Another question if you dont mind is the warrior the only one with Conditions or does a guardian have them as well? i will be making a warrior like the one you mentioned above but i also wanted to make a character similar to Logan Thackeray just for fun and RP purposes but i like the playstyle of tanky characters who use Conditions as their primary damage source. Is there any thing similar to that?

first please tell me what do you mean by bleeds. People will understand this as a condition but i have a feeling you are not asking that. please do explain.

Every class can do either zerk (pure dmg guild) or condition (applying freezes, confusions, burns, poisons and so on)

Some classes do it better then others, but every class can pull both off.

Are you looing for a condition (the build that is not focusing on a raw damage insted they apply conditions on enemies) (heavy) class? then S(sword)+S(sword) & LB (longbow)warrior would be my first idea, but if you’re looking for conditions there are a lot of builds

Some melee (melee means dmg done in close like with dagger, not from afar like shoot arrows from longbow):

Earth D(dagger)/D(dagger) Ele (elementalist) (bleeds/fire)-conditions you apply
S(sword)+S(sword)/ LB(longbow) Warrior (bleeds/torment/burning)-conditions you apply

Ranged (shooting from distance):
SB(shortbow)/ A+T (axe+torch) ranger (some bleeds, poison, burning)-conditions you apply
Stf(staff)/ Sc+T (scepter+torch) mesmer (PU) (well a lot)
Stf(staff)/ Sc+ D (scepter+dagger) necro (necromancer) (bleeds, poison, torment, terror)
SB(shortbow)/ P+D (pistol+dagger) Thief (bleeds/torment/poison)

Grenade/ gasgun engi (a lot)

Tankyness is mostly derived from gear, Rabid or Dire Armor, Trinkets and Weapons tend to make you tank fast.

If you alsso want some power you culd choose a sinister build in a heavy or medium class and add some rabidpieces on legs/chest/head armor, while not very tanky it will have some more sustain and a more balanced way of doing dmg…

Curious, does that mean he had to get new accounts? or just took some time off? Really curious as it seems we have people who have “been dealt with” that are still walking around in the game today.

He has same acc, i remember not seeing him ingame for quite a while, he confessed to me that he made a pretty nice sum of gold out of it but has stopped because devs join AC paths quite often to see if it’s legit or not and bann the sellers (which doesn’t make any sense to me, why bann if the exploit is well known for really long time and still they didn’t fix it therefore they punish the players for not fixing their mistake? But i’m not getting into that)

The point is, they can also bann you for joining a hacked path. So be careful. Make sure the dungeon is legit. And it’s quite simple, if the mobs aren’t cleared out past the first door, it’s done via glitch, so just leave.

Personally i dislike AC and i never buy dungeons because i’m too broke for that, but this is usually done within seconds (i asked him and he explained to me), thats why it’s so popular, if you hack it and sell it for a gold per person, you can make up to 50 gold per hour. But they will probablly ban you so please don’t.

I have 3800h, 5 lvl 80s, most prized possesion that dropped is a mini Kesmeer during southsun events that i sold for 30 gold at the time.

Meanwhile, some people that i know got about 3 precursors in their first 5 months of the game. And here i am, 2 and something years later, doing every world boss every day only to get greens and blues and occasional rare so i can sell it on tp for a few silvers and maybe some day try to earn enough gold to buy a precursor and someday maybe craft Meteorologicus. Maybe.

New world exploration. I love exploring.

But! I run fractals with two of my buddyes and none of us are in the same guild. We could easily kick people. But as decent human beings, we don’t. Also if you can, run with 2 buddyes it is kind of anti kick insurance.

Humans: too boring and every single ele or mesmer has t3 armor with wings of dwaina and a hair with flower on it. Bifrost optional. Allmost every human female is a copy/paste with big tatas and males are pretty boys also copy/pasted.

Asura: tiny and every time they jump i have feeling they will fall face first and plant themselves there or fly away like the helicopter with all that arm flailing. I tryed to make asura guardian, i deleted it at lvl 36.

Simple. Upon joining the group make sure they are not from the same guild. That’s half of the battle.

I think The Reset was enough trauma on its own caused by Anet itself. Having an option to self-inflict reset on fractal level just adds salt upon injury

I will hapilly +1 that, the amount of time that takes me to assemble decent 50 team (begging via whisper) and the rewards that drop, and all those awfull pugs experiences during lvling… no just no.

You know you do have azurite in molten fractal? Not orbs, but still, its there.

Fractal skins. Lack of subscription. Collecting materials for legendary weapon, but not farming. When it happens, happens. Baby quaggans.

Well i don’t see the problem, the same is with mawdrey ( which you have to spend certain amount of gold to craft it) it gives you some junk and a few greens if you are lucky. It is designed to relieve the players of those pesky ascended materials. Two bank tabs to be precise.

Its simple. Gray letter items don’t lvl up your crafting, only green and yellow/orange ones. Use the discovery tab too.

2 years ago i choose elementalist to be my first char. It was hard to play for first 7 months, but now i’m grateful it was my first, every class that i lvled after was a breeze (ranger, necro, warr and a thief) today with my ele as my main, have no trouble getting into dungeon or fractal groups, and learned to dodge quite good.

And trust me, if you choose staff as your weapon you will be slinging boring spells, but when you switch to any other weapon you’ll see it’s as kitten it can get.

I’ve done story 4 times , 5th on the way. I like story too

As an alementalist who started playing fractals two years ago i got every drop but: dagger, scepter, focus.
Those were the skins i wanted since the start. Got everything else.

After i played staff for a year i switched to scepter focus. I stack might now and pretty much was amazed how much dmg i can do with those and protect myself and group on the same time. I love it.

30 min ago a fractal buddy of mine whisped me if i want to join lvl 50 fractals. Second one, hammer. As i just promised my other fractal buddy i will do it with him i asked if i can bring him along, he said sure. So we join and the buddy i invited typed: omg you are still on the boss?? You were on thus boss like an hour ago. So i smelled some troubles. He prevously played with them but quit due….well i’ll get to that in a second.

We had 3 warrs, guardian and ele. So pretty much great settings. As we started to play i saw that 2 warriors are pretty much bad. Really bad. We nearly wiped but the guard and a revive orb saved us we managed to get back on our feet.

But let me say…. three of us was carrying those two. It was not fun. Not fun at all. Especially when the last fractal was jade maw.

Yet we didn’t curse, swear, or boss them around or kick them. Maybe that’s just their gameplay and they don’t feel comfortable playing full zerk but they still suck even if they have the health (i’m still afraid to go full dagger after 2 years of playing).

Just chill and do your best, if you are carrying, feel like a superman.

This just… would not work. I allws get angry whisps when i play on ranger on necro and winning 1v1 usually : kitten your talentless class, or 1 on 1 me kittenin noob. Probablly they think i deserve the penalty even if did nothing wrong, just played my class as good as i could.

I allways vote for skyhammer. Because fear.

This is terrible. My party was: a guy who stepped for the first time into pvp, two dolyak ranks, one deer and me a wolf. We were paired in not one,not two, but five matches aginst dragon and phoenix ranks.

I say create your lfg saying you have 0 exp in arah and just rock the dungeon.

I never read on tactics nor watched yt videos on dungeons, because it gives you 0 experience.

Just go and try the dungeon, you’ll get in the hang of it pretty fast. The problem is, arah is little more difficult then other dungeons. I rember spending 2+ hours per path on my first run, lots of wiping

But it was fun really, the reading just ruins the experience. Just go for it man.

Usually if i’m in a stubborn french group (it’s allways french who refuse to talk in english) who refuses to talk in english and talk among themselves in french even if i say “in english please”, i start talking in croatian and from that point on will not say another word in english whole run.
