Yup, we need Rift’s wardrobe system. Change skins anytime, anywhere and ANY WEIGHT for free. I have a Mage in Plate and Chain armor skins with a Hammer skin on her Staff. I wish I could do the same in GW2!!!!!!!!!!

So what? It’s just a video game. You know what makes me feel truly rich in an MMORPG? It’s not Gold or items. It’s the friends and guildies I play with.

it’s a wish for more diversity in design instead of armor after armor with buttcapes or coats. it’s a wish for pants for women instead of dress&pants or dress&leggings. The fashion and armors in Tyria are not tight. You are confusing our world with Tyria. Clipping is a minor problem, it can only be adressed by improving the game’s engine.

Funny, GW1 has lots of tight(er) armor options, just a few examples below. But suuure, armors in Tyria are not tight… Not anymore. Unfortunately.

Clipping might be a minor problem to you but it’s definitely a major turn off for me. Anet could avoid many clipping issues if they designed tighter armor.

When I’m against trenchcoats and buttcapes, I’m just sick of my weapons and arms clipping through them!!! Look at the medium Glorious armor! FULLY COVERED BODY but it’s TIGHT and has no clipping issues! This is EXACTLY what I need for my female characters! I don’t want to be naked at all.

Race and gender don’t matter, play whatever you like. There is no “best race”.

This. Not to mention, balance patches tend to buff and nerf professions, so the “best” is always different. Every profession is viable, you just have to ignore elitists. Play the profession YOU like, not what OTHER people like!

I agree. Bow without quiver always makes me frustarted in any MMO. It just makes no sense. I actually like how small the Fire Quiver is! At least it does not clip with my arm when I run! I would like to see more small quivers!

People who hate Sylvari just because they were supposed to be dragon minions are lame. If you played the HoT storyline you should know that Mordremoth can only control weak Sylvari. Our characters, the playable Sylvari are strong, we fought for our independence and defeated Mordremoth because we did not agree with his goals. We are not dragon minions because he does not control us, he never did. The weak, corrupted Sylvari are dead. Now go have fun with your overrated, generic looking Human characters and leave the Sylvari alone.

I don’t mind the ML nerf, I got about 20k Gold out of it in 2016. I’m not interested in Legendaries so that Gold will be enough for the rest of my Tyrian life, lol. Thanks for the easy Gold, Anet! (Not sarcasm).

Depends. I am not interested in Legendaries but I still did map completion on my main (HoT and newer maps included) for 2 reasons:
1. It’s my main so I simply want every map unlocked.
2. Chance for keys.

I just I did my weekly key run a few hours ago and I got this mini from the chest. Too bad it’s account bound, I’m not interested in minis…

I always sell all the rares because I have a horrible luck with Ecots. In the end, I get more money if I sell the rares. I’d rather take 25 silver than nothing. I used to salvage them (with silver-fed) but I stopped when I once got 36 Ectos out of 52 rares. That was the moment when I said “never again”, lol.

GW2 won’t die anytime soon. In fact, it’s the most active MMO after WoW and FFXIV. Both of those are subscription games so that makes GW2 the most active B2P game. And yes, it’s still worth playing. Thanks to account bound Ascended gear and no new level cap, it’s always easy to come back to GW2.

Also, you get one Tome for every rank gained in WvW / EotM, so if your server is good you might want to try that. I get 4 Tomes / hour without boosts in EotM, Keep daily and reward tracks give extras. I have nearly 1000 Tomes and they are collecting dust in my bank…

The Aesthetician NPC disappeared from Royal Terrace after the patch. It is available during the default and Wintersday decorations but not during the Lunar New Year decorations.

Meh, I will never understand this obsession with black dyes, they are so boring.

I actually don’t mind that it doesn’t take me back to where I was because I always go to the Terrace once I’m done in a zone and I don’t want to go back at all.

Well, it’s obvious that they don’t put much effort into Outfits since 95% of them have clipping issues on my female Sylvari, mostly at the right arm and legs if there is a butt cape (and there are way too many butt capes). So sad. Forever waiting for more Light pants…

The real fun starts at lvl 80. :P Gear up, finish story, try meta events, fractals, guild stuff, achievements, map completion, collect skins, max all crafts and masteries, collect gold and currencies, and so on… I’ve been playing since 2012 and still have plenty of things to do in the game.

I agree, we need an option to disable names in squads.

I agree. Just reset personal story. Once reset, they give no rewards at all, problem solved. But the ps rewards are so bad anyway, who would pay for a race change just to get a couple of gold and 3 keys?

It depends on the person. Like, I don’t understand the appeal of Legendaries in GW2 but many other people do. The only reason (literally) why I still log in to RIFT is just to admire the “dimensions” (that’s the name of player housing over there) I’ve built and / or to rebuild some of my old ones just for fun. I also enjoy visiting other people’s dimensions to see their creative ideas. So yeah, it’s definitely something I would really enjoy in GW2.

Better idea: Just remove minor and major runes from dropped gear.

That would be nice. Also, we should be able to turn off parts of the UI. I have to use “Immersive Combat Mode” to hide the bright, distracting exp bar because it hurts my eyes.

They said, that the making outfits is easier than making every element of an armor separately and I reconciled with this and I just enjoy everything we get. But I respect players, who think different and I know what you are talking about, because I had the same thoughts as you.

Unfortunately, I can’t enjoy Costumes because 95% of them have some kind of clipping issue on my female Sylvari and that’s the main reason why I’ve only bought ONE Outfit so far (and only use it on leveling characters). Maybe I’d enjoy Outfits more if we got more TIGHT non-clipping stuff instead of buttcapes that go through my legs and arms. However, mix and matching armor pieces will always be more fun, hands down.

My biggest hope for 2017 is (if they don’t want to make more armors) at least get rid of armor weight restrictions because I NEED Medium pants on my Necro!

Same thing happened to me, I couldn’t equip it. But the skin got unlocked so I transmuted it on to my Ascended back item.

It’s sad that kind people can’t even send gifts in peace because of idiot gold sellers. I really hope you won’t get banned! Happy holidays!
