The option to cast aoes at target would dumb down the game a lot.

Seconded. Bad form to impose measures that hurt loyal players but are only a minor inconvenience to those bent on breaking the rules. They will find a way around it, while the rest of us are still screwed.

Also agree that childish banning is childish. I’m glad they are keeping kitten and trolls out of my game, but when I have to stop and think about whether or not I should even say anything to someone because I could get banned for it, I might as well move to North Korea. You didn’t HAVE to create a new email, it would be better security for any online account to have its own email. obviously this would be overkill. As long as you dont have the same email address and password combination on your guild wars account as you do somewhere else that could be compromised, your account should be fine.

Exactly, they need to get a team on item restoring ASAP. I’ve spent $70 on gems and most of that got changed to gold and I have lost a good bit of money in a failed transaction on the TP. All they said to me was there was nothing they could do, even though there’s logs of the transaction ><

Once i left that zone I dont really have the issue anymore. If full screen is the issue then id just rather turn off depth blur completely since I need to use my second screen seamlessly.

As a tailor, I can make the Major Rune of the Mesmer (Rare) 2 different ways.

First I can make it with a crystal shard and cotton, and a level higher I can make it with a crystal core and silk. Both items have the same stats, yet the second one cost me 40 silver to discover, and I can only resell it for 20 silver since it can be made a cheaper way :/

hmm well its really bad :P Il just leave off Depth blur for now but id like to use full graphics settings since i just bought a $1500 computer to run it that way

All the sudden after completing a mission, my game seems really blurry. Toggling off the Depth blur setting fixes this, but ive had this on the whole time and it just now happened.

Notice that even my own character, the asura in the middle, is fairly blurry as well.

Wanna bump this, my support ticket was answered however they said that they “Dont have the tools to refund money”. Which is BS cause there’s no way the developers grinded all their money when they were testing things. All I want is for a transaction to be completed which I know full well that is possible. Either send my money back or give me the venom sacs please.

Agreed there is something wrong with the tooltip, however as much as I would like a speedboost randomly while out walking, it would be annoying to get that boost randomly when you are attempting to do a jump puzzle or somthing. Kinda nice its only in combat, but it should give me something as soon as I enter combat and then every 10 seconds after(even though fights hardly even last 10 seconds..)

This game not being subscription based, your “im going to quit” threats don’t really increase the speed at which they get to your issue. No one is exploiting its just an issue with how they are processing trades. They will look into it eventually, no need to ragequit. Every piece of software has bugs.

File a bug report within the game at the time so they get your exact location and other data. Similar issues need to be resolved on a case-by-case basis according to ANet.

Until that time I always post in the message of the mail exactly what my items are supposed to be traded for, that way there is a log if there is some type of dispute.

You can use programmable buttons on your keyboard to bind skills together or whatever, the only stipulation is that you have to be behind the keyboard pushing the buttons. You can’t let it sit over night or whatever autoattacking a mob spawn.

Crafting! Discover recipes, youll be done with it in 15 minutes I had the same “lets jump off this” mentality and took forever until i finally did that lol

Thats what I was thinking! If some sort of tax to the rulers of your race was taken out from something ( TP or just daily/monthly) and eventually that turned into a new area because it was paid for by you, the tax payers!

Regina, could we get some screens some day of what these employees are doing when they are standing around in Tyria doing nothing? I always picture some type of awesome debug junk and model editing going on on the other side of that screen

They are collectible and in your collections tab at the bank. Yes its a bit annoying, if they are out they shouldn’t be banked IMO.

Eles are needed for dungeons with the massive AoE damage. Guardians are great tanks and make them a helluva lot easier. We can’t just have everyone the same thing.

I’ve currently played around 10 hours of wvw and have 44/50. Of all the achievements I find it to be by far the most expensive AND the most difficult. I hate feeling like I’m forced into wvw, to get thekittenmonthly chest. I wouldn’t mind if it was PvP but more than anything it feels like I’m just throwing down random aoes while measure my frame rate in FPM. I’m paying around 2s a death and getting no where near loot to make it worth it, its boring me out of my skull making me frustrated and angry.

Worst of all it feels like 90% of the time I’m either wandering round an empty map or attacking a bloody door, even when the door breaks the defenders jump off the walls and I have spent 15mins doing kitten all watching my character auto attack while getting literally 0 kills for it.

I really want the monthly chest but the past day of trying for this has instilled nothing more than horrific memories of wintergrasp in my mind and a desperately longing that I could get this achieve through real PvP.

Is there really no other way? No bug I can abuse to not have to go to WvW while getting this achieve?

If you were to abuse a bug/exploit knowingly you would be banned, which would make the achievement pretty unuseful to you IMO. What server are you on? And what level? I pay only 4 silver for my entire armor being damaged, how are you paying 2s per death? WvW isn’t hard if you know what you’re doing, its not hard at all to get the kills, just go in with a group and put down some AoEs and youll have it in 15 minutes.

This x1000. Its mostly because the TP operates as a webpage right now instead of native game code. Thats another issue entirely, though they could create a way for it to work.

First get to Lions Arch. If you have not been there goto the mists via your PvP menu and then there is an Asura gate to LA. Then head north and there is a circle of Asura gates and each of those goes to each of the racial main cities.

Is there a similar weapon set for the vigil? These sound interesting..

So far I have run AC and CM and id have to say that while I don’t expect rare drops from every mob, I feel as if at least the bosses should drop something better than fine items. Im not looking for quantity, just quality, and I should never see a white item drop from a dungeon when even the casual mobs(which are mostly elites) take a decent amount of time to kill. Currently the best drop I have gotten from several runs of these dungeons was a rare circlet which was worse than my way out leveled helm item at the time. The XP is the only thing that keeps me coming back.

Also, it gives people the option of joining guilds with specific focuses like WvWvW, events, roleplaying etc, and swap between them depending on what they’re doing at the time.

That is one major advantage, being able to split up people better. However the down sides really hurt the smaller guilds, like a lot of people have between their personal RL friends. If i switch my representation to a bigger guild, im cutting out influence that my group of friends really need to thrive. We have about 12 people in my guild that are all local friends, and we are only able to get about 1000 influence each day because of people’s schedules in being able to play. Thats not bad, but if just 1 person swapped out repping another guild for just 1 round of WvW, thats a lot of influence that we lose.

Sure, that is the downside. But the upside is that your friend can still play in your guild (with his RL friends), and also partake in large WvW that he likes with a large guild. He gets the best of both worlds. Playing with friends, and PVP. Put yourself in his shoes. Would you prefer he has to choose between playing with RL friends. or leaving them to join a larger guild? That’s a bad position to be in…

Rushing to the end probably wasn’t what you should have done with this game. All the content is on the way, and rushing to finish it all so you could experience “more” doesn’t make any sense. It is your choice to play how you wish but you can’t be mad when you made the choice you did. I’ve played 160 hours since headstart, plenty of time to get to max level, but I’m not going to blow 5 years worth of content creation in a weeks time. Someone else already got there first so the brag factor is out the door. The market will fluctuate hard in the first few months maybe, so expect either extremely huge or disappointingly minimal results for now.

Same, most of our people weren’t even repping us by default for a few days, so that was wasted influence. On top of that there is guild loyalty. Whos to stop someone from taking everything from the guild bank and putting it into another guilds bank? Sure theres a log, but the least ANet would do about that is ban the scammer, I doubt they’d take the time to reverse the damage as well.

Take 10 minutes and craft some stuff, discovering a ton of recipes. That’s how I got it after several times forgetting that I am trying to achieve 100k xp without dying and jumping off the Rata Sum Cube lol.

WvW will get much better once the 2 week matches start. People will actually spend the 50 silver to buy waypoints at your keeps because they will last more than a day.

Dont use the mystic forge then? It doesnt have to have anything to do with your game, I’ve only just glanced at it.

You have to WvW to get it. There is no other way.

Its actually cheaper to buy a whole new account than buying 5 more slots+ bank space for the new slots

Which mobs drop linen scrap? I assume some type of humanoid..

What are your issues? There is no “bad programming”, it works perfect for me, must be your hardware or your network which are your own problems.

The exact equation is not yet known but what it does is the higher it is, the better your chances at finding rarer loot drops when you kill something.

Play what you enjoy playing. This game is more based on personal skill than having the “best build”. Any profession can perform nearly any role be it tanking support or damage.

How do I get ANY titles to display? I should have a ton according to my achievements, yet none of them are actually selectable in the Title drop down I want my “Warmaster of the Vigil” Title!
