That’s just a beta tester, duh. It was full of bugs so it took a few years to develop.

No new race, no interest.

I was actually pretty satisfied with HOT. And I haven’t even played any of the guild content or done any raids.

Any race that looks so similair to another race that you can’t tell them apart by looking at their silhouettes.

Norn are just slightly bigger humans. Instead of norn we could have had tengu or skritt or quaggan.

You just made me think of all the special moments I have had since I started playing this amazing game… The journey through the world, all the events, all the dialouges, the jumping puzzles, the hidden things…

I really hope that they will make a new race at some point, because I really want to go through that journey again, but I can’t bring myself to do it again with a race I’ve already been playing for years.

It’s okay to play with builds you make yourself.

I don’t know if I will buy it if they don’t make a new race.

And I want something different like a tengu, not a largos which is just a human with butterfly wings.

GWII is my number 1 game of all time.

I may not play it as much as I use to, and I may not enjoy it the way I use to back when it was new, but it is the only game that makes me keep coming back.

I just want my tengu.

Or you could accept their new style of music, and simply turn off your sound if you don’t like it.

Jeremy Soule doesn’t work with ArenaNet anymore, so they can only reuse the music that was made many years ago now.

I can’t remember the name of the new composer, but he has done a fantastic work with the music, and I hope he doesn’t go away any time soon.

I was playing ranked pvp and after ganking this guy over and over again, he whispered me something.

After my team won I also recieved a mail.

And this game IS good at something.

It is good at giving you many different things to play.

If all the devs did was push out dungeons then everyone who loves dungeons would be really happy. But people like me who like to play pvp and only dip into the other aspects of the game would be left in the dust and feel neglected.

When people say that hardly anything has been added to the game, then they really mean “hardly anything that I personally care about has been added”

I play pvp, not world v world, and I only do pve once in a while. Hardly any pvp content has been added. A few maps, a reward track, some skins and finishers. That’s it.

Someone who only likes dungeons will say that barely anything has been added.
Someone who only likes fractals will say that hardly anything as been added.
Someone who only likes pvp will say that hardly anything has been added.
Someone who only likes events will say that hardly anything has been added.
Someone who only likes mini games will say that hardly anything has been added.

Most MMOs focus on only one aspect, and then ignore pretty much everything else. This game focuses on adding many different things. If you only play for one aspect, say dungeons, then this is not the game for you.

outfits are good idea

Nope. We need more armors, less outfits.

I’ll never buy armors unless they remove the transmutation charge system and allow you to freely change as many times as you want.

Meanwhile I have bought many outfits because I can change them whenever I want, and wear whatever type of outfit on any profession. Being a warrior in a dress, or an elementalist in heavy armor.

I honestly think it’s kind of being blown out of proportion just how difficult it would be to implement.

It can just be a skin. The personal story doesn’t have to be affected.

Take a look at the tonics we have in the game. They can change you into any race. The only difference is that the character you turn into has a set look. Let us customize that look and voila.

I played Minecraft but I never crafted a mine.

Then it wouldn’t be mini.

When I press the left mouse button and scroll on my mouse, to zoom in and out on the screen, it starts scrolling up and down in the chat log.

I can’t imagine this being intentional, considering the fact that it is extremely annoying. So I would like to ask if I can disable this or if it is a bug that will be fixed.

All I want is a new race and a new continent.

How long does it last?

I will never buy armor until they make transmutations free. I have bought many outfits because I can freely switch between them.

I have wanted to change my norn to an asura for a very long time.

They could make a lot of money from it. In WoW I once changed race like 10 times in a year, paying 20$ for it each time. I was bored and had money to spend so why not.

I don’t think you appreciate just how difficult it is to balance a game with this many skills and combinations.

I am not saying that they should stop trying, nor am I trying to insult you in any way, but every time you nerf or buff something then there are players that will find a way around it and make it more powerful than it was intended.

I can’t speak for the rest of the playerbase, but back when I was fully devoted to this game I would buy gems every time they made a patch I liked, to show my appreciation.
And I would imagine that there are still quite a bit of people that do that.
And then you of course have people who have a big income IRL and just buy gold every time they want something, I knew a guy like that once. He just bought his way to a legendary because he had more money than he could spend.

It’s fun to play. Why do you need rewards for everything?

As far as I know, the rewards have been different in the last years (exotic?). That’s why people were expecting something else. Right now It’s fun to do it one time, but you won’t get back afterwards if there’s no other reason. Especially because there’s a much more profitable game mode right next to it (labyrinth).

Also: I don’t believe that you’d play GW2 if there were no rewards. Being rewarded for the time and effort you’ve spend has its psychological reasons (in a game).

I play to have fun, rewards or not.

This games shoves rewards up your bum for just logging in. I have never heard of another game where the playerbase demands rewards for literally everything. In other games people will do things to have fun, in this game no one will do anything unless they get some sort of reward for it.

It’s fun to play. Why do you need rewards for everything?

I just want a charr or asura tank top, or a cover for my iphone.

We already have the reward tracks, we don’t need more than that.

Played guardian and engineer for 40+ games, no luck. Tried a meta build necro and now I’m ruby on a winstreak.

I don’t even know what my skills do, I just press everything and people die. I love this lol.

I’ve wanted this since forever.

I lost 20 games in a row. Then I got a lucky win. Won the next 4 matches, then in the fifth match someone on my team went afk so we lost. Then lost another 10 matches.

Not sure if MMR or bad luck.

I love sitting patiently for 20 minutes waiting for the que, then going to the bathroom for 1 minute and coming back to a 1½ hour dishonor.

It took me 60+ games to get out of tier 4 saphire.

I am now stuck in tier 5 with about 25+ games so far, and even I think this is terrible.

I’d like help as well, want to get the last tier so I can finally be ruby.

Lost over 50 matches in tier 4 saphire, just got to tier 5 yesterday.

You can do it mate.

Had 280g earlier, then bought a makeover kit, so about 212g now.

Skritt, I remember buying a makeover kit for about 7g back when it was new :/

I admit that I do my fair share of whining when things go wrong, but I never take it out on my team. In fact, if my team is losing and I need a break anyway, then I will leave so my team doesn’t lose pips.

But this guy decided not to be so kind.

We entered the forest, and as soon as we didn’t do exactly what this guy told us to do, he decided to go afk. And instead of leaving, he stayed througout the entire match just to call us idiots and say how glad he is that we would lose.

Despite being 4v5 we managed to get to 495 points, but lost in the end due to the last killing blow.

We asked him several times to leave so we wouldn’t lose pips, but god forbid that he would have to wait a few minutes before his next match.

Why do people do this? And why is it acceptable with no punishment?

I have blocked out all names except for my own.

I have been stuck ever since hitting tier 4 of saphire. I have played at least 50 games and can’t get out.

Let me get this straight, you’re blaming the GAME for not being able to get out of sapphire, despite being a division that has tier locking as well as the fact that none of the good players are still in sapphire so you should have easy matches?
