Dell PSU quality is miss or hit depending on what range it was at purchase.
An underpowered PSU of questionable quality can burn if its overloading and or subjected to too much heat.

This is not settings change between two first images, just my textures loading up slow as hell. However, in instances like home or HoM, for some reason, they sometimes don’t load up at all. I have a dual core, so I can’t check changes with “high-res character textures” option.

Yeah definitely some snap in there.

Guardians have higher potential burst than thieves, they also have more natural passive and active defenses.
Thieves have more utility and mobility. They are also the first thing new players complain about, and its ALWAYS a L2P issue. But there is room for a bit of balance, they are not completely OP.

Okay, it seems like the quality of texture was corrected BUT!

1. If you teleport to another location with the mini out, the quality will decrease randomly and it takes a while for the better textures to load. Hide/show the mini will fix immediately, but it’s annoying to do.
2. In HoM and home instances, the better textures don’t load up at all, switching on/off is required.
3. There’s still something odd about red panda’s eyes, it’s like they’re hollow.

The guardian is good at many things, but mobility is not one of them.

Move to a build with more deeps or don’t bother roaming with a guard, its that simple.

If you have easy access to Fury and Swiftness, Vamp Runes seems the next logical choice if you are struggling to survive in Zerk gear.

Thieves are a problem when running SD.

Some tips :
Land your toolbelt reveal and burst HARD while he can’t invis.
You can try swapping Goggles for Elixer gun, as soon as the Thief engages you drop skill4 and cancel the animation, then hit him HARD. Elixer4 deals insane damage.
You can do this with Rifle 5 too. But less reliable and less damage, but it should pressure him enough on the engage.
Also protection injection and protective shield is pretty good for survival, ESPECIALLY protective shield vs thieves. You should swap Power wrench for it if you want to give it a try.
Runes of the Scholar are not suggested either in my opinion, especially if surviving is an issue. Rune of Vampirism is great for full zerk. Runes of the pack is better than Scholar too in my opinion.

The whole point is to take elixir infused bombs. Why wouldn’t I invest in healing power? Silly.
There is simply no place to take incendiary. Also with bombs you get plenty of burn. Shrapnel is pretty bad. I would take accelerant packed turrets if I could but as I said before, no place for it. No tradeoffs to be made.

You do not want to waste shield reflect as a pure knockback in most cases.
You can’t really use magnet to solo decap.
So you decap, then what? Without actual counter pressure he will just get back on cap long before your CDs are up, which you will NEVER outsustain with bomb heals.

No place for IP? Its only the most OP trait an Engineer has.

Not all of us find stuff like this fun. Alot find it extremely aggravating and distracting. It should be optional. A simple toggle switch so those that enjoy this crap can have it, and those of us that hate it dont have to deal with it isnt too much to ask for. You’d think they would have learned after last year with the bobbleheads. Its extremely distracting in combat. I’d like to have the option to disable it. Why should i have to just not play for a day just so some people can have fun? why is their fun any more important than mine?

Guild Wars 2 was built from the ground and up for DirectX 9. The whole engine is built around specifically having DirectX 9.

In order to get Guild Wars 2 Direct X 12 compatible, they will have to rebuild the engine, since it is not built to handle Direct X 12 (or 10 or 11) at this time. That will take money and resources.

DirectX12 is NOT going to happen and SHOULD not happen as its a MASSIVE project that would sink a lot of resources for a purely theoretically performance improvement.

If you had read Sea of Sorrows you would understand how hard it is to get stuff done in LA, the Captians Counsel is devided and stingy at the best of times and I am sure it is MORE so after Cobiah Marriner’s death(much later by now, I know, but he is the only truly “good” commodore to have been a strong advocate of growth and the rights of the people in the city that we can compare with).

They still need to vote on pretty much every penny spent.

Lots and lots of players have left this game since launch. Yes new players have come to the game, but again some of those left as well.

Because of this many zones on many servers felt empty to lots of players. So in order to make the game seem more active than it once was, they went to making the megaserver. Away goes server pride, and there are more players to group up with in all zones.

This also happens to be a great way for them to save money. Why spend money on 25 separate PvE servers when you can 5 which are filled up one at a time.

Now with HOT coming up, this will attract some of the old players back. If the above is correct then they will need to get more servers up to accommodate the increase of activity. And of course they will need to see how this would also affect the current servers.

You have no understanding of how the megaserver functions or networks/server clusters function in general…

I can not tell you why we are lagging, but your understanding of it is wrong and making assumptions and demands is not going to help the situation.

Except that 99% of supply on the TP is provided by natural drops, not specific farming.

Cele is not and will likely never be meta in PvE. Its only useful to a limited degree in WvW. The time gate is only a minor issue that will only be inconvenient the first time you make it, so no reason to complain.
