Not that it helps, none of the offhand does footfalls, and if you have two legendaries on the mains take over. So FSP is off hand. Even say quip as off hand does nothing, that could be seen to the Devs as they have the turning page effect still on an offhand legendary. Just my thoughts, but I so think it could benefit from a touch up.
Lots of people thought it was too easy. So the messed it up. Then to get event brought out ascended lol but I’m in your boat, if I don’t grins karma every night I can’t finish my weapon.

I love this thread, I’ll say this; I was so excited to hear that the patch was delayed. I work in California, same time zone as A.Net. Score patch didn’t launch at my LUNCH time. I was at work, I got to be home for the first live patch I could join not 6 hours later after work.
People complain about it’s late, try being at work knowing everyone else (ok not everyone) is playing. My whole guild is west coast players we get the finger every patch cause we are working. We got to be part of this launch for once.
I hope I can join on a few others that patch later then 12:01pm PST.
And so what is blizzard or bio release EU at a time covenant for you, key difference this is NOT either of those companies. And my buddy plays WoW she’s always saying how patches are late.

As I finish my legendary, I was considering ascended armor. I don’t play fractals but I love one of the skins and seeing how I like cosmetics I want that look. Do we get to pick the skin we want or is it luck of the draw?
Also can we obtain the skin without ascended?!? I doubt it but it can’t hurt to ask.

Oh no I completely understand, you earned everything else in that chest. Just cause YOU opted to not use a piece given to you.
You now want to know what they are going to replace it with. They are replacing it with nothing. As if you never got it. There is enough stuff that is not sellable like all the PVp skins we got also. Just cause we opted to not use them why should we benifit from then. We had the option to use them. To earn stuff from them but as non PVp players we decided to not use them. Why should we be reward for something we opted to never use?
The point is you were happy with them just sitting in your PVp locker until now. And now that they are removing the option you already opted to not use, you want a replacement option selling or having them traded for a booster you want. When you “could” have used them from the moment you earned them. Just cause you opted to not it’s not their issue to remake you happy.
I don’t use armor boosters or kill boosters, I have a ton also, they sit there in my bank. Just like the PVp glory boosters sit in my locker. All 100 of them.
Omg your crazy you didn’t spend gems on them. Just like I didn’t I have 100 of tees boosters. I don’t play spvp, so I won’t care if they are gone. What makes you so entitled to think you get something else cause YOU didn’t bother to use them. Go PVP with them, unlock some skins, but tomes, buy what ever you want. It’s not The Devs fault you didn’t use them! I was also given a ring which I removed once a better trinket (ring) was found or made. You don’t see threads of people demanding something for that.
I also got blueprints for WvW I don’t use, and skins for weapons for PVP, stop whining about an aspect of the game YOU personally opted out of. Had they never told you glory was being removed and just took it out of the game you would be happy as can be since you don’t play PVP.

5 To see what paths I have finish on dungeons / and which world boss I have killed so I don’t repeat.
6 a new lvl of salvage-o-matic
7 a shared bag across all characters so I can use all my unlimited farming tools and salvage machines
I downloaded an app on my phone so I could watch when we owned what I needed. Took me four days to finish WvW mapping. That saved me tons of time not having to take space in EB when someone who likes WvW could be there. Selfish I know but I’d ratherb e selfish then hate what I was doing.
So worth the gems spent on it. I get more gold if I keep farming then when I go back and forth to a shop. I keep on my path, I don’t lose time, and I don’t waist space only one slot used the whole time.
And I noticed hes a chatty little automatic thing. The other kits don’t have such a personality
I’m still lvling my Mesmer and I have been playing this game since launch. I have lvled 5 other professions to 80 geared well not ascended but well. That one seems to be taking forever.
It does get better I noticed a lot of professions have a stagnant lvl zone I saw it on guardian from 40-60, it seems 50-70 is my mesmers slow down phase. But I may be playing wrong. I try to keep decent armor with each major re-trait so when you can get a new book upgrade. Then max what you can at 80.

I also gave up on collecting dye. I have spent a small in game fortune on dyes 4 celestial, 4 abyss, and I even sold my flame dye….. Cause I was sick of on lying having it on one person. If even go as far as saying if they change it don’t refund my money… It was how the game was then just open it up on all now….

I saw a norn light armor once.
I have played guild wars 2 since beta weekends. I fell in love with the game. I still love the game. And I can only hope at some point they could add a bit of pre-story to the game. Everyone talks about how the game is estranged from the first guild wars. And I can agree and hope they change that.
What I think should have been done at least for the people who have linked accounts, our hall of monuments here sucked. I worked darn kitten mine as did all players. Why can’t I read about the actions of my ancestors?!? Is there no record of them? Just a ghost who saved stuff for me? Can’t I see what my family did for us, guide me from the mists? I creates a full story of why my rangers shared the same name.
What happened to my guild (family) hall? Mine was in the shiver peaks, did it get burrows in the snow? What happened to my armory? Why can’t I have my tormented bow/ or any other weapon why didn’t the ghost save that for me?
Come on guys it’s not crazy hard just crazy. Show me what I did and help connect it. I read about ebonhawk… If I can read about Gwen why can I find a book that ties into my connected character. Nothing insane, just rerelease major stuff from eye of the north if needed.
And if you don’t have linked accounts you have only played guild wars 2 then y’all pick up as normal. Your story is golden but give my something… Other then 3 mins of seeing stone Ogden….

I loved gw1 I only played for 3 years. I loved Lions Arch and Eye of The North sooo much. I loved seeing everything about LA, this variation ( and yes I read the books) has such a gross and flee market feel. I hope that pyscho sylvari blows it all outta the water. And brings back the ruins of LA from the depths. Maybe she saw a murssat/ or kilbron… And it drove her looney. Just as long as that aweful designed city get blown to bits! But that’s me… I’m one lowly player.
I have not been able to get on now for 2 hours. Any update from a net would be nice.
We have order armor and order weapons. I’d like to see some order skills. I want my order of whisper thief to have something neat that I learned from the order. Or my vigil to have some kind of skill taught by my war master. And a tome skill for my necromancer that I got from the priory…. Something to fully tie me to my order.
I have cultural skills… But no order skills….

I find my ranger to be the best visual class I play. My necro being second. I play and longbow main weapon and secondary with sword and dagger for melee fights.
Also if you are not a big WvW player they recently changed gift of battle. If I recall you need to be lvl 30 of WvW and have the 500 badges of honor.
I started my legendary on January 1 I have been a casual player since beta. So it’s finally the time I feel ok crafting my legendary. First priority I would agree is getting the precursor, put in a reasonable buy order if you have the gold now, it’s a great way to save some gold and hide it away until you have the rest. That’s what took me the longest aside from the karma grind.
My server seems fairly populated. Always have commanders doing world boss circuts and seems someone is always trying events. Lots of time gotta ask on /m map chat to see if others are near you. Ooh I’m on CD.
Actually you can stack a total of 1,000 now if you purchase the stack expander things that are for sale on tp. Each purchase of the expanders add another stack to your limit with a max of 1,000. I think if anyone who has them in any number should be allowed to buy to their stack limitations.
Can the Devs please please please, put in account wide use for gem store skins. They had it for costumes in gw1, they had it for hats. Honestly why don’t they make this game as accessible as they did their first game.
I completely understand why they won’t for exotic armor and ascended armor. But I either paid for the gems or converted my gold to gems for the skins. I can’t delete the ones I’m not currently using. Cause it’s a waist of my efforts…. I’d like my inventory space back please. I already own enough bags and bank slots. Give us a small break here!
I roam solo on my lvl 52 Mesmer. I see no issue I win some I die some…
No thanks, it doesn’t take overly long to lvl. Grab some booster, some food, and some oils/stones. And it’s nothing but a few map clears.

Wow, I was looking at ascended but with the karma grind to finish my legendary who knows. I don’t mine exotics, I’m not a hard core player.
My ranger is my “Main” if I had to classify. It’s the one getting the legendary.
Skins, layovers what ever you wanna call then. Sine thing to make the grind ok. Something you don’t need to convert hind to gems or bust our the wallet.
In guild wars 1 there was a ton of stuff in a fully equipped guild hall. If they add it here I would like to have crafting tables there, merchants, guild people (weapon, armor, emblem changers…) and a black lion person. That way myself or my guild don’t have try and load into a main city.
Would take a lot of lag in LA out. I loved picking a new theme.
Thanks everyone from what I see, as long as I don’t expect to get all my characters to top tier gear and weapons. The game is ideal, one character gets to be spoiled but not all at a reasonable time frame.

I keep reading this, expression I guess to call it. People keep saying that GW2 is not alt friendly? How can that be? If the game was friendly for your “main” how is it not for an alt?!? Call me a noob, idiot what ever. Just someone explain this to me. I have 14 characters…. The game is just fun on each of my 13 “alts” as it was on my first character.
Maybe I don’t know what Alts are. I’m gonna go with that….
Thief is wicked in WvW, ranger is a bit squishy for WvW but that’s also the player. I play my ranger in WvW I win some I die some. I play with a sword/dagger combo in WvW while fighting groups and I use my bow to take down towers and keeps.
Lots of people don’t like ranger, I dunno why. I dun care why I have every class 5 of them are lvl 80. I hate engi… Not sure why I also hate warrior.
I had no clue what end game was. I have a few level 80’s decent gear not ready to start the ascended grind. I am nearly finished with my legendary. I’m still learning dungeons and how to fully play each of my characters. Learning ALL of their weapons. I have a ton of achievements to finish… It’s crazy how much there is to do and they always push more out.
How are so many people finished with everything and asking for more…
I’d like all weapons playable, also add crossbow, scythe, pike/spear, claws, brass knuckles, anything really…
Each person is different, I love ranger, guardian, and my ele. I think it has a lot to do with your main from GW if you had one.
