I think that trait should be completely changed, I mean the functionality to something completely different, without a minion, I have that just to have the bigger staff wells, I don’t need that minion AT ALL; not a minion master, not using minions.
have you recently swapped to EU from NA or the other way around? If so I think there was a bug where you would not receive chests until your total earned in the new region surpassed what you earned in the old.
Hmm! that’s interesting indeed, I switched servers many times but all of US, I suppose that could have the same effect you are describing.
That “big guys” you kill for points, or the Lord, etc, that’s OK. But the sharks? come on! 100% annoying, REMOVE sharks completely, seriously.

The rank chest was 3 days ago or something, and the tournament one was 1 hour ago. Never saw that chests in my inventory at all.
I just won the 4th place in a free tournament and have no chest in my inventory. Also, got a rank and the chest of the reward is not anywhere. I am missing something maybe? or this is a bug?
About 60% of icons are incorrect. I don’t see much of a problem, it’s just an icon afterall.
So you would not care if Internet Explorer and Firefox use the same icon? they are both internet browsers.
For me is really annoying and disturbs my gameplay; Sometimes you just see 100 red nameplates in the middle of the action, the same for alive, downed, and defeated; That difficult a lot the targeting.

I am posting in bug section because I am not really sure if this is a bug, or just the game is incomplete (that could be considered as a bug maybe).
I see (too many times) in the game, a lot of generic icons for some weapons (armor too I think), even for good exotic weapons with good skins.

Is that a bug? are the icons of that weapons not yet implemented?
The only way to know the real look in previewing; Plus looks a little, you know, “cheap” if my weapons has that icon, being a level 80 exotic, transmuted BTW.

Sometimes is seriously annoying in big fights, with a lot of players, when enemy start to die, they stay in the floor with the red nameplate, and in the middle of the action it could be really confusing, at least it is for me, to see 50 nameplates in my screen for both dead and alive people.
My suggestion is the change the color of dead ones to gray, or a grayed red, or even remove it completely of the screen.
I wonder if achievements could be continued in next years Halloween events?
For example, if I do half Pumpkin Carving this year, complete it the next year?

It’s a bug, because the new password was stored and “already used before” and now I can’t use it. It’s not easy to make strong passwords that I can remember, and now I can’t use it. If I continue with this I will be out of password ideas very soon, so I will wait.

New one is not working.
I tried to change again and now shows a message about the “password is not available”, “used before”, etc, etc. (Message is in Spanish so cannot tell you exactly; but you must know what I am talking about)
EDIT: So system got password and listed it as “used before”, and didn’t actually changed it.

Hi. I just changed my password, and I still have the old password: Didn’t got any error message at password change, all normal.
I will change it just to stop the annoyance.
I think the problem is they blacklisted all passwords some time ago, including all recently changed passwords (days before the blacklist creation) that are not in any danger, so a lot of people get the message. The password I am using right now, is not the same I was using at game launch, and not the same I use for Blizzard or email, it’s a completely new one, exclusively created for GW2.

I have that message too, and there is no way someone could know the password I am using right now, it’s exclusive for GW2, unless as “Lwd” said “someone breached your defense”. If something like that happens, password change should be forced not recommended.

Allow keybinding the SHIFT key (draw/pin in map) to another key.
Add keybinding for the new PvP window.

Footi bugged at the moment (October 23) in Jade Quarry. I have the Karma for my last two pieces of armor and cannot buy it because of this bug.
I just used an exquisite upgrade in a karma item, now it’s LOST, I cannot savage it. This is not the fist time this happen to me. Seriously annoying. Some upgrades are really EXPENSIVE.
I changed my password BEFORE this “blacklist” thing to a very strong one, now I am getting the “change password” message even when I don’t have ANY plan of changing my password again. I suppose/hope the message will be removed someday.
I am using Shift key for the F1 skill (very good and accessible for Warrior and Necro), I need to change the Shift functionality (ping and draw on mini-map) to another key. Because every time I ping/draw in the map my F1 skill is activated, that’s incredibly annoying.
When this happened to me (only once) I noticed the game just stopped loading characters completely, I was in a big battle for many minutes and the hard disk was quiet. I don’t know how exactly that works, but is like the part of the game that load things, crashes. Of curse, this is speculation, because I don’t know how it works.
Got that bug one time today, I was like 15 minutes in the same area, my hard disk was loading nothing; I was able to see only 3 or 4 people in a place with +50 people for all the time, the 15 minutes, until I just restarted the game.
This thread is 10 days ago, I am still noticing ingame bug reports screenshots are not being sent, not sure about the text.
Or is bug reporting bugged, or it is (or I am) blocked in some way? I am reporting in spanish, and reporting like 2 bugs per day, some are spanish related. I want to know if I am losing my time or not.
Being my client in spanish I suppose reports are reviewed by people that know that language? I can report in english too.

The door cannot be opened normally as intended, is not reachable if you are just standing normally in front of it.
BTW, all the NPCs that are helping you killing “that guy” die in 3 seconds, and you must kill it solo, that could be hard, I just abandoned the mission, trying later.

Login in secure encrypted connection is something that “should be” in the game; But there are many websites and games that just send the password as plain text in a not secure connection, so is possible to steal it on the way.
Now, about storing the password, I was also thinking it “should be” encrypted in local.dat; But I know games that just store it as plain text on windows registry or text file, or in the direct access, like “game.exe /passwordhere” because it’s supposed to be your computer, and only you can access it.
Where is password stored in my PC? + It's login encrypted?

Also, when the password go from client (game) to server, is the connection secure (encrypted)? So, not even an employee of my ISP can steal it?

I play on JQ, and yes, we do roflstomp on a near-constant basis when we drop to 4th place, but it doesn’t mean that we need to be punished that week.
No one will punish anyone, it’s a temporal alliance for some minutes until all balance again, then you can “roflstomp” again, but at least the other servers don’t feel unmotivated; BTW, owning a map is boring, at least for me.
Sure you might get some bad weeks where you get pwnt by higher-ranked worlds but thats how the balancing system works. Don’t ask to get help in order to win if your server doesn’t earn the victory.

My idea is to help adding motivation to players of all that server owned, and add fun to the owner server.
Honestly it’s not a horrible idea, the only thing I don’t like is it’s punishing the winning team for winning.
It’s not “punishing”, it’s temporal balancing, as I say above, if they are dominating is because outnumber: same rank, same numbers, impossible to dominate 1vs2. Plus this will only happens limited times, not every time the 75% occurs, or it could be at 90%. You can see this as an “emergency” response of the enemy when they are being owned.
The game already has open PvP, that’s called WvW. But the idea of a PvE map (like the level 80 one) with open PvP (like WvW, of course, with the name of enemy hidden) looks really interesting, of course this should be optional, an instance of a PvE map but you still can play normally without PvP.
I don’t like the “voting” way to make a commander “better”. I prefer the game itself add rank to commanders automatically for every WvW capture he/she is present, and change the blue icon to a golden icon or any other color so everybody know that commander is good. (Should be different for PvE, with separate rank and icon for PvE events completed; A good commander in WvW is not the same as a good commander on PvE)
Also, change the way you can be a commander; it’s just “buy it”, hmmm, I am already seeing 3 or 4 commanders at the same time on WvW, in some months I bet we will see 50 commanders just running everywhere like flies.

That would just make WvW way too unstable or make it so that every time the winning team gets close to 75% they would just stop capping for a bit. It’s not fair to limit how good a team is doing or to make it so that every time you go over 75% of the map you just get steamrolled and have to build yourself back up.
70% of the map with three orbs of power? Good job!
75% of the map with three orbs of power? Nope! Not anymore! Now you get steamrolled by an army twice your size down to 20% of the map with zero orbs of power.
Sorry, but IMO when a team is winning with 75% on all maps is NOT because the team is good, it’s because they have more players (90% of the time is for that reason) or in rare cases have a superior rank (like JQ or ET when dropped to 4th place)
Being all worlds of the same “rank”, it’s completely impossible for a team to dominate with +75% on all maps, unless they have more players inside WvW at the moment; it’s just impossible, doesn’t matter how good the team is, they cannot dominate two worlds if the same amount of players of the same rank are playing.
This is just a plain idea, not even thought in details, but I think it could works if well implemented, or at least a modification of my idea:
When a world is dominating with more than 75% of places on the maps (as example the green team) the other two worlds (blue and red) temporarily convert in allies, and all blue and red places temporarily convert in yellow, and they fight together and cannot attack each other; When things normalize, all colors return to normal and places taken will change to blue or red depending of red/blue participation in specific place capture. This could only happens a limited amount of times, once or twice per day, or something like that.
No it will not be deleted. It’ll remain in the “rooster” area. You can click represent to talk to the guildies in that guild if you need to or access the guild bank.
Even if I represent another guild with my ALL characters? aka, leave my guild completely alone?
I have a quick question: I created a guild where I am the only member (no plans to invite people in), plus my other characters are on it too; What happen if I represent another (not mine) guild, will my guild be deleted if I do it will one character? or all characters? I don’t want to lose my solo guild by mistake.
I noticed a player buff when there are a big difference in players numbers, but I think that is not really helping, unless it’s a power or vitality buff, and buffs for buildings too.
To make this fair, this buffs could be an upgrade in the main keep.

From betas to some days ago I noticed the bug report in-game system was sending the attached screenshot on every bug report, I know this because I noticed the upload on my internet connection on every report, now it looks like is not sending it? I wonder if my bug reports are not being received? or the screenshot is not received?

I confirm this, in the middle of the screen, plus chat, plus it’s red; I am not sure this need to be so annoying; Breaks story immersion.
I completely stopped crafting when I noticed you cannot make any gold with it, it’s better and easier to just sell the materials.
Something must be implemented in crafting that allow people to make gold. There are many ways to do it, and I suggested some years ago, like adding exclusive crafted items that are needed by other disciplines, and make really expensive and time limited to change your disciplines, so people stay with two.
Whenever they close free transfers, I (we) need to know it many days before they do it. I am still unsure about what server I will play.
People already hating the best servers, can’t wait for the real thing (two weeks matches)
My question is: Why I am forced to see Commander icons in PvE maps? if I am just soloing PvE? or worst, inside cities, a guy running with a 100 gold icon in the head, I don’t want to see that, only in WvW.
That situation could be annoying indeed :-) but help people to understand priorities.
I like the suggestion about making the Grub kill useful for your server in some way. Also, that monster take too much to kill for a PvP map, and rewards are not really good (at least for me, the only two times I have killed it)
Possible solutions:
- Allow queue on the 4 maps at the same time.
- Add a new (small) map, that will be like a queue map where you can fight while waiting, this map could have multiple instances as needed, and could add some points to your server.
- Add another instance of an already existent map, like a second Eternal Battlegrounds, but not giving the same reward or points, or even no points.
- Increase players cap (I bet it is already at max capacity, so this maybe can’t be done, for now)
