No , the recipes will stay on at all times , buy you need to have the halloween only items to craft.

Also note that , nobody would actually craft the recipe other than you … you can buy the recipe for less than the wine…

I honestly agree with this post.

Anet had only 2 flaws this entire event:
1) They did not test the first 2 patches well , both act 1 and 2 came out totally exploitable.

2) The RNG on the chests for skins. To have the Endless stuff in the chests is completely fine , but to add normal skins was a major let down , one that makes me not spend money on the cash shop.

So Anet , overall great event , but you need to rework some parts. The event is amazing , but sure could get better.

I will tell you , i also got 20 fps standing still… big events either my PC crash or i get 5 fps.

And yes , i get fps drops , which actually made me fall at some parts , near the middle there is a part it gets really bad wonder if you notice it too.

Still atm i did this tower 36 complete times.

Dont give up simple because you got a handicap , you just need to compensate for it.

Actually wait way past the end , but before the next holyday.

On this gap , that will be the only holyday short bow. But sell it before , cause a better bow can come out.

Honestly it is the carrot at the end of the stick.

People will keep running , there is an achiv and a exo boots to be had.

And most will keep going even if they hate it , simple to get that.

While i salute for your deed ,i still find it really silly to waste so much time , like i find silly people trying to make the tower harder.

The tower is not hard , can be completed really fast , same for this , just get a group of 5 and run for exos.

Making it harder is a good self goal , but boasting to others make you really look silly , since you just making simple things harder for nothing.

Well from were are you playing?

Cause i got a latency of around 200+ and a fps of 20.

And i now can do the tower with around 95% of success each run … hell i even forgot my streak after a while… 24 completions atm.

So it is possible , unless you have a latency much over 220 +- , which then would make the whole game really really bad for you. Oh and yeah , i also deal with fps drop during the run.

Well , i found it interesting , would not really keep doing without the loot at the end.

While i do the tower for fun , since all i get are 7/10 ToT.

BUT , did you tested them? Cause as far as i remember they dont work on this recipe. Anet was not that silly.

Yes this was really missing on the event. Finally something we can farm worth something.

All i wish is DROP THE RNG , other than that , everything atm is fine.

The new MK dung , added the farm place we needed amd the JP is really fun.

Honestly , the reason is quite simple. And it is not the internet is going to spoil it.

Most likely , the Mad King will destroy the Lion , and go away to some other spot.

Now to avoid this happening all the time , they make it one time event.

Why you ask?

Because LA is not an instance , that means , the effect is real , and it would make NO sense that each 3 hrs the Mad got out again and the Lion is fixed.

Then you ask? But why for this immersion/lore feature we get a problem?

Simple again , that is the way Anet rolls.

We know many player feel like that , so do I.

All we can do is not give Anet any more money , if they lose enough they will fix this , if other people buying still makes them profit … well this is the way it is going to be, the good side will be we keep our money.

Some people say it is hard and all , but the only bothersome part is to get the pages without the WPs, even on the lvl 60 area.

Might do it later on 2 of my lvl 2 chars i think it would fit. I dont mind doing the lvl 60 area , but getting all the 12 places with 0 WP is a pain.

You cannot because it’s temporary. The permanent version of The Crossing (that’s the staff you’re talking about) is a crafted version that requires a discoverable recipe and about 150Gold worth of materials.

Or…you can try your luck at the chest in the Labyrinth which has a 3% chance of dropping it or one of the other two permanent Halloween weapons. One try daily though.

Well it is quite obvious that if you could do that , it would NOT last 4 hours.

The recipe , for one those items , is freaking high price indeed. 0% of chance you getting it easily like that.

I think you are talking about the wrong ghost, the X ghost should be the woman on the fort. Not the one in the temple.

Edit: It is a man in the fort not a woman.

I did the tower with at least 5 chars lvl 2. So i can say there is no lvl requirement.

But , many were having the problem with the last jump.

Not just pistols, but maces, hammers, and axes as well. Which is disappointing since I run around with a hammer and axe/mace combo. :P
