Solo roaming: ele and thief are meta
In April update datamines find commander tag icons with different colors. But they were never included ingame.
There are a LOT of things what not activated… Its business, always give everything drop by drop. If you give too much after that you always must to give more.
For trolltanks or pug guardians but i cant image it atm in guild groups.
Pls remove normal xp and loots and give us more badges, things what we can buy for badges and titles, reward system
I think the actual system is not the best but not the worst. I think it could be better if the towers, keeps upgrade, downgrade automaticly if you flip camps or players upgrade it manualy by building them

Everybody hurt the wvw is he is on my side and not lvl 80 with proper gear and build. Upleveled enemy is just a free kill.
In HC gameplay you need expensive runes/sigils. For the runes, sigils you spend ~100 gold/alts. The foods and stones are ~50silvers/hour. We spend a lot while earn only the 1/3 or less as others in pve. Bound sigils, runes (or pvp like character building) would be awesome
A lot of new players try wvw in the first days with their first low lvl character and because the bad experiences they never come back. A pvp like character building would be better. Max lvl with max gears selectable stats and rock

Hundreds of bags. Befor one of 8 bags droped, now 1 of 20.
They often change the loot without announcements. If anybody remember the times befor wvw ranks… If you got 2 rare on the same week everybody called you cheater. Now 1 exo and 3-4 rares a day
They just reduced the t6 drop from lootbags

I want new things in wvw but pls no pve
The only viable damage weapon for rangers are the shortsword. Longbow have very low dps. Other side ss is the uncontrolable suicidism, mainly in wvw. Pets die in fights, spirits die in seconds… Ofc you can stay far away but in that case no buff for you and you not buffing your allies (ahh, rangers have no team buffs, sry) and longbow is a terible low single target dps as i mentioned above
And dont forget: we have no real cc. Staff necros have better weapon skills as our traps.
The problems with stealth:
- its an offensive ability
- its a defensive ability
- its an escape ability
- its an engage ability
- spammable, not just a one trick pony
- you can trait it for extras
I hope they finaly balance ranger :/
Its not a sollution for the coverage problem. 8 hours matchups would be better.
I care about 2 things. Rangers and wvw cdi. And what happened? Nothing. There is no 2 way communication.
In gw1 GvG was a 8v8 game mode. The goal was to kill the enemy guild lord npc. So everything is ready to make a gvg in spvp. We just need more maps with lords and a ladder.
Gw1 was dual professions. I miss that and the body block system.
Btw this game realy needs something realy new. No serious changes in the last 2 years.
With 1v1 builds only nabs do big scale battles. With zerg builds only nabs stop for 1v1. Its like a submarine and a helicopter. Good in different areas. If your helicopter is under the see you are kitten…
In gw2 there is no reason to stay within range level of your GF. The system automaticly scale you down if you are in a low level area.
Btw crow pavilon is the best leveling place atm. But dont open the chest until lvl 80.
Eotm is a game mode. Its a Karma and champ bag farm. Its not problem. The problem is with the too much badge and wxp. There is no reason to play normal wvw. There is no reward
no unique skins, unique titles, no massive reward (ok, 10 times more as the begining, but stil 1/5 of normal pve and 1/20 of living story) no achi points etc… I play wvw since the T -3 day and i love it but i want everybody to know what i do.
Scepter/dagger is the new meta for ele. Thats a beast. It melts down everything what not flees with 735km/h
What if the new trap is somewhere between a trap and a siege? A deffensive bouble what absorbs every incoming ranged or aoe dmg and cc for X time or absorb Y amount of ranged or aoe dmg and cc effects?
The heavyly sieged objects are just kill fun

Ranger=30%ele+30%thief+15%warrior=75%
Guardian, warrior, ele, mesmer. All of them good in endgame pve and small team wvw and pvp.
In the stream they told rangers have the greatest ranged dps… Ele have 3 time more and its aoe. Scepter/dagger ele have 90k spikes and can rotate stuffs, staff eles have a little less, but with more range and radius + tons of fields on weapon skills
Rangers should be: deadly ranged attacks with high physical dmg aoe if traited, deffensive melee gameplay with conditions. Nature themed aoe cc spam and offensive team buffs.
Weakness: low deffensive buff output, and lack of fields and finishers. Low ranged condi dmg, low melee physical dmg.
Sieging a t3 object take hours even with 5-10 defenders. 1 treb and tons of sup ac and CU.
I think every object should have a fix tier level. For example: if i capture my sapwn tower thats automaticly become t2. If the enemy capture my spawn the tower will be t1. The upgrades should come and go when somebody flips a camp.
No siege decay? Ok, but limit the sieges in one towers to 3-4, 6-7 in keeps and 10-13 in garrisons. Fighting agains fully sieged t3 objects are not fun
At Hills, if you move to south at the cata spot. There was 5 enemy at the very edge. I had hammer and i eqicked the stomp skill just for fun. I swinged my hammer 3 fell to death, stomp and the last 2 followed them.
But the most epic happened ling time ago when i played ranger at the west supply camp. My friend fighted with 3 enemy they downed him and all of the started the finishing move when i arriwed and pushed all the 3 down from the edge with my longbow

I think that ANet already learned that they shouldnt write something before thay got it ready to upload into the game.
Edge, account bound wxp was ready month ago befor they released, new masterys are ready since 4-5 months or more. They just delay everything as long as possible.
I also feel the lag. Looks like everybody press auto run and went afk and after a time the game dc me or everything what happened during the lag flash up on my monitor within a second.
Its war. War never adept to you, you must adept to war.
First suply mastery. Gaining back supply if u use is epic. After that the first 2 115 points traits. +power and vitality. If you finished buy ram mastety. In eotm you level 2-3-4x faster wvw ranks as in real wvw. Once i made 100 ranks in one week on borders so if you karma train you easily do 100-200 lvls a week

Spvp should work as random/team arena from gw1. Random map and game mode. Now everybody builded around point defense/atack. Random maps/modes can improve diversity
remove normal xp from wvw, add tome and scroll of knowledge vendor for badge. problem solved
And how should we get the skill points needed to craft superior siege?
through the scrolls. they give a level, which adds a skill point.
I think that really is the optimal solution. In fact, I’d like to extend it to gold as well. 100 badges would equal 1 gold, as per the prices from the siege vendor. I don’t know how well it would go over, but I think it would be better than seeing people use WvW like an queensdale champ train.

You can lvl as hell in pavilon. Go around damage every bosses, buy lvling tomes from tokens and open bags with a lvl 80. Money+ lvl.

Salvage o matic is the wvw players best friend after stability
Pls remove xp from wvw and give us tomes for badges. Lvling in wvw is bad for everyone. Dead weight for friends and bad loot and funbreaker for enemys. And lot of players never touch wvw after finished lvling becaus of the bad experiences..
I think the players should be rewarded, not the servers. If i do more, give more (repeatable achis with token rewards)
There are less and less warrior in wvw. Fact.
