Honestly , got 3 lvl 80s.

My ele is as clearly as the sun on a bright shinny day, the weakest of the 3.

So yeah , i would like her buffed.

Im still picking my main , so this does not affect me much anyway.

Is full gear = full exo “tank” gear? (and i mean the whole thing from rings to helmet)

Stats would be the same as Exotic gear.

It would just offer small bonuses i.e. 1% damage reduction for 2 pieces / 2% damage reduction for 4 pieces / 3% damage reduction for 6 pieces.

As I said above, I don’t particularly care, but if progression without requirement / advantage could be implemented, I wouldn’t really care.

On other games is the same , people do it for the stats? Sure they do , but want to be able to show it off.

Most would never spend time on this if they could not appear in the “i killed X boss in X mode” armor.

I can predict it , i they add this , streams of people that want some way to prove they did will come.

Edit: Even more if the armor is all acc bound and they can profit from the high lvls.

The compromise people were suggesting meant that the bonuses on the armour would only be useful in that game-style. There’d be no stat increases, or any bonuses that would affect game-play outside of that game-style.

I.E. The damage bonus on Dungeon Armour would only apply to mobs inside of that dungeon. When you left, then that bonus wouldn’t apply, and so it’d be just like regular Exotics.

Honestly, like i said , i would quit over that myself.

Simple cause then i would need to farm dungeons to be able to go do dungeons from time to time when i want/need.

What this game is incredible about it the fact you can get exact same stats gear via many ways , change that , and it falls fast.

Also , sounds nice , but im betting people would want new looks on the gear with it implemented short after…

Cause im betting 90% would not farm the dungeon over and over for the same looking gear with with + 30 stats.

All i want is the option to turn it off.

I can ignore them on chat , cause i dont follow commander orders anyway , but i cant take them off my map.

Totally depends on how they impliment it. Would players leave just because they added something that didnt interfere with their vision of the game. Instance only upgrades are a compromise some have mentioned.

True , but this game whole idea is: you can get end game stats by many means.

Therefore , adding a new set would not mean you have to farm dungeons anyway, would simple be adding something over exos.

So instead of:
rare → exo
would be:
rare → exo → new kind

If they change the game , so that this new kind is ONLY achieved in dungeons , i would leave.

Why?

Simple i dont like to farm dungeons for gear , might farm one or another for a 1 or 2 items maybe , but i know i can do any of them , cause my gear , even if from outside , can do it.

If they change it so that can be achieved other ways, well that is going to happen eventually so we need to farm for new gear.

Until Anet comes out and says that people will make these suggestions. They paid the exact same as everyone else so their opinon is of as much value as those opposed to it.

Anet is a buisness who have to listen to paying customers if they want them to remain so. If they dont they lose money. They have wages to pay.

And people should notice that for everyone that wants to change another does not.

1) They can stay to the way they said the game would be and lose players.

I agree with this , the finish should be EXACTLY the same to all chars , so no buff that could in anyway affect it , should be allowed during it.

Well i guess with Anet it is:

Town clothes: acc bound
Equips with stats: soul bound

My main female Norn is a Guardian, and her primary weapon is the Greatsword. I can tell you it doesn’t look weird on her. Plus why would a Guardian use a greatsword? A guardian needs to be able to attack sometimes.

My point is , when i look at my guard i think she should have a +- noble look , be it for good or bad , she should look like a knight.

Leave it to the warriors to be barbaric.

A greatsaw would not fit my guard look , i got 3 skins from this event: scythe/crossing/mad moon, i really dont miss the greatsaw.

Honestly , it was a good event , but Anet still got room to improve on some parts.

Simple , it was freaking fun.

OP. Be fair to the rest of the world too.

This to put it simple.

GW2 is a world wide game , tons of countries and players are having problems outside their control right now and other tons will have in the future.

Should every time any country got a problem extend an event? There is quite the number of countries out there , halloween might last a year.

Honestly , i dont have nothing against those people affected and i hope they end up alright in rl. But , at the same they are not more special because they get more media cover? Did see what that same natural disaster did on other countries?

Why people are asking to stop for the east coast while other people might have lost it also and will take even longer to get the light back? Water? Food?

Really people , open your eyes , the world is wider than what the TV shows , and the east coast was not the only affected zone BY FAR , if Anet begins to stop for every place affected , we will lose the next 5 events locked in halloween.

I understand you all got good intentions and want to help , but you must look at the whole picture , not just a very tiny bit of it.

Honestly , it is a simple matter of agreeing on not on how Anet handles it , i for one , do not , and i wont support said company , outside expansions , with my money.

Honestly , the CT is by far the best part of the halloween event.

I did this a few days ago , honestly only reason i found this was cause the Anet guy with me pointed it out for me, then i asked both for help ingame and on the forums to put the message together and check it.

All i wanted was the crossing , got other exos , but no cross , had to buy on the TP 20g.

Halloween related items wont be taken from you , but you wont be able to get more of them farming , only using TP.

What you have yes!

But you wont be able to farm more , thus only place to get it will be TP. So be sure to stock any amount you need now.

My feedback is:

Things Anet SHOULD change:
1) RNG on chests
It is ok to have that for endless stuff , but for simple event skins was too much. People would still pay for the items at a fixed price and it would have made a lot less “paying” customers mad. I know im not buying gems till this change.

2)Test it more
Both act 1 and 2 came with major exploits , MAJOR exploits , i think Anet need to test the game more before each patch.

Things Anet COULD change to make more players happy:
1) The CT
While i had a blast in there (46 completions atm) , i think Anet should have called it a jump challenge and not a JP , many players were mad over this, and i think Anet should not add such hard event, to a holyday.
Instead Anet should have add at least 2/3 places like the CT to the game 100% of the time , i would love that.
2) Change the time of the events
While i think the MK was a great part of the event i wish Anet had places we could farm the halloween skins implemented before. And yes i know they did with the lab chests , but people just exploited that and they had to lock it.

This is my feedback , good event , but can get better.

I did it for fun and honestly dont think jumping once should give a title , lets make 100 completions . then ok , i think we deserve a title.

It was a hard jumping puzzle. Some people spent 10+ straight hours doing just that to complete it, that’s A LOT of time spent just doing one jump puzzle and I think it should be rewarded with a title. A title is not game changing, it’s not going to hurt anything. I’m guessing you did not complete it or gave up and don’t want others to display something they worked hard for? Maybe you did, just an presumption.

Atm i completed the CT 46 times(which includes on 8 chars , and at least once of each race) , yeah i counted cause i want to make a post on guild site at the end of the event. It even took me a while to confirm what the bell on the top says , but i also did that.

I saw tons of people farming the place , while very few were actually doing it for fun , dont think there should be a title , but hey , if many people think they deserve one, i can always use one more title myself.

Neither did I , had to farm a lot to be able to pay for lots of this stuff. reason why i got them when their prices were to lowest … now i got like 50s. Yet im happy.

My point here is , if you got the money , that is how you secure it , if you dont … well it is a long shot , but many got it , maybe you will also.

Well it was impossible for me to discover , since my resolution is bad , so what i did was , i climbed with another guy who got a good PC , he tried to convert, which ended a +- even for him , and i asked on the forums , they matched on many points. So i discovered what it says.

And it is totally strange to add that to the game , which is why it was so funny to find.

He showed me the New Krytan written on the bell , but would not tell me what it was , cause he said was a lost bet or something.

Actually climbed with him a few times after, i will tell you this , being Anet is not just for show , i can climb the tower almost at my will and even then he got there first once.

So you cant complete the tower and thus you dont deserve to play? Not really.

There is content for everyone , problem is , people go for content not meant for them …

Just like a low lvl char can get complete mad memories , a person with “less” skill (we both know this is not true, but i will use it here since i lack a better analogy) can get to the top of the tower, but the work involved is 100 times bigger.

I will tell you … rare wont cut it , 50+ runs … no skins.

Granted i got many exos … but no skins.

I would say get on TP , i got Scythe and Crossing 20g each and Mad Moon 10g , but the prices are spiking already.

Yeah i noticed this quite early , and i use 2 fear breakers just in case.

I completed the ct 46 times atm i write this post , and yet , i cant understand what is written at the bell since my resolution is so low…

Can anyone who knows new krytan and converted it , tell me what is written on the ct bell?

That tower is simple amazing.

On a side note , if people cant even do a simple jump challenge , how they hope to beat harder stuff?
