There isn’t anything that looks as good or sounds as good as HoT. You can find me in Tangled Depths 80% of the time. They really blew me away with the soundtrack this time, and the noises the Chak make when you hit them is just epic.
Just try to find this kind of quality in a no monthly fee game.
Not going to happen.

I would like to buy some White Faux Oversized Fuzzy Boots. They should come in White, Black and umm Purple!
I cant believe you cant get Furry Boots in GW2..I’m sure the Norn make them somewhere.
Actually..what would be really cool is Chak Acid boots like you get from fighting Chak.
Now if you could only just keep that animation on your boots!
But yeah my female ranger needs white Fuzzy boots!

Guess someone had too much fun last night.
I found a Monolith..but it wasn’t Graven.

He obviously hasn’t unlocked Herald. The upkeep on the Revenant is fine. You cant turn everything on and just go smash everything. You have to micro manage it. It is a very fun class and reminds me of GW1.

Change it to 50% Boon Duration and Steal One Drop from Nearby Allies as payment for upkeep of keeping them alive.

I am currently lvl 96 and i approve of this chore..most fun Ive had since DoA UrsanWay.

You are going to have way more fun if you blow by the spiders and go take part in the events. You are missing some epic gameplay on the other side.

Obviously this guy didn’t get past Verdant Brink. He missed all the loot in the lost city

Been on the 64 bit for 2 days now..zero crashes. Runs so much better. Why isn’t the game gated to 64bit?

So the beta 64 client isnt a stand alone download?

I uninstalled and just reinstalled the 64 client.

Alright, i finally caved in last night and reinstalled with the 64 bit. Runs great.
After getting over the fact that i had to manually set my graphics setting up, this is what everyone should be running. Have a special server for people with only 32 bit, or just lock those people out of the game..we don’t need them. Get something worth playing GW2 on! You are the weakest link…goodbye!

I open the GW2 64 file and now i have the dat and readme files all over my desktop.
Again..Where is the Launcher.
The one in there with the logo wants to download the client again???

I unlocked the specializations with a core build, made no sense to me to use a kitten build. I’m still using a core build after unlocking the elite spec.

61 with nothing but a Birthday Booster, but i did break off and farm 4000 Gems during the Halloween event, i was at 50 points when i realized i was loosing a ton of money.
I knew i wasn’t going to get anything int the bags..so i sold them. My favorite Event of the year.

Anet knew people were going to be mad with this update..it’s why they named it HoT.

Why is there no raptor farm in HoT? I thought for sure with all those raptors we were going to have a ToT bag nostalgia event. I should have dusted off my A/E and hit Riven Earth. Was there an event in GW1? Too busy deciding whether to work on Masteries or Farm. XP or Gold..Xp or Gold..XP or Gold….Hmmmmm

This is all just an evil ploy to stop people farming gold and make them farm XP instead. I think it’s working as intended.

Anet is catering to China because of the Billions of potential customers, its a no-brainer. It’s why we have a Chinese dragon for a raid.

I cant see any reason to press this skill, auto attacking does more damage. Anyone find a use for this skill anywhere? Maybe i’m just not using it right or is it just that weak?

Ok..if the new character icons for all the specializations wasn’t confusing enough..now you added crafting classes to the character icon. This is way too much info for such a little window. Think of new players, i can figure it out, but i think that the crafting professions should show up on the left AFTER you select the character. Where it says Name, Guild, % Map complete. This will keep the icon to what class it is and selecting that character will bring up all the info on that character.

They did a really nice job on the soundtrack..make sure you get a quality set of headphones! You wont be sorry. I cant play without the headphones now.

I hated the 1st map, mostly because i didn’t have the unlocks needed to transverse the map or know where the kitten i was. But now that i have seen all four maps, and have 3 in gliding and 2 in the rest i am having a much better time. The second map in HoT -Auric Basin- is worth $100 all by itself. Its the most beautiful thing that has ever happened in gaming. Get yourself an updated graphics card and a wide monitor because this is gonna blow your mind, as soon as you get over needing ascended everything and need to grind out some unlocks so your character can transverse the hard terrain. It gets better the longer you play it, it was designed that way. Story is just awesome so far, i don’t want to hear people complain that haven’t even gotten past Verdant Brinks.

I spent thousands of hours unlocking everything on two guilds, and i think a refund to whomever spent gold on influence is in order. Its documented in the guild log.
Took me almost three years to finally unlock everything at 2 influence per event, the least you can do is give us the gold back.

I find HoT no different than soloing WvW. You have to know your limitations, I have been soloing all day and have no issues. The terrain however is more challenging than the mobs.

What does the revenant get? I insta 80’d him and put him in legendaries but i dont recall getting anything for the Herald. I did get the Bo Staff (Traveler’s Bo Staff) on me Thief.
