I have done over 2000 runs. I have done it with my ele and will continue doing it because of ar. Anyway, during my fractal runs i got 2 shortbows, speargun, hammer, sword, torch, spear, rifle, staff and longbow. That was all before these ascended armor/ascended weapon boxes. Now in about 3 and a half months i havent got a single skin nor any kind of ascended box ever and i do level 11, 21, 31 and 49 allmost every day. That’s 4 daily chest and nothing. Then there were times and times when i spent over 2 hours on lvl 49 because we got dredge and hammer, and in the end i got… not even a ring.

When i come online my guildies sometimes tease me saying: you are still doing fractals? Are you insane? Wow you must secretly hate yourself to punish yourself like that.

And you know what? They are right. Spending 2 hours in a doungeon to get a gold and maybe a uninfused ring? Plain crazy if you can get the same ammout of gold in 20 min in any dungeon.

My main is ele, been playing it for 1500h so far. My experience with dungeons or fractals are various. No class is perfect, it really depends on the style you play. Personally, i had mostly positive experience in dungeons or fractals, never been kicked, i once left when two stubborn rangers kicked my guildie from a party thats all. But most stubborn players are mostly rangers, so sorry to say that but in my 2000+ fractals that is my conclusion. Ofc i’m going to kick you after trying to talk nicely to you trying to explain after 6th wipe to please at least switch some traits or try melee just for that boss, but instead you stay max ranged doing lousy dmg, dying then two more ppl die trying to res you, and then cursing at me after being nice? Sorry sir, but you are out. I have a ranger too i love them so very much but pve and dungeon build are suposed to be very different.

in that wintersday mystery box that you can buy for 100 gems i got the mini snowman who when he follows me makes the boing-boing-boing sound love it.

you can buy the skin and use it once on a desired weapon, bow skin for bows, staff skin for staffs and so on. And later, if you don’t want your skin to go to waste, you can combine the looks of one weapon with attributes of the other. i hope i helped

I think the wintersday is going to be awesome. The first day of the karka event i was little sad because of the lag , because of it i was unable to land a single punch to any of the creatures. BUT the next day the people in the a-net fixed it and it worked just fine. I don’t know on what server are you but on mine i have only good words for the events.
