Well , i only did 1 per char i got , so 3 times , cant confirm it myself.

That might be a good idea if you are lagging. Try to see if people blink and stuff like that.

If you are lagging you need to take that into account during the jump.

If not … well could be some weird bug , there are tons of weird bugs.

Usually to me , i go to a point where they appear , and usually a normal door pops up.

I beat the usual mobs that come with it , and later the Mad doors open so i can go there.

Im not sure if this is the right way , or if is actually someone on another part of the map doing something, but always work for me.

i played SWTOR for 4/5 months. People would still have no idea wth is Hutt Ball.

I had a lot of fun myself. But honestly , for the normal casuals , that was asking to much.

I think they should do something so everyone can enjoy it. The “noobs” are simple normal players , who are not like us “pro gamers” … guess you can see my sarcasm right.

That comes from a person who did on his 3 chars , and might do on other 1.

Honestly , if you find ANY good place to farm. You farm it TILL ANET NERF IT , cause i assure you , they WILL nerf it.

Honestly , i could care less if people got 100g or not. All i wanted was an event i could farm in hopes to get The Crossing… that is all.

This was the event , only event i had a chance till now. Since Anet nerfed it , im expecting to never get the chance without it being an exploit.

Well , guess is wait till the next update , and exploit anything you can for as long as you can.

I know that the rumble thing , Anet intend to make it a permanent PvP game mode, most likely with a few changes , but still i would expect to see it added later on.

The Inquisition i have no idea.

i will say here , i did not got 2 achivs from PvP lab.

I got one for entering both (i guess the first one game me that)

And i got a 2 when i killed the chest boss on the lab. So i dont think you need to win/lose any PvP match.

I will be honest here , i think the Tower was a very easy/simple mini game , sure took me a while , but i would expect that much.

Now , i admit , when i first played it , my first thought was:

“Anet really cant balance stuff right , you dont make the hardest JP an event thing…”

So , while i had fun doing it , i agree that for casuals that was a bit to much. Still people got till 31 to do it , guess with a bit more training , who knows.

GW2 IS ABOUT LOOKS , skins , visual pixels that look better than other visual pixels.

That is the reward/reason for pretty much about every single bit of later content.

Hell , a legendary , the ultimate weapon people farm like crazy , got 0 better stats , it is simple a pretty skins over a normal sword you could get in easily.

Strange , i completed on my norn/human/asura.

I admit , it was harder on my asura since they were smaller and hard to see on the middle on the norns/charrs. But other than that , 0 camera problems on all 3 chars.

Honestly it is not very hard at all. Watch a vid and there , you know all the jumps.

I already got it on all my 3 chars, and no , it took less than 1 hr.

This game is about being there first.

When they patch 50% it is bugged and can be exploited , just make sure you are there.

If you stop to notice , both act 1 and 2 came with exploits. Cant believe i missed act 2 , but i will be here for 3 and will try 4.

2) asura , <10 tries

Only human left.

Norn guard , 0 speed buffs. Not that hard.

using my asura necro on the other hand is hell. So many stupid people the kitten camera way.

Fact is , now doing that place is a 1day thing if that much.

Wasting time on halloween things.

At least the book is nice.

Most likely we get a chance on something before they nerf it.

Tip: stop basing your enjoyment of a game purely on what other people have. So, you missed out on something, and sure, that kind of sucks. But it’s not the end of the world. Also, think about how much the Halloween skin situation changed between Act 1 and Act 2. Super-rare in Act 1, a lot more common and easy to get in Act 2. I dont care about what anyone got , hell they could have gotton freaking leg weapons for all i care.

What i care , is that chests dropped The Crossing , and that was my one chance of getting it. That , is what i care about.

My tip is, if you are not really good at JPs mini games , dont waste your time.

What we need to do is wait till the add a patch , it comes full of exploits we can use.

I cant believe i lost my 1 shot at The Crossing … server me right.

I will be waiting the next patch, hope we find the exploit fast.

I hope we can still get the craftable halloween ones.

Cause that is all that is worth getting to begin with.

Where we actually farm this , i really want The crossing , and honestly , if i dont get it lucky using this , i wont get it at all.

three book pages are in human zones. but well thats okay, this is only act 1 and its also only halloween :P maybe other races will have their time for other holidays who knows

They’re in Human areas because they’re about the “Mad” King Thorn. He was a human king. And the holiday is all about him.

This , people did not pay attention to the first act story at all.

It is lore people , in lore this is a human king , hell , asura were still under the earth , sylvari did not event exist on his time.

So , it is a human thing? Yeah , i can see why.

They are the play dress up , OR , if you have a LOT of time , you can craft them, but i warn you , they are freaking hard to craft unless you are very rich.

I heard the kids sells them , will need to recheck.

Just got 2 boxes and from them all 4 minis.

There is no luck shot here , all you need is to consider is if the rare mini is worth 500 gems to you.

If it is , grab it , if not , leave it. Seems simple.

Honestly i think the scythe could have had some effect to it. I mean , both the chainsaw and the shield got it. The scythe feels a bit left out.

But it is still the only scythe i saw till now , so i got it anyway.

Sine The Crossing is 1000x better than Arachnophobia , i feel really happy my 3 lvl 80 can use staff , just need to pick which one will get it now.

Really , a weird spider. I suppose it got some nice animations i dont know about.

Hah , i found the opposite , the short bow looks plain bad , the bad moon looks good and the crossing is the most amazing staff in the game.

Hum i admit , i still got read it 100% , but just it seems a promising guide.

Honestly , im playing in Jade Query and i can tell you , at least when i did this event there was 0 enemies on the place. (At least by the time i done it)

If you get a populated server , people will keep the place 100% clean all the time.
Hell even if it is not clean , the amount of people coming and going will keep you alive , since people help each other usually.

Honestly … i think they look bad.

But hey , glad you like them, it is good to see people that enjoy a different weapon.

Its really just an very short term event. Really nothing in terms of the rest of the games content. Leaving because of one game event seems a bit dramatic.

Patience is needed in these types of games, as they are intended to be around and expanded for years. If you want everything a month and a few weeks into the game, then your expectations are a bit too high.

Conversely, if you had everything you wanted in game right now, what would be the incentive to play?

What i wanted was that short term content , like events had more honest ways to handled.

The clothes or the minis for an example , those are completely fine really. The event should be for fun mostly , while i understand the company should also focus on profit.

The gamble system simple made tons and tons of player grief , over nothing , could have been a very fun event , people already proven they got money to spent. Yet now , many wont anymore.

I dont think things should be handled, they gave us mini “legendary” halloween weapons , hell that is fine , get the halloween stuff now (which is not that hard) and work for it later , you got all the time you want. Same goes for other ingame stuff , the legendaries , dungeon armor and so on.

There are systems to make people work over stuff , i just think they shot their own foot with the system they picked.

Well to late to cry over the spilled milk , i want to see what else i still can get from the event , but like the OP , im not giving them one cent till they stop the chests on events.

Honestly people , this skin is worth around 30g while the event is on , while more and more are being added to the TP.

While this event is over , you cant craft. It is limited stock , like a collector edition, the prices will go up and up.

Some people will always want it , even if few , and there wont be more produced.

BTW if you have time to farm events for ~6 hours you should easily be able to buy that skin and save $60.

Teach me master … how you farm 30/40 g in 6 hrs. cause i for sure take longer than that while i farm events running full MF gear and in 5 mans parties.

If you want to go money wise 70$ is the way.

Really , after listening to so many saying how bad the RNG is , why you even consider using it …
