Aw, I hope this makes you feel better: I bought the permanent harvesting tools for 1000 Gems each just THREE DAYS before the sale in March (I did not expect a sale at this time of the year, especially not a harvesting tool sale). 
I could have saved 600 Gems total! I’m still kicking myself, haha.

I actually have a GTX960 4GB and I am very happy with it! I am not an FPS freak so I don’t count frames like a maniac but I don’t even lag during world bosses and meta events. That’s all that matters to me.
You should also now get Tomes of Knowledge from ranking up in WvW, once you get past the initial few ranks that only give WXP boosters. You say you got to rank 5, so starting at rank 6 you should get Tomes.
This. I am over rank 1000 in WvW so I don’t know about low ranks, but at high ranks you get one tome / rank. I’ve already farmed over 180 tomes since the update… AND I can farm them on my main, no need to bring my squishy lowbies to EotM anymore. It’s actually an amazing way to level up IF you enjoy WvW or EotM. I find EotM faster because there are more events (champs to kill).
yeah well its been so long I just want that feeling back i had at start so though maybe it would help to lvl a new one ( + i dont have HoT yet ) so yeah its either Mesmer or Ele so far it will be Ele.

Hey, welcome back! How about don’t start a Mesmer or Ele but continue your lvl 80 Necro? 
Necro got an awesome elite spec (Reaper), it’s fun to play and it also has the best survivability among light armor classes. I totally recommend Necro.
I know something better: Anet should remove sigils and runes from dropped gear below Exotic, problem solved…

At this point I just want smaller, semi-transparent wings like the holographic ones because they don’t have clipping issues with back weapons (or more like holograph clipping makes sense, lol). I don’t like the bulky bird wings because of the clipping.
I would sell my soul for more floating back items like Toxic Spore!!!
First thing, I call it Chupa Chups. Some people might understand the reference.
Second thing, I like how elegant the bow is but it’s slightly too big for a shortbow.
To be honest, I kinda think we need less farm trains, not more.
Many people actually enjoy farm trains. They are optional so it’s not like you’re forced to do them.
Cursed Shore champ / event farm is still active (on EU servers at least) and it’s pretty similar to EotM but more profitable. More PvE farming contents: Silverwastes, Tarir, Dragon’s Stand meta events.
It’s definitely worth using, especially beause you can actually try every profession with it and choose whatever you like. As a mainoholic, I only used my boost to free up that shared inventory slot, lol. Still worth it… XD

What I am bothered by is that I wasn’t around for LS1 and I don’t even have the chance to buy it…
Someone suggested that ANet should investigate if they can make a “your choice” bundle package. You get a choice of immortal weapon skin, a total makeover kit, your choice of Gem Shop exclusive dye pack, your choice of pure glider (not a combo backpack one) and your choice of outfit for the 2000 gems price. Of course that means unbundling those outfits and glider skins and make them available as well. Then they can see what the true “value” of bundling to players rather than to ANet.
Unfortunately, I don’t want any glider, weapon skin and other stuff… I just want the Bandit outfit. Nothing else. They released the Ironclad costume separately, why they can’t do that with the Bandit one is beyond me…
This is something that I love in CO, and would be delighted to see here.

I honestly didn’t want to cause such a huge drama. Awkward. :s I should have explained “weird” in my first post: the bright textures don’t really match anything else in the game (maybe those achievement skins – I forgot the name – but I went with the Hellfire set). The gloves are not ugly, I just find them hard to work with because they are weirdly bright… Edit: I can’t work with the Chaos weapon skins either! XD

I agree, more simple and tight stuff for every armor type, please and thanks Anet! No skirts and coats = no clipping.
I use Knight Necro, haven’t got downed on HoT maps yet and I am proud of it. In fact, I don’t even go under 50% HP, lol. A bit too survivable but that’s how I like it, I used to play tanks in older MMOs, haha…
Well since experience cannot be gained in WvW, I guess EotM will be a dead map unless there are queues.
No. We don’t get exp anymore BUT now we get one tome for every WvW rank! In other words, people who used to level alts in EotM can grind levels for them on their mains. I only played for about an hour but I got 8 Tomes total including the ones from daily keep and reward track. Today’s patch was a great improvement for EotM, actually. Mains grinding tomes for alts means less uplevels in EotM.

I had to stop farming, whole EotM squad crashed 3 times, our awesome commander got mad and left, lol… Waiting for crash fix now…
My main is a core Necro and I still love it to death (pun intended), but improvements are always welcome. My playstyle is based on life siphoning and survivability so I’m not familiar with DPS builds, but it would be appreciated if Anet could make core Necro more appealing to people who prefer being damage dealers!

As an oldschool power Necro, I’d like to say thank you for lowering the cooldowns of our wells! They are even better with my well trait! I still think that wells should be 20-25 sec cd (at least in PvE) but this change is better than nothing. Now if we could get back the low Staff cooldowns from beta, that would be great… :P

The game is unplayable right now: my whole squad got DCed from EotM several times, same in DS and we lost the map progress, same during world bosses and SW events…
I wish we had Rift’s wardrobe system (except for their dyes). Change anytime, anywhere, anything. I can even wear a 2H hammer skin on my staff and mix-n-match armor types (plate, chain, leather, cloth). I don’t think many people buy transmutation charges anyway, you can farm one in about 10 minutes by completing Rata Sum if you don’t PvP.
