us feel warm and fuzzy. they are already selling Primeval, and Krytan in the Gem store. TP has the Crystalline blade, and froggy scepter which are dirt cheap compared to GW1.

The new skins very similar and nice and all, but sorry it’s no Fellblade. I can’t see the new skin being more imposing on my Char than the Fellblade.

I’m just saying it’s how we treat each other. Evon’s is an army of one. That’s all well and good. It’s just like how it’s very valorous in wvw to go it alone against a zerg, but you still die instantly, and don’t do anything practical.

Was thinking about how Southsun players are more than likely turning casual players away. This game is like a lamer magnet. Spawn camping, cheap shots, and sucker punches.

By the way telling people they should toughen up, or learn to play is a real good way to get people to vote with you, or even keep playing that aspect of the game.

You can tell us to do whatever and what not. It doesn’t matter action talks malarkey walks.

I’m voting for Ellen. I play on average 8 hours a day, and spend roughly $150 a month in the gem store. Try and keep up. Me having a life or not is irrelevant, and there’s a lot more like me.

I’m just throwing mud. :P It’s Suxons vs Kurkittens again! Pick a side, and kill each other! Although if this election is rigged an indicator may be the slogan “I Like Evon” which is a spin off of “I Like Ike”, and as American history serves Ike won; however to my knowledge without much if any low blow tactics which is a relatively new generational thing.

Ok this is weird. I tried to do what you said, but it said the path wasn’t valid. Then I double clicked the shortcut to make sure I didn’t screw up my registry doing it wrong, and my game updated and my game works again.

Lord, you can try guesting on another server, then try to log onto one of the Lion’s arch planted characters. If you get on, move all out of Lion’s arch. Then you should be able to return to your server. Please post back if this helped or not.

Heyytix, this seems like a different issue, you should start your own specific thread giving as much detail as possible.

It’s kinda funny you mentioned that ‘cause I did try guesting, but it didn’t work. I did get it fixed, but after I reinstalled the game. I would have repaired the files, but I couldn’t find a repair option. It took a few hours, but I got to watch a great movie I’ve had on my hard drive but never got around to watching it, because I’m always playing GW2 lol.

It was weird though. It was like between Orr and Lions Arch my character got lost in a space between spaces, and the game couldn’t figure out if my character was in Orr, or Lions Arch.

So there was an update not long ago maybe a couple hours or so, and my game was playing fine tell I died in Orr, and decided to head to Lions Arch, and my game crashed. I’ve tried it several time, and it crashes each time. I tried an alt I had in Lions Arch, and my game crashed. I tried an alt I have in Timberland Falls, and I can log in on him.

It’s interesting the extent you guys micro manage this stuff. I’ve found what personally works for me is to forget optimizing profit, by spending time watching the market, and sell to make SOME profit. In a nut shell when I just enjoy the game, and limit my spending all I have is profit ‘cause I’m hunting and gathering while something is pending in TP.

Anyway on another note I use Divinity Runes, and Ascended Accessories, because I’m always retraiting, and my favorite weapon set up is sword/shield & rifle which both use crit chance, crit dmg, power, cond dmg, cond dura, etc, etc. I do have a few different sets of armor, and with a Warrior it’s true; condition dmg isn’t gonna do anything for you with a GS. Condition duration however is nice for vulnerability, cripple, and immobilize.

Here’s my crowned jewel. My pride. My Guild Wars 2 flag ship. Careful when you gaze upon him for his beauty can bring the most hardened to they’re knees, and weep with joy. I have driven many a Skritt to insanity.

I saw someone else mention it, but not quite like this. Bring back capes! The first Ascended back piece that is guild oriented! The only reason I can think capes where left out in GW2 is people where joining guilds based off of caps, and guild with bronze, silver, and gold trim on there caps where selling guild spots to people.

A quiver fits medium armor class’s, and books go well with casters. Warriors, and Guardians it’s a little off. I know a book can fit a Guard, and a quiver can fit a War, but it doesn’t feel right on my warrior running around with a quiver when I’m using sword/shield & rifle.

If not capes then maybe a scabbard, or 3 swords on my back like the hero Anton (Which incidentally I found ironic considering one of the things he used to say is “Why do Assassins use two daggers? Because they only have two hands.”).

Race changes isn’t really applicable, because it mess’s with your personal story.

Hey guys I just wanted to share a few things I’ve found that a lot of people might not know, and I’d like to share them in hopes they spread like wildfire, and make our lives easier.

First off probably the biggest thing that makes this fight easier is the class I oddly enough do not see in there that often, and that’s the Ranger. When I was struggling with all the golem blocks I remembered a little patch note I read a while ago, and that is traps are no longer blockable. I looked at my rangers skills and sure enough they are unblockable. I tried it out and it works. Here’s some tips about trapping though: Don’t run to the golems to trap at there feet. lay traps while your running.

It’s prolly not best to use ground targeting traps, because it can get a little mucky running, dodging, and jumping while using ground targeting. I’ve also tried fast cast ground targeting, because the trait for ground targeting traps also makes the traps bigger, but even then the traps are not set as quickly as without it. The ground targeting traps work beautifully though through every regular fight though in the instance.

Don’t worry about the golems running past the traps it doesn’t usually happen, and teammates that have aggro can lead the golems through the traps. Your teammates are also gonna want to cover you since you’ll be one of the few dealing damage past the blocks your gonna get aggro real quick.

A couple more things that can make this dungeon easier is a guardian using a GS using Binding Blade, and a Thief with Scorpion Wire to pull the golems away from the laser beams which gives the golems the block buff if they touch it, and a Thief with stealth can rez without aggro, or lose golem aggro really quickly.

Here’s two more tips that I am not sure work, but believe they do, and that’s Necro marks being unblockable, and Thief traps being unblockable, but I have not tested these out.

I know some people may find this simple, and disappointing, but I hope it really helps some people.

No I don’t shout in towns. I wouldn’t have my Dungeon Master Title, or be doing lvl30+ Fracs if I didn’t use GW2LFG. I’ve also described in LFG that I’d like speed runs, experienced players, but I get invites from impatient people who just want to fill spots, and withhold that they want an achievement.

I have all the AR achievements, it’s doing speed runs that aren’t going smoothly.

Aetherblades retreat is turning into absolute garbage. Everyone wants Faster than Light, and Personal Space. People who get them don’t wanna do the dungeon anymore ’cause everyone else wants it. EVERY…SINGLE…TIME we get to Frizz everyone waits on the freaking box as if once someone talks to Frizz the golems gonna jump out and pull them into FAILURE!

Morale for this dungeon is non existent. I love the dungeon, but it’s starting to wear on me. We got people logging out at the last boss at the cannon barrage, and logging back in to get the Personal Space achievement.

Rumors are circulating like the plague. “No, no, no you just have to dodge horrik’s aoe, and not worry about when he’s on the cannon.”, “No you have to dodge the lightning cannon fire.”, “No that’s not it you have to dodge everything!”, “Oh it works like Horrik’s trick; you just 4 man Frizz. Yea, all you have to do is once your teleported in and you talk to Frizz one person logs out, and logs in, and waits at the start and they get the achievement.”

Even if people aren’t trying to exploit the system we got people on a merry go round at Frizz just running in circles, and not attacking. If they are attacking they aren’t doing anything, because they’re speced to survive. We also have people dodging, Horrik’s aoe, and leading the captain away from it. I’m guilty of it, I’m not the only one, and it’s ruining dungeon runs.

This dungeon is bunk. If Anets not gonna make it easier, than they should just GET RID OF THESE ACHIEVEMENTS. This is just my opinion of course, but I like to think it’s a very good one. Of course we’re gonna get the people who are gonna say “So it’s not needed to get the Meta Event.” Well people don’t care about the Meta Event alone, because as long as there is a bar under achievements to fill people are going to try to fill it.

Oh I remember you, you’re the guy with the 8,5k achievements points who entered the dungeon then left at phase 4 and we all got kicked out. I got my personal space the next run, so no harm done.

Yea sorry. Told you I was going to the forums; I think there was a warrior in that group who left after every barrage. I’ve heard you don’t have to do that, but it goes back to things being poorly described.

This thread made me think of the skill point you get from the Skritt who found the Dredge Mining Suite. I’m still laughing at this moment the way the Skritt says “What do you think huh? Sehehehehexy!”

I’ve been thinking about the Jungle Dragon. When I first started playing my Sylvari I just assumed it was a metaphor in the dream of the dragons to come. The Jungle Dragon in my opinion looks too much like The Plague Bringer. The Shatterer, and Claw of Jormag look nothing like The Plague Bringer who is probably breather-in to Sunless, plus I think Anet is a little more acutely original. I think the only reason the Jungle Dragon looked plant like is our Slyvari haven’t seen outside the dream yet, and may be coupled with thoughts from the subconscious of all they have known before birth.

I love the set on a male except the headpiece. It reminds me of implants from Kotor.

No, I mean he is literally sitting inside of what I’m assuming is my couch in my house in my home district in Divinty’s Reach. My Character is a noble, and he also talks to me as if I’m a street-urchin…in my own house…Kinda funny. XD

This reminds me of how I felt looking at the Ascalonian guards in Guild Wars 1.
