I have been stuck at tier 3 saphire for days now. I have played at least 30 matches and can’t win just 3 times in a row, no matter how good I am or how good my team mates are.

I don’t blame anyone for paying, because at this point I am close to doing it myself.

And yes, I am serious. Playing an engineer in skyhammer is the most fun I have ever had in pvp.

At launch guild wars 2 sold two million copy and it had no raids and was advertised as

I have a good job, 4 daughters, a wife, and 2 dogs. I don’t have 2-8 hrs a day to dedicate to setting up, forming groups, organizing voice chat, raiding et. I’ve been a solo roamer since beta, I have hardly any friends. And the ones I do have aren’t elitists.

I just got back to the game after about a 5 month break, so I am a bit behind everyone else, but this past week has been incredibly entertaining.

I have always been keen on traditional quests, and always disliked Orr and Southsun Cove for not having them.
Yet I have been so occupied doing events, the new personal story, exploring the new maps, playing the revenant in pvp and generally having fun, that I didn’t even realize heart quests were missing.

There are way too many negative threads here, so I just wanted to say thank you to you guys at ArenaNet, you have done an amazing job with HOT, and I can’t wait to see what you have in store for the future.

I keep seeing people saying ArenaNet has lied about this expansion, and haven’t delivered.

I just got back to the game last week, can anyone enlighten me on what promises they have gone back on? Or is everyone just whining for the sake of whining?

Í have never pre-ordered anything, and I don’t think I ever will.

If the base product costs 40$ then I won’t spend another 20-30$ just for fluff items.

I would however buy it, if it offered somewhat the same quality and quantity of content as HOT had.

What we need is the option to disable whispers from people who aren’t on our friendlist or aren’t in our guilds.

Just slap boobs on everything, let’s get rid of diversity.

I would never delete a level 80 unless I had reached the maximum amount of character slots available.

ArenaNet proved with HoT that they are willing to change their direction and go for a better alternative than their old stubborn way of thinking, so you never know if one day a race change kit will be made, in which case there would be no point in deleting a max level character.

I just got back into the game after about a 6 months break, and if someone had told me that in HOT I would get to do fight baddies while jumping around as a bunny, then I would have come back much sooner.

Been having a break. Haven’t really played in months. Only logged in a few times.

Hey now, don’t you tell me how to name my characters.

If I want to play a big black norn and run around in a pink dress and call myself “Conan the Curvy”, then that’s my choice.

Because of marketing.

Perhaps the new maps are twice as big as the old ones, but saying an expansion only gets 4 new maps is underwhelming for people who don’t do any research about it.

I don’t really play anymore. But I need this.

This is the problem with LFG.

Only solution is to group with friends and guildies.

MMOs are the most difficult games to make and keep going.

Poeple want something new. Then they get something new and cry because it is different from what they’re used to be playing.
Then they get the same stuff they’ve been used to, and then complain because there isn’t anything new.

There is a 99% chance we will never see new races.

1. They would have to do all the voice acting for the personal story.

2. They would have to make new personal story quests up until the point where you join the orders and it all becomes the same.

3. At this point most people have all professions at max level, and would not want to reroll. So ArenaNet would have to make a race change kit, which they refuse to do.

4. They would have to adjust all weapons and armour to the new race, as well as making new cultural armour.

I love the zerk meta, especially in pvp now.

This is the kind of pvp I want. Kill and being killed in 10 seconds is way more fun than running around trying to kill someone for minutes on end.
