I’m just glad there are different kind of PUGs. I always join the “all welcome” ones. That’s how I made most of my friends in this game. We take forever but still have tons of fun and laughs. Rushing through content with grumpy people feels soulless.

I’ve always been your secret admirer because of that! :P I feel sorry for people who blindly follow meta builds and they miss out on all the fun! Those are the people who get bored and quit after a few months.

Lies. I’ve been a Knight Necro since forever and Knight stats (maxed Toughness) are far from the meta… But I can still do every content with my guildies. You only have to be meta if you play with elitists. Join a friendly guild and/or start your own groups.

Unfortunately, I have to disagree. According to Dulfy’s video and screenshots, Sylvari and Human females have clipping at the legs during the idle animations while wearing this Outfit. Maybe other races too, I’m not sure. I’m sick of long skirts and trenchcoats. Forever waiting for tight pants with no clipping issues… -sighs-

Good suggestions here. You could also farm AB multiloot like I did for so many months and now I have enough Gold for the rest of my GW2 life, lol.

CANACH’S BACKPACK!!! They added it to the wardrobe more than a year ago and it is still not available. I want it for my Sylvari sooo bad so it’s just an unfair tease. Breaks my heart everytime I go to the wardrobe to try stuff on because it’s literally the only back item I like and I can’t get it…

I haven’t tried WvW yet, maybe there are other issues. From the GW2 Twitter:

No, you still get a small amount of progression in your PvP reward track if you lose. More if you win.

That’s easy because I keep crashing everytime I try. :P But I’m not sure I want to post it here because it has my IP address and stuff… -is paranoid- I sent the reports to Anet, though… What I want to know: is this happening to anyone else or am I cursed???

It JUST happened after today’s gem store update… I can’t login, I get a crash immediately.

I “farm” them in Rata Sum. I create an Asura Warrior (#2 skill is a leap which helps a bit), I get one charge in about 8 minutes by completing Rata Sum, delete character and do it again. XD

I remember her! And the confusion when I first saw her posts, lol. Exactly why we should have unique names! I thought I was schizophrenic. :P I’ve been playing MMORPGs since forever and I can easily come up with random usernames / display names for myself in other games, so that definitely wouldn’t be an issue for me.

I don’t understand aggro either but I definitely don’t believe in “Toughness aggro”! I have a full Knight Necro (maxed Toughness) and I don’t get targeted more often than other people. You know the blighting towers at Dragon’s Stand? When we run in circles, the first person who runs into the mobs gets targeted. And then it just looks random. Sometimes I can run through mobs with only a couple of hits, sometimes they all jump on me! The only difference is that others die and I don’t. XD Edit: Pretty much the same thing in other open world content and instances, btw. I don’t get targeted more often than others.

Honestly, I just want to get rid of the ugly numbers, I never use numbers in my usernames. Everyone should have a unique name without the numbers. They are so annoying, especially mine because it ends with a 1. At least it should be a 0! It annoys me more than it should, haha. XD I’m pretty sure if Anet offered a display name change item for $10, they would get crazy rich because many people want to change theirs. :P

This. I’m sitting on 20k+ gold and waiting for simple, small weapons and tight armor skins with no clipping issues. But we are keep getting oversized fancy weapons, overcomplicated armors and butt capes.

Bad advice. Not all characters have to be made or built for usage in end game content – Fractals and Raids. And even if they are, not all are required to have meta builds as there do exist groups that let you play what you want. Especially if you’re in a guild.

Exactly. Just join a friendly guild to avoid elitists. I never use meta builds or popular professions but I can still do every content with guildies / friends.

If you didn’t like the axe before the patch, the new buffs probably won’t entice you to pick it up now.
However, as someone who was already using the axe, the extra damage is very noticable for once, definitely more than the usual slight tweak.

They don’t have to drop it, I actually want them to keep it for PvP but add the extra effect I mentioned for PvE only… Because most mobs don’t have boons.

Also, I don’t PvP but I can imagine the annoyance because of the long cast time. It could be halved.

I know everyone is crying over the condi Necro so I guess my timing is bad, oh well.

Focus #4 is okay but #5 is not too useful in PvE because most mobs don’t have boons: Spinal Shivers – Chill your target and remove up to three boons, dealing extra damage based on the number of boons removed.

My idea: In PvE, this skill should deal the maximum damage and chill 2 more foes near the initial target (300 radius) IF the target has vulnerability!

Thoughts, ideas?

We can change stats on those new Ascended trinkets from the new maps. Blood Ruby Band and so on… I want Ascended armor and weapons that work like that.

If we are talking about pvp Necro have the worst survivability of all classes. You can see it in pvp. Necro die fastest,necro die most/match. Almost every class at high level pvp kill it in 1v1.

Well, you need quick reactions in PvP so I obviously don’t play it at all. I’m slow like a sloth.

I love my Necro and chose her as my main because I have slow reaction times, I am bad at timing blocks and dodges but the Shroud is very comfortable and easy to use. I feel clumsy and squishy without Shroud when I play other professions. I always play good survivability classes in MMORPGs so Necro is perfect for me!

I love “shroud flashing” for its utiliy (Stunbreak, Fury, Stability, Weakness Application, Boon Removal, Protection and whatnot…). That second would be extremely annoying and make playing Necro even more slow and clunky.
