Guild Wars 2

I want a lvl 50-ish character to open bags because I heard it gives more gold than opening them on a lvl 80. Does the profession matter? I have a Ranger close to 50, should I start a light armor char instead?

I don’t have time and attention span for more than one guild. :c

Okay, thanks. I went to Cursed Shore just to make sure all of my waypoints are unlocked for events but I accidentally ran into a train, they did lots of things and I got tons of exp and loot. It was really refreshing because I spent too much time in SW in the past 1+ year, lol.

I just want more simple, tight stuff (especially pants) that don’t clip through my weapons and/or arms…

So in SW is it better just to do events before breach and join an other event map when breach starts?

What is a quick way to level core masteries these days? I only want to get the autoloot thing. :P For HoT, I had DS but I don’t know what to farm in central Tyria. A while ago someone recommended dungeons but I don’t really like them…

I can reach lvl 80 in 2 days just by d€rping around in EotM, so no thanks. If it took a month to level up, then yes, I would buy it.

I don’t follow the meta, I find full dps builds uncomfortable but my reaction time is kind of slow, I fail at timing dodges and blocks… I main a tanky Necro in Knight gear and I’m in love with it. c: I think a build is strong if it has a healthy amount of offense and defense.

Huh? We still get bags from champs, we do not get a bonus chest AFTER capping but they never gave exp in the first place… :o So LEVELING in EotM was not nerfed.

I agree. To me the worst thing was when I found a party for the last personal story, I got DCed during the Mordremoth fight (which was not my fault), quickly went back, re-entered (I was still in the party!) and I ended up in a brand new instance! -shakes head-

And this is why the game, which prospered so much at launch, didn’t feature any kind of “elite” or arbitrarily “difficult” content. And also part of why, HoT, an expansion featured as pleasing the “hardcore” crowd has failed in the eyes of a bulk majority of players when looking at sheer numbers.

Strictly speaking, not many people care. And those that do are likely too exclusive to not care about anyone not involved in their personal affairs.

I can’t prove it but I did get random lvl80 Exotics on lower lvl characters several times in the past, so you should be able to get precs too.

EotM Nerfing: While this might not be a big thing for most, EotM was a kitten good place to level for quite a long time then they nerfed the EXP by 25-30% and the levels started becoming once again. a endless grind, one that just isn’t fun anymore. I personally have not entered EotM in a long while and will not from here on out.

Sorry but when was EotM nerfed? :o Back in January I leveled my Necro in EotM to 80 in 2 days without boosts. Did I miss the nerf? Also, I agree about the story missions but I actually like the Tomes.

I was on a hiatus when it was first released so I tried it yesterday for the first time. I didn’t like it either, it felt like a huge jumping puzzle. Also, the weird graphics gave me motion sickness, everything looked the same, I felt like I was running in circles and got nauseous after a few minutes, I had to leave. It’s not my cup of tea but I’m glad many people are happy now, enjoy your SAB!

Every day: SW and/or chest farm, dailies, some EotM if I’m in the mood.

It’s not so much WHAT they decided to scrap as it is the fact that content people paid for got scrapped. I would still want what I paid for if it was something else, like specializations or the revenant class or gliding or anything else they had said was part of the purchase price for HoT but then didn’t deliver.

Oh, I see. I actually only got HoT because of gliding AND I needed one piece of Leystone armor for my mix-n-match, so yeah… XD

Ew, no. I actually disliked that feature in GW1. I felt like my character was too weak and I needed support from silly NPCs.

As a person who does not care about Legendary stuff at all, I really don’t see what all the fuss is about.

My characters’ names start with my real name (Mea). My main is Meamira. I also have Meamara and Meamera. I use these names in every other MMO.

I never preorder anything anymore (lesson learnt), but I will buy it eventually (after release, I might wait for a discount, depends on reviews and stuff).

I don’t have a Legendary and don’t want one, I think it’s a waste of money and time. The sword precursor dropped a while ago (I forgot the name), I sold it immediately. But congrats to everyone who got one!

This applies to every profession. The cooldown on utilities and some profession-specific skills is ridiculous. Even some weapon skill cooldowns are way too long (Necro or Ele staff for example). We don’t have many skills in this game so lower cooldowns would make combat more fast-paced and fun.

As a person who loves tanky characters in MMOs, my motto is: “Survive everything!” It works. When Eir was bugged in the last HoT personal story she put like 50 stacks of Burning on us in matter of seconds. Everyone was dead, I was running around in Shroud losing all the burning every 3 secs thanks to trait and I asked “Ummm, should I die or what?” I’m also the person who prevents party wipes in those crazy Fractal pugs. Fun stuff.

I tried it on in the gem store and didn’t like it. Not sure why people are crazy about it but enjoy your ears, I guess… I would prefer some kind of flower pin in my Sylvari’s hair, or a butterfly…

I honestly never cared about Tybalt and the other guy (I forgot his name). I joined Vigil and Whisper on alts just to see the story and get access to the skins. I wasn’t impressed. I love Priory the most because we have a LIBRARY, the best base and of course SIERAN. My Sylvari main’s personality (and my real life personality) is exactly like Sieran’s, so I can actually relate to her. Curious, adventurous, easily amused, daydreamer and sometimes careless… Sieran is love, Sieran is life! CHERRY!

I grind everything with my Necro and I love it, lol.

The “stretch” was lame because it “stretched” the textures around the armpit and it looked ugly. Not to mention the arm/head clipping issues… I’m actually glad it’s gone.

When I got HoT I was confused too. I don’t like this system, filling it up with exp should be enough.
