Seasons could be OK if they give rewards after personal gameplay not for servers. Repeatable achivements, real rewards( example lvl tome after 50 kills or something like that) more reward after open field battles, less for pvd, drastical decreasing in the number of sieges (2 treb 2 cata 6 ac in a tower is a joke and defender trebs/catas hit through gates lol)

Let sieges used by everyone and captured by any enemy who becomes the new owner.
Obsidian is the endgame jumping puzzle. If you want an easy ride call your frind. Its an mmo not a single player game.
Longbow tick not small numbers (but not big) but its a very slow weapon and single target! One of the lowest dps weapon
Mesmer is good for 1v1 and vailbot for wvw and time warp in dungeon + boon clone.
Warrior good for everything
Ele: field spawn in wvw and met shower/frost bow in some situations
Warrior for wvw and pve meta. In pvp engi is better a little
Ranger is bad and always will be. Every game need a class like this. You see them and know, you are better.
I already changed and it worth it
I think everybody know the Predator movies. What if invisibility is not a total invisibility, just something like in the films? Just let them to hide forever! We will find you!
Or give them more dodge/evaid and nearly completly remove invisibility (from mesmers and thieves too)
Ranger always the last in the line.

Wvw: Gwen classes (guardian, warrior, elementalist, necromancer) but no engi and NEVER ranger
Pve: guardian, warrior and no necro, engi and NEVER ranger
Pvp: anything except ranger and mainly engi, mesmer, warrior
And rangers—→ will always scks
Some people want trinity because they need a dps and a heal bot and thats all.

Cc is not problem in any organized group in wvw. And useless in pve. I dont know how is it working in pvp
Im not a roamer, roamers eat me. Few days ago an engi and an ele duo attacked me at the bridge front of hills. I agroed guards than beated them to death and stomped them with my fancy golem finisher. Its war. Kill or be killed.
Eotm is a karma train mixed with chempa loot farm and a bit of lvling farm and a slice of wvw achi farm. I got as much badges there within an hour with just kitten ing around as with 2 days of hc wvw on borders. Lol

In gw1 if the enemy was good monks they cant lose. Gw2s best decision to remove them.
You can choose your role. In wvw support, spvp spike-rupt etc. Not as rangers
Unorganized pugs vs unorganized pugs nothing matter, but a real team run as a big ball. Buff, heal, focus dmg. If you dont or cant run with the ball enemy snipers and zergballs will hunt you. The rule is simple: always hunt down the squishy backline first! And if you try to save your life you cant deal damage. Positioning taking time and time is damage my friend!
I run with 3.1k+ armor and i farm the lootbags as the candy bars at halloween

Its tipical new wvw players build. 0 armor and everything on raw damage.
If you want to play solo on wvw you need condi. In teams you need ARMOR! Use toughness gear. 3-3.2k armor! If you want to run with the guys trait on marks and wells! You damage doesnt matter. If you like the big, floating nummbers go back pve
Too low armor. You need minimum 3-3.1k
What i realy expect is the solving of the coverage problem.
Stealth is a bad mechanism. Press to flee press to attack, press to make a coffee…
Its only give you supply if you spent your last. Sometimes i gain back 3-4 times the last tick but never sooner
If somebody says class and build doesnt mater that never played wvw. X warrior 2X guardians, 1-2 mesmers 2-4 eles 3-6 necros and end of line. CC, team support, heavy armor builds.
My problem with the system it rewards servers, not individuals. The pve player gain more in a wining server as a HC player on an other one
Never got ascended weapon or armor chest. I got twice ascended rings, one pvt and one crap + 1 horn with useless stats.

Pve players dont need currencys to play. They gain money for it. We must to spend it for sieges… I think its not a nice thing
For wvw the hammer is the must have! In pve yes… Hammer is meh…
What i use: knight armor and weapons hammer/sword+wh soldier/dolyak/melandru runes or just ruby orbs with a mixed set of pvt/knight/zerker/celestial (your pick) trinkets. The point is the 3.3k ++ armor (i have 3.6k)
I use 1/0/6/4/3 traits and if you dont have an organized guild zerg i suggest healing signet, balanced stance and endure pain, dolyak signet + banner elite.
If you want toughness you must be a wvw player. Check wvw forums for builds. Btw warriors are the thougest nuts

There is no the best. You need warrior, guardian minimum. 2-3 good ele and 3-4 good necro make the life more easy. 1-2 mesmer for the utility skills. The others are just weights.
And never forget: in wvw stone beat paper
Im a wvw player. I see things a little diferent. I prefer large scale fights. Condi bunkers there are jokes. In 1v1 they eat me. If the enemy have 5-10 roamers whos always hunt solo players that hurts a lot but this is a IRL ractic. Guerilla fights are the part of the war since people kill people
Guard build: 0/0/6/6/2 or 0/0/6/4/4 staff/gs or staff/hammer with hold the line and stand your ground + healing book elit. Pvt armor + soldier runes trinkets are cleric or pvt or celestial or mix.
Warrior if u dont have a guild group: 1/0/6/4/3 hammer/sword+horn healung signet endure pain stability stance and dolyak rune. Knight armor with dolyak/melandru or ruby orbs + trinkets your choice but put toughness in every pice. Use knight weapons. It makes 3.6k armor, 3.6k attack with stacks, 3 stability and if u put battle standard you can res your downed mates.

If someone with guild buffs claims something my toughness also goes to 2k and crit chance to 66%.
I’ve also discovered a hard cap on the power granted to uplevels. No matter how much extra power I put on my equipment, it wouldn’t go over 2.7k

Most fun open world PvP I have ever had is in GW2 and still going strong almost 3 years later. Could it be better absolutely, but for a game with no monthly fee they push out a massive amount of content on a regular basis. Sure it is mostly PvE and WvW surface changes but it isn’t like they haven’t tried larger changes (ruins, EotM, Wxp, etc).
The thing to remember here is that the game is three years old… few games hold players attention beyond 100 hours. Even fewer beyond a thousand.
GW2 WvW interest continues because they quite frankly have no viable competition. The latest PvP title making headlines? Titanfall with it’s 6v6 format.
You can’t find 80v80v80 in a well executed and immersive environment anywhere.
Because of that, ANet is resting on it’s laurels with small fixes and updates that most people did not desire.A few big changes to this game mode will inject more life and interest into GW2 than a hundred Scarlet episodes or even new PvE zones (though those would be great too).
1. Get rid of Bloodlust. Make all stomps worth a point, make every individual contribution count.
2. Have ruins offer unique buffs with limited uses. Example: Capture Temple of Lost Prayers, up to 5 players can get +15% swiftness buff for 10 minutes; recharges in 5 min cooldown, even on recapture.
3. Guild Commander Tag. Been asked for repeatedly. Make it yellow and only visible to the guild.
4. Borderland map redesign. EBG has a natural flow to it. It works great for the 3-way combat. The Borderland map does not have an organic flow and has way too much empty space.
If the resources are not there for a full redesign, I suggest two lesser changes. Make the Skritt and Centaur camps worth something. Example: Capturing the Skritt puts up a blockade that prevents access to the North camp (at the north camp switchback).
Second change, get rid of garrison water gate. The garrison should be the most easily defended structure after the North camp. Four gates plus wall on the North side are more than enough access points.I don’t know what server you’re on but here in T1 Bloodlust adds strategic value and all servers are vying for control of it. It’s not uncommon for 5-10 man and a lot of times even larger havoc groups to be battling it out for control of ruins while the main zerg takes objectives. We also have enough dedicated people and our militia generally is smart enough to stomp people, even in the middle of zergs when we have it.
It would be nice if bloodlust also gave us points, not only bonus to stats. Like 1 point per BL site every 10 seconds would make small man groups very valuable.
It gives you points. After each map of bloodlust you gain 1 point if u finish somebody. Servers often make the 1/3 of there points from bloodlust.
What i realy want is 1 point for just killing somebody and bonus points after bloodlust. If you finish somebody that guy automaticly resurect at waypoint
Did you start staplaying wvw 2+ years ago?
Leveling in wvw is a very rude thing except no queue and you are soloing.
Stay in and rally a full enemy zerg is a very rude thing if a HC player cant play with his mates
