Anyone from FSP fancy a friendly duel or two? may be able to get a guildy or two involved for some 2v2/3v3 action too, I’m online evenings mostly.

(Also 5 guys can easily beat 6, especially if you have extremely good support. )

Yes, a 5v6 is basically an even fight in this game. It’s going to come down to class/build matchups and who plays better in that situation. Numbers alone won’t win that fight.

Maybe you should try running small groups in WvW before dismissing them totally, if you fail.. please feel free to L2P

I suggest all 5mans merg up and create optimuszerg to have a fighting chance. Also all zergs should sit on top of each other to abuse the game mechanics and really show of their skill. Aswell as use stealth curtain/group stealth to sneak up on people even when not stealthed because of another broken game mechanic and kill them before they even know whats going on. This is really how you will win at this game. NOT stupid 5mans….people…5mans…ROFL…idiots…

Oh great zerg king.. 5man teams in wvw are great, me and the guild i belong to run these pretty often to ninja keeps and cause a lot of hassle for the enemy.
We often fight twice our numbers and win.. and we have a kitten good time doing it!

Back to topic, a guardian and water ele are great additions, D/D eles fit in great with team play too, if not for the damage then for the boons they spam around the party and a mesmer in party is always fun!
There’s loads more combo’s that work well in a party but the best thing is that you work well together.

D/D Ele Commander with the occasional staff use.

Had some great fights with FSP today, was very fun repelling two assaults of Overlook Keep and attempting to take SM with Golems and then being wiped in the Lords room!

I’ve seen so many people Abusing that spot lately, really hope the Dev’s manage to fix it soon.. its ruined many a decent 1vs1 / 1vs2 for me!

I was running P/V/T with runes of the earth for armor, all Berserkers for accesories and it worked really well for roaming and small group action.

Hey all, been playing WvW for around 3 months now, currently I’m using D/D and Staff.
My build is 20/10/10/10/20 and I use P/V/T armor with sup runes of the earth.
For accessories I use all Berserker’s gear.

I rarely die and can deal a kitten load of damage atm, been thinking about more survivability for when I get a Commanders tag.

I’ve been thinking about taking 10 out of Fire and swapping it to Water, losing the +5damage Fire trait and picking up cleansing wave in the Water line.
Also changing my Berserker’s trinkets to P/V/T also, I know the trait point swaps would give me an extra 1k ish health, what kind of gains would the P/V/T accessories give me though? everything Exotic of course.
Also would these changes totally gimp my damage output?

Earlier i saw a thief glitch into our sunny, i got his name and tag but put it down to an error on his part. Well, i guess he showed his mesmer friends how to do it because we just had 6-7 FSP players inside our fully upgraded sunnyhill tower, such a shame.

Just saw an FSP D/D Ele with a [RtR] tag glitch into a fully upgraded Sunny, luckily he wasn’t accompanied by Mesmers.
Reported none the less.

@Darkace – Siege weapons have a 30 min timer on them before they despawn, a simple use of a skill will reset the timer.. boring job without any exp but your home server will benefit greatly from it!
Also as previously stated supply camps ect are pretty good for learning the basics.

For my D/D build i use a sup sigil of purity and a sup sigil of energy, no extra added damage but the condition removal and recharged endurance upon kills is really noticed.

Thanks to all the MS and FSP players who invaded GH tonight, it was a lot of fun – a reminder of how intense WvW can get. I’m a little sad that we couldn’t take back Hills whilst i was there… but there’s always tomorrow

Agreed, playing as a D/D ele last night I dived into a ‘small’ mob of enemies taking a supply camp.. turned out it was 20+ enemies balled up -_-

/Signed, even a tiny blue icon next to the commanders name in chat would help immensely.

Update: the Enjin client and TS3 overlays seem to have fixed themselves since yesterdays update, the Mumble overlay is still an issue.

Suggestions anyone?

As title says, Ingame overlays haven’t been working for me and Guildies since last Friday (25/1/13).. never had a problem before.
I’ve tried messing with general settings in each program to no avail.

I sadly don’t have any pics from my GW1 games to show you(it’s still only the platinum edition or whatever with both proph and eotn). But if you want nostalgia inside GW2 you are to go to the southwestern part of Brisban Wildlands and enter a small passage and talk to he ghost standing there. For those who haven’t been there I shall spoil no more.

But I really wish I had been old enough to have been dedicated to GW1. Unfortunately I was not.
