After i crafted my entire light ascended, zerk daggers, staff, scepter and fous and spent cca 200 or more gold on it, i agree with you 110%. Like, totally. I would love to repeat the process with some other ascended armor.

The pauldrons depend on your sylvari constitution. I saw that after i used makeover kit and had carapace shoulders equiped.

Dear Op. I’m talking about my 2 years experience in pugging. You are constantly talking about “shred of evidence” and “proof”, because you posted little conviniently cut out insults of other people towards you.

The thing is, in my two and something years of running pug fractals 1-50, all dungeons story and explorable i have never ever experienced that kind of swearing towards me or any party member no matter what me or others did (and trust me, there was a fair share of pretty dense people in partyes).

Learn how to interact with people, or not interact al all and just relax rather then post a greefing post how you are so awesome and sinless yet everybody kicks you and insults you for no reason at all.

Which is clearly not true as i can read from those mean people who once or twice ran a dungeon with you and now you are on their block list.

This guy plays out like he’s the victim “oh I am just a lonely guise looking for zerk group and dey always mean to me.”

In reality, this guy is brutally mean to all pugs. The group I was in was constantly told how much we sucked, had low DPS and were a bunch of failures. So eventually, I was fed up with him being this way, whispered 2 people (that I knew we also pugs, the 4th was his buddy, I could tell) and we all consented to kick him on the second fractal. The categorized fractal. Then lone behold his friend (who we did not kick, they were not being mean) starts to re-invite him, I keep denying, eventually he’s accepted before I could kick again. All 3 of the pugs were kicked out of the fractal.

Yeah, play the victim. You’re obviously not.

You are kind of leaning towards my theory. There is no way you would get those whisps if you did not;
a) kicked someone
b)called someone names
c) got in some kind of whisp fight after being kicked
d) somebody insulted your gf with who you obviosly play

So i can figure out you team up with your gf and play dungeons with her and usually kick together. Maybe she sucks and can’t play kitten. Maybe you both suck potato salad. Maybe you are elitists who are bad and trash your pug party while max ranging even the ambient creatures (never too much safety!!) Or pro melee elitists who trash those who are not.

We will never know. But i know there is no way you can get this treatment if you weren’t treating them the same or similar and then they backfired.

Edit: to make myself clear, no instance owner is the best thing that happened in lfg. That forces others to be polite even the sacred instance owner. Sounds to me like you got used to be instance owner then be obnoxious to your party and boss them around because you knew they can’t kick you.

This can’t be one sided really. I pug too on daily basis from dungeons to FOTM 30-50 and this is a result of exchanging insults and lowering yourself at their lvl. You can insult people pretty good without saying one swear. That’s mistake number one:feeding a troll. Mistake number 2 is interacting. Minimise it to “hello” and “ty bb”. Mistake number 3 is getting in “dps exp ping gear have xxk ach” lfg.
Pick your lfg like a smart person, or run with guildies. That’s my 2c.

I expected some outrageus lfg’s in this one. But i have seen far worse mate this is normal lfg, dungeon selling and zerk speed runs are normal in lfg.

You can actually prevent it by not selling the dungeons!

Yesterday (and the day before that) i got dc-ed from tequatl in the middle of the fight, after i waited 45 min to get and stay into a good overflow, i even taxied.

A week before that about 4 dc-s in fractals, one of the dc that week was on the third one lvl 50 a whole group got a dc and got kicked without possibility to come back.

Today, i waited about 35 min for a jungle wurm, got 3 commanders, things looking good, we got cobalt in about 50% of the health, then….guess what??? DC

so yet again i got thrown on some god forsaken overflow with 3 people on the map, because lol, there is no way i could get back into my old map because its packed with people who waited half an hour and didn’t get the dc.

I’m getting tired of this feces.

I think they are saving that for legendary armor

Why do people have need to implement these…..these…..nonsense in this game? There is about 1500 things to fix, and your great idea is: lul lezs hav weddings and free bank slots? And what, if you divorce wife gets half of your stuff???? Then we will need 2 more classes: a priest ( to marry ofc ) and lawyer (i’m allready seeing the elites on that one) and a judge can be npc.

Op, you reminded me on some guy (maybe it was you who knows) in lvl 40 fractals. Since beginning he politely but in a f-u-are-u-mad-bro way asking for might. Every 3 seconds. Then i realised i left my traits from wvw by accident. But this guy… literally every 3 seconds: ele gimme might, ele wheres mi might mate, ele why are you not giving might? You know what ele, set your taits this and that so you can give might.

That kittened me and i did not change my build. I stayed 0 0 2 6 6 now nobody gets might only auras. Nobody.

You remind me of that guy. Bossing people around, BUT if you put a smile on the end of it you think people wouldn’t notice that you are being pushy elitist kitty?

Once i got a advice from guildie, he is unusually calm, while i raged at other guildie for using this weapon instead that, and this build and not that , he just said:

Just let him play whatever he wants. If he likes it, leave him alone. Let him enjoy the game. And since then, game has been a bliss.

You continue with your elitism, and let others play as they like.

You can find others elitist, join hands and dance in circles around zerk greatsword and pray to the hundread blades and might gods.

Relax mate and enjoy the game. Don’t worry about gear and builds that others use just enjoy it.

I was thinking the same thing the whole run

Every day i do 15, 20, 30, 40 and 50. Or at least 38, and 49 if i’m short on time.

Yesterday i joined lvl 40, second fractal they said. It was ice one.

So i joined. Since start, things were little….off. 2 players jumped off into death, other dies because he stood in the part where ice falls from sky ( guess he didn’t get the memo) other dies of mobs, corpses on thorches as i try to pick it up, end up ressinng and die as well.

Second try, same two again jump i to death, rest of us lite the fire a few times then get ganked by the mobs.

That took about 20 minutes as our gear melted with the wall (usually done in 10 normal way).

Then another stupidity i have never saw doing fractals. So aparently, rushing in to ice elemental and wiping after totally ignorring lighting the fire or killing two veterans that spawn. So that took another 30 minutes (on lvl 50 it takes 15, with killing the vets).
Somebody down? No ressing. Just run past the people not giving a rats kitten .

So after wunderful 30 minutes in agony (real life agony not in game one even it strikes often) we kill the boss. End boss… same thing. No ressing just dps untill you die. Don’t waste time on dodging, lord jeszs no. Just die. Maybe res in crystall falling stage. Maybe.

Lvl 40 took hour and a half. That apparently is a speed run. Somehow.

I have 5 lvl 80’s, 4 100% map completion, working or fifth

Actually it does. I have seen some really bad warriors but at least they are trying, dropping a few banners and few hundred blades, still tons better then 1200 ranged ranger and a pet that aggroes every single thing in the dungeon then dies 40 times.

With bad guard, he still sometimes remembers to put up a wall or might the party, still better then staff necro who spawns aoe 24/7.

But the catch is: bad warrior or guardian is still better then a bad ranger or a bad necro. My personal opinion.

Hm, what if a vendor was added with the skins, each costing the same amount of tickets, and you can sell unwanted skins to them for one ticket.

Example: the skins cost 5 tickets. You can get lucky and get the one you want, but if you don’t, trade in 5 unwanted for it.

NO. What tickets? Vendor yes. Tickets? No.
Stack of pristine relics for one skin. That way it will stay hard to get and will have nothing to do with other pve content.

Come to think of it, i never saw a helmet drop. From armor drops I got legs, 2 boots, 2 gloves and shoulders.

Jormag batle: 3 greens and a rare. Time 15 min.
Fire ele: 3 champion boxes and few rares. Time 20 seconds.

Gotta love rng.

I joined fractals 10 just for kicks waiting for my hair dye to sit on my hair, asuran fractal end boss, 3 warrs, ranger and me ele. End boss, harpy path. One charr warrior couldn’t do the jumping part kept falling down. Me and ranger made it to the boss, then he kicked the charr warrior because he was having trouble jumping, then even there was only two of us, he started a boss. I managed to kill all four of golems, but once all four came alive the two of us wiped. Then i asked: what the hell man? Why start the boss with 3 people in the party, ehy are you kicking people?

Then loading screen. But you know what?

I’m not even mad. He’ll get what he deserves.

I feel a certain hostility from every ranger in dungeon or fractals no matter what lvl. Maybe it’s just me, i dunno.

My advice is: learn how to use trading post. Collect mats. Don’t chase gold, it will become a choir. Do whatever you feel like doing, even dance in lion’s arch in your underwear. I personally like map completion and fractals, but many people have problem understanding that.

So, just enjoy, have fun and don’t worry. Play what ever class/race you want, you can allways make alts if you change your mind

i just tried to run lvl 10 just for kicks (i usually run only 40 and 50 daily), it was asura end boss, and LB ranger kicked charr warrior for not being able to jump across that harpy mini jumping puzzle to the boss (he would jump through eventually, patience is a virtue) then started the boss whit only two of us near the boss, when i asked what the hell and why? he typed: to end this torment XD then i said: you are rude. then, loading screen.

45 min to 3 hours???? What is that, do you demand joining players to pay off your morgage while mowing yout back yard in lfg?

It’s not implemented because it would ruin the economy. Everybody would go for legend and sell it on tp. Prices of precursors would sharply drop.

I know, long ago i made peace with the fact i will never get a precursor drop nor any drop i want and i have to buy everything from tp. Eh.

Edit: since your post kind of says that precursors are flying everywhere, if someone has a spare precursor i’ll be more then happy to take care of it and make it into beautiful shiny.

No they don’t. Everywhere means me included, and that’s a lie since my most expensive drop was worth 20 gold in 2 years.

Just got second rifle on lvl 38 YAY

I had a weird experience last night. It was late at night and i joined fractal lvl 15. I was on my ranger because i just finished world boss tour.

As i joined it took me 3 seconds to write: hi, i reroll sec

But they kicked me almost after 4 seconds then invite me back in because they actually read REROLL part.

I personally know how rangers can be bad in fractals since long bow max range in prefered for some reason, but i think it’s kind of unfair. What if a ranger is full zerk and plays…well anything else then long bow?

That kick on sight is kind of insulting. I’m just lucky that my main is ele not ranger because it would be a pain in the but to find a group for..well anything.

I would say human tier 2 , but this looks like a norn.

well, farm orr or silvrrwastes or dry top. I’m not much a farmer so i don’t know their natural habitat.

New gem system is not quite new, just new interface and few extra buttons, don’t be afraid to push it.

And yes legendaries are even more expensive now.

I remember when i was lvling my fractals, on lvl 15 ish dropped a ring on my main. My first weapon, hammer, dropped od 30+. Then i got second and third ring on my ranger because i was lvling my rangers fractals for some reason ( progress was not acc wide then), did the same with my warr, but dropped nothing special.

Anyway, pre patch runs were maybe twice a week. I liked fractals but since it took a while to assemble team to run it, most of the time was twice a week.

Now, i do 30, 40 and 50 daily. When i don’t feel like doing 50, i do some 20ish instead.

So there you go

i did some exploration and found out that before patch i got: staff, sword, torch, two shortbows, longbow, pistol, rifle, spear, harpoon gun and a hammer.

post patch: trident and shield.

have in mind that pre patch time lasted about little more then a year (i think the patch came around january, maybe february this year) and post patch till now, sooo… around 9-10 months.

you do the math how much drop rates changed.

My advice is: save it. Or craft a stack or two or three of bricks. You can convert it back to dust in mystic forge.

I think those bricks will be usefull later for something.

Remember silk scraps/bolts? I used to throw away stacks and stacks because i was too lazy to sell it on tp because it was so low priced, even too lazy to walk to nearest vendor and sell it there. If i hadn’t i would probably make a fortune.
