great all this talk about fractals has made me want to go play it now. TIME TO PUG A LVL 30 SOMETHING ONE!!!

this is how you properly stack in guild wars 2.

I plan on getting my ele to lvl 80 today/tomorrow (currently level 71) so that way i can enjoy a weekend of fiery exploit sword before it gets nerfed

so with 4 hours left until an assignment is due, i decide to procrastinate by reading the forums.

Other people have stated it, griefers galore. I’ve learned not to trust in the goodwill of the players. Too much bad can come from the new system

I need to get better at fractals since my level is only 33 (I feel so dirty saying that here)

All I can think of is lupi kicking in phase 1 while people are ranging, making it look like he is dancing

Also there is a bug with the last boss of p2 where if you are downed and she teleports everyone back into the chokehold room, you do not get teleported.

i played wildstar, got a few toons to max level.

Combat is better in gw2. Dungeons are better in gw2 than wildstar. Arena net do not know the opportunity they are missing out on by not expanding their dungeons.

I am ruling out anything good or important happening from anet that does not involve their gem store sales, or living story bull sheet. I gave up hope a long time ago that they would do anything.

I expect nothing and yet I am still disappointed

agreed wholeheartedly with you. Only reason I am staying in the game right now is because of the dungeons. and friends. In a few months I guess I might disappear again and go do something else. All I know is A-net is not doing anything good.

just duo-ed arah p2 with my friend. when we got up to alphard he did something weird, he did his spinning attack (where he sends all those electric balls around) without teleporting back to the middle. Anyone know why this would happen?

I actually agree with point one. They need to add some anti-stacking mechanics to Lupi.

For instance, what if he did some really high damage attacks, but only at melee range? You know, like kick or claw at them? And to drive home that players shouldn’t be stacking, the attacks could knock them back 300-600 units. “Go range, folks!” :-) Some adds that swarm the players while they’re knocked down and at like 10% health might be overkill, but ANet could add them if they really wanted to send a message.

Or a giant, like 600 radius area attack where he shoots a hundred of his projectile bolts at about 200 range? It should instadown any player who stays in it, or at least those zerkers (lol, they’re not even proper tanks with that gear, why should they get that close? That’s DPS gear!!). Make it have like a 0.15s tell so that those elitists that rely on abusing evades can’t just easily dodge out of it.

And to really make sure that nobody tries to stack, a giant (like 900 radius) PBAoE attack, powerful enough to down a zerkerburger, could pop up during the fight. To punish those “players” that just want to finish the runs fast instead of having fun, they could make the attack actually heal Lupi back up. I know, I know, I’m evil >:-) But that would just make those grievers who are ruining the game take longer! Man, I hate those guys. >.<

Maybe someone at ANet will read this and realize how easily they can keep cheaters from meleeing and using what they call “combos” (bugged interactions between skills that somehow give them more damage) to exploit Lupi, and finally implement some of these ideas!

Yes that will teach those elitist noobs not to stack. Its a shame that is currently not in the game. Let’s hope they implement it in the future

Have to say I am quite impressed with the research you have done concerning the hardcore dungeon guilds and all the guides they have. You might post and I miss you, but this is the first I’ve seen you here.

I like your ideas and your optimism, I hope it works out for you,since many of us here have given up hope that anet will pay attention to dungeons and the rewards from dungeons.

I usually run arah around 7am server time to 11:30am server time since I’m oceanic. I usually post an lfg for what path I’m doing if I’m not in the mood for soloing. But if you join me expect to go full melee

I don’t like the sound of most of your ideas. They do not sound enjoyable or viable at all.

My suggestion, bring back an actual dungeon team anet

Mine is still the dead bodies in arah. But a close second has to be the ice colossus at the start of CoE. I can solo most of arah, nearly solo lupi comfortably (I still sometimes panic in phase 2, but 1 and 3 are simple for me now) yet I can’t time the dodging right on this simple encounter.

Time to go fight this war.
