Depends on what you do ingame. I do multiloot about 5 times a day and I get about 50 rare items PER RUN and the mystic kit can’t keep up with the speed! So yes, it is worth it to me because I break lots of rares with it.

+1. Yes, I want to use my utilities in shroud.

@Vydahr: I do not want to lose a weapon, not even for different utilities. 5 weapon skills are better than 3 utilities. Less skills = boring.

Yeah, bank tabs today. Pretty disappointing, I expected more stuff for the last day.

Hey OP, once I had this problem, the PayPal option was missing on my main account but I had it on my secondary account. I opened a thread about it in the bugs subforum and it was fixed in a few hours! You might want to post there.

Thank you for everything! I had my ups and downs in GW2 but I still love it. My main game since 2012. I often try other MMOs but I always come back.

Mesmers should wear armor like this instead of the common light armor. They are to fabulous to wear the clothes that Necros or Elementalists are wearing.

This is exactly what we need. I miss the old GW1 simple skins. GW2 has too many fancy, overcomplicated armor designs. GW1 Necro armor here! Look at all the tight stuff! -grabby hands-

I agree. I run around with a greatsword made of purple Mist but I hold it like it’s super heavy… I wish I could change that.

Also, I want idle animations to be optional at the character creation! We should be able to select idle animations we like or completely disable them. Because I managed to create a non-clipping mix-n-match for my Sylvari but her weapon still clips during one of the idle animations. I wish I could get rid of it! Not to mention the female Norn/Human “hair sweep” animation. The way their hands clip through their heads annoys me more than it should… So much cringe.

Mean while, my asura engineer is over here wishing for anything that’s not pants. they could throw in more than one PvP aquired non butt-cape/trench-coat chest armor while they’re at it. But I agree, I’ve got those awful harem pants on my Ele right now, but I’d love some better options.

I wish we could mix-n-match Light-Medium armor because I like Medium pants!

As a Necro, I totally agree. I would sell my soul and a kidney for some pants and tight stuff. Sooo tired of long, puffy skirts. I miss GW1 Necro armor.

Ouch. It’s such a nice outfit but the clipping destroys it for me…

(I’m not sure where to post this, sorry). I really want to buy this outfit because it’s tight but the weapons are too far away from my body, they are just floating there and clipping through my arms while there’s plenty of extra space for them – see the pictures! This is on female Sylvari, I’m not sure if it’s a problem on other races… Anet, could you please fix this?

Well, I always disable postprocessing in games, especially stuff like bloom and motion blur, who wants blurry graphics? XD And I’ve been using Reshade since forever to make the graphics even sharper, it’s not bannable because it does not give you any advantage in the game.

As a full Knight Necro (maxed Toughness), I totally agree! I do not get targeted more often than other people around me. I do not believe in the Toughness aggro (and it was never confirmed as far as I know).

I feel your pain… :P I’m a mainoholic who rerolled her main three times just because of race change and rerolled profession once (Ranger main to Necro). I’ve been here since beta (more like since GW1!) and no b-day gifts for me. Most other MMOs look at account age instead of character age so GW2 is weird. Oh well. Unlucky for people like me. XD

I just woke up, patched and when I log in, I choose character, I am stuck on the loading screen for about a minute then I get this message (pic below), I play on EU server. My internet speed is normal, every website and my other MMO loads just fine… Anyone else or just me? What should I do?

I think the Bladed Armor sets are the absolute worst armor sets I’ve seen in the game, period.

There are just so many immersion-breaking and flat out ridiculous and utterly USELESS adornments on the armor pieces that make you wonder how your character hasn’t killed themselves already just by walking around. I’m especially hinting at the heavy chestplate for Charr in particular.

The set in itself is cheesy, as others have mentioned, extremely distasteful in appearance and overall had the potential to be so wicked and intimidating… sadly it is not. It’s more like a cheap action figure set out of a cereal box with parts that don’t make sense at all.

I wish ANet hired REAL armor designers. Yepp.

I will admit a lot of the more recent armorsets have detail that just isn’t fluent throughout the entire set or overly obnoxious bits sticking out; especially to do with the shoulder pieces.

This. A thousand times this. And not only Heavy armor but Light too. I am so sick of the long, puffy skirts that clip with every single weapon or clip into the ground when I’m in combat. Oh yeah and do I have to mention the Medium trenchcoats? I wish I could mix-n-match Light tops with Medium pants…

As a person with slow reaction times, I prefer shroud over any active defence skill. I am so bad at timing blocks and similar skills.

My “join in x map” option is missing when I right click someone in squad. Can’t switch maps to join my squad since the update! It was okay before the update! Anyone else or only me? Group NOT locked. Can’t join anyone.

I agree, they should be unlimited. I don’t even use Princess & friends because they are limited and they take up bag space for nothing… I just delete the stuff I don’t need.

“Hunting Banks” in Timberline Falls is my favorite place in the whole game, hands down. Unfortunately, it often has a Krait event but that Hylek village is gorgeous, there are those lovely colorful Hylek houses and a pool! Feels like a Hylek hotel, lol.

Mount Maelstrom’s “Judgement Rock” is also beautiful with colorful leaves in a small camp (when I go afk or just wanna talk to guildies). Also, anywhere in The Grove.

We are talking about virtual items. It’s really sad if some people “feel a level of prestige” just because they own certain pixels in a video game… In my opinion, every player should have a fair chance to get rare items, at least once a year during events or whatever.

Necro because it’s fun, I like the skills, the traits, the theme. Also, I am a person with slow reaction times, I’m bad at timing blocks and therefore the shroud mechanic is a better defensive system for me, I find it comfortable to play Necro.

I just want discounts on EVERYTHING. :P (Especially name change contract because I want to change my main’s name). x_x

I disagree. I only have Sylvari characters because I can make them colorful. I have never played a human over lvl 10… They look sooo boring.

If multiloot were an exploit they would have patched it months ago.

Does anyone else think that Unholy Feast (Axe #3) makes no sense? If we get Retaliation then we want foes to hit us, right? Well, the Cripple effect on the same skill slows foes down, wasting a few seconds of Retaliation if they are at max range (600). This has been annoying me since forever… I can’t be the only one…

THANK YOU ANET for the Sylvari, GLIDING!, no subscription fees, the fun combat system, the awesome story, the amazing maps, the exciting meta events, the cool character customization (skins and dyes included), the gem store sales (more please!), the cool underwater combat (yes, I actually like it).

That kind of behavior should be punished. Elitism should be reportable, it’s the cancer of MMOs. I wish we could actually do something against it but game devs usually don’t care. It’s sad.

Once I was doing DS meta, commander put me in 2nd group for boss at tower, I said “I’m better at running because I wear Knight gear”. They called me noob and kicked me out of the squad just because I play the way I want. (But that’s why I love metas, they can’t kick me out of the map so I went to an other lane. XD)

No to caps and no to capes.

Just add another thing to the Pact Commander’s Advanced Logistics mastery: “Learn to automatically pick up loot from fallen foes and gain a greater swiftness bonus for your party in cities” and increase movement speed by 25% on every other map. Hey, I can dream, right?

You might enjoy Engineer and/or Elementalist, they are by far the most engaging professions in GW2, they have TONS of skills to play with! (I prefer Engineer).

I use GS/Axes on my Ranger and I preferred the 3rd bounce over the extra damage but that’s just me… I want Axe main hand to become a power weapon because I don’t like the condis on #2 and #3 but I guess that’s not gonna happen…

Fix the clipping on old races before we get a new one.

I agree. Fortunately, the only thing I wanted was the autoloot and I got it. I am not interested in fractals and legendaries. I want mastery points I can just run to and collect, like on HoT maps. I’m not an achievement collector. : /
